Mom couldn't stop looking at Prince Thomas. "Really? You felt like checking on us? That's… that's… too kind of you my prince" she laughed awkwardly and glanced at Emma eating beside her.
Prince Thomas chewed his food and sipped his tea. "Am I not welcome?" he raised a brow.
"Ahh… no, you're very welcome," Mom said quickly, not wanting to offend him. Prince Thomas suddenly smiled and looked at Emma. "Thanks for welcoming me. I'll be staying for a few days."
What? I looked at Emma. Even she was surprised. She dropped her fork and stood up. "I'll be in my room," she said and left.
"Ahh, Prince Thomas, I'll go and prepare a room for you," I said, standing.
"Is there even a room left?" Mom asked in confusion. The house is small, with not many rooms. "I'll prepare my room and move to Emma's room," I assured her. Prince Thomas looked at me and blinked. "I'll be back," I said. I already know what he meant, he wants to sleep in Emma's room!
