Chapter 2 - Transmigration

Under the sun that shined the corridor beside the medium-sized building.

I was walking with Jennica Lopez, following her as she leads the way to my apartment. As for why, was because Professor told her. He advised me to rest in my room and will soon receive some help from the rest.

In the moment, I was observing the building. This building was built inside the castle-looking place I was currently in. It was an apartment building. There were no modern light, yet, the lamp was built on top of the ceiling at the side of the wall, enough to keep the corridor from being dark.

As we walk through the corrider, Jennica sudden striked a conversation. She asked, "Did you really not remember anything..?"

Since that I didn't know anything and have no memory about the life of this person I've taken over, and since they knew, I should tell them the truth, but not all.

"Yes." Shortly I answered with a straight face. She remained slent for 6 seconds before she finally introduced herself properly, "My name is Jennica Lopez. I'm your sister. Older sister. I'm 16, and you're 15." She paused as she turned her face toward me and asked, "Do you remember your name?"

Since I've heard what they called me, and she was my sister, I already remembered my current name to be Evan Lopez.

"Yes, I do. Evan Lopez, right?"

"You're right. You're my younger brother. Remember that from now on!" She exclaimed. A few steps was taken and she finally stopped and faced a regular wooden door. It has a foreign symbols on it. Supposedly resemble the number of the room.

I can't read the symbols.

Come to think of it, I somehow able to understand whatever they were saying.

I also could talk in their language, which I didn't realized it myself until now.

But if I could understand them, why couldn't I read?

I tried my best to understand the symbol, trying to refresh my memory to find Evan's. Then, a sudden headache striked me. The painful feeling over my temple was so bad, I crouched down in pain.

"Ack-"

Jennica noticed my sudden action to crouched down, she immediately bend herself down to help me get up, "Evan-! Are you okay?!"

In the middle of the excruciating pain, many thoughts that weren't mine, including a foreign images and knowledges I suddenly gained. Those were memories of Evan Lopez.

...

Evan Lopez was a 15 years old boy. He's a student of Luscient Academy. His parents died in a war of wizards 15 years ago which took place in Arrorod. It was a war between the wizards and a group of strong criminals. Though, wizards won the war, it took the life of his parents.

Luscient Academy located not far from Hambord city. Evan originally lived with his parents in Accel, but as of currently, attending the magic school, he lived in an apartment building located next to Luscient Academy castle. Even so, he still have his older sister, Jennica, with him.

For his school life, he was always bullied by Finn and others. It was due to his condition of being forgetful. Evan suffered a condition where he keeps forgetting things, which could be called Amnesia. Worst thing, today, Evan forgets everything.

His father's name was Alphapa and his mother's name was Feiry. They died at the age of 28 on the date of 16 March 1547. Both went to the same magic school, Luscient Academy.

Although Evan was still a baby and Jennica was just one years old, they were raised by their uncle, brother of Alphapa, Zeralpha. Their uncle was the only family they have right now.

...

And as for the original me, I'm Hoshizora Haruto. Someone who lived in Japan. I'm a normal person who worked as a clerk in a certain company.

As for the reason why I was here, was still a mystery. Although, I've read a lot of isekai novel, I still found it unbelievable. It was fascinating that this was always possible, but terrifying to know that I was being transmigrated into a new world. I'm now experiencing the situation of the main character in an isekai world. If this is my new reality, I should get used to it.

I am not sure what kind of world I'm currently in, but magic does exist in here. The only thing that make me feel concerned is that I don't have a cheat or a system to help...

I looked at the sign on the door once again. Finally, I could read it, Room 011.

"Evan..? Are you okay..? You suddenly fell down..." Jennica asked worriedly. She had her arms around my back. She then slowly lift me up to stood on the ground. She let go when she noticed I could stand on my feet normally.

"Yeah... I'm... Fine..."

Jennice cast a gaze over my face and proceed to opened the door. The room inside revealed it's appearance. The inside was very luxurious. It looked like a room of a majesty. I feltfamiliar with this room, yet, amazed by the appearance.

Wow... so this is my room...

Jennica took a step to the step, giving way for me to enter. As I took few steps into the room, I once again couldn't believe how good the room is.

There was a study table next to the door where I enter. The size was big enough to put a pile of books around and still have the space to write a book. The table and the chair both were made of white wood. It also had small drawers. On top of it has a lamp which could be used for studying at night.

There was a closet nearby where I could stored clothing and other things. A suitcase beside it and a pile of used clothing on it.

A single bed on the left side facing the closet. A window beside it big enough to open and received a blow of wind. It was also covered with a transparent white curtain. The colour of the bed was white. The pillow look very comfy, caused me to have a thought of wanting to lay down on it immediately.

There was a bookshelf beside the study desk. There were not much of books being placed on it, but most of it look so interesting. I do have half of the books already been recognized by my eyes, but I can't remember the content of the book. So, this is a sign for me to read it again as Evan.

She sat down on top of the bed and looked at me. She patted the place beside her as a signal of inviting me to sit beside her. I followed her signal by sitting beside her and she began to hold my hands gently and said, "This is your room. From now on, you should remember this room. Room 011."

I nodded slowly. Then, she continued by asking a question, "Are you really okay? I was concerned for you because you suddenly fell down. I know that you're feeling some pain."

She squeezed my hands gently and her eyes was a bit watery. But, she was holding herself from tearing. But to ease her up, I planned to reveal the truth. The truth that I remember everything.

"I... remember everything... sis..." I said, givibg her a warm smile.

She was shocked by the statement coming out from her own brother's mouth. "Are you serious? You didn't lose any memory?" She asked desperately. I could sense her sadness slowly mixed with happiness. I then answered, "Yes. In fact, I remember everything. About you, father, mother, the school and all."

Hearing that, she happily hugged me. She convey a wordless statement that she was happy to hear what I just said.

I hugged her back, embracing her happiness.

But, sis, your bother is a bit clueliss. But the one that clueless isn't Evan, but me.

She let go of me and sit normally. She tilt her body a bit to be able to look at me face to face without turning her head a lot. She then asked, "But do you remember what happened today, before you wake up on the field with those bastards?"

I shook my head and replied shortly, "No."

She sighed heavily over my answer and said afterward, "Then, I'll explain to you."
