Chapter 1 - Legacy of a beast god

Chapter 1 — The Exiled Creator

Rain fell softly on the red-tiled roofs of Uzushiogakure, the smell of cedar and wet earth mingling in the crisp morning air. At the edge of the village, where the forest thickened and shadows stretched long, a lone boy sat cross-legged atop a mossy rock. His fingers moved in intricate patterns, leaving faint trails of light in the air.

He was Uzumaki Kurafuto, born into a clan famed for its chakra and resilience, yet cast aside for being… different. Unlike others, he could create life from metal and chakra, fusing mechanical precision with living instincts. A talent too wild, too unpredictable for the elders to trust, and so he had been exiled.

The Awakening of Creation

Kurafuto opened his eyes, piercing and calculating. Before him, a small puddle of water reflected the gray sky. With a quiet murmur, he called out a name:

> "Drago…"

From the puddle, metallic filaments rose, intertwining with his chakra like threads of light. Slowly, a small creature emerged — a miniature dragon, no larger than a sparrow, its scales shimmering sapphire and crimson, tail twitching with energy, claws clicking softly against the stone.

> "Not wild… not untamed… mine," he whispered.

The little dragon blinked, its mechanical body twitching as if sensing Kurafuto's intent. Even in this tiny form, it carried power, intelligence, and potential. Kurafuto smiled faintly. It was only the first step. One day, Drago could grow to six meters — even hundreds — to meet the challenges ahead.

Exile and Resolve

Kurafuto had long ago learned the lessons of survival. Exile had hardened him, sharpened his mind, and taught him patience. He had wandered through forests, across rivers, and over mountains, honing his abilities in secret. And now, he had a vision: a place where his talents could be recognized, where he could create freely without fear.

Wave. He had heard stories of the coastal nation — a city of innovation, of daring leaders unafraid of the unusual. He did not know the princess, the nobles, or the daimyo personally. That did not matter. The goal was clear: reach Wave, demonstrate his creations, and carve a place for himself.

> "One day," he murmured to Drago, now perched on his shoulder, "they will see what I can create. And none will dare ignore it."

The Journey Begins

With a deep breath, Kurafuto stood, brushing rain from his crimson hair. Drago shrank to the size of a sparrow, coiling safely on his shoulder. His small form glimmered faintly as if understanding the importance of the moment.

He turned toward the distant coastline, where the faint silhouette of Wave's spires and harbor awaited. Each step was heavy with purpose, every footfall carrying him further from the home that had rejected him, closer to the life he was determined to build.

> "Wave," he whispered, voice steady, eyes gleaming with determination.

"Prepare yourselves. The age of Zoids begins… with me."

Foreshadowing the Gemstone System and Trainers

As Kurafuto approached the coastal cliffs, his mind already raced with possibilities. In the future, he would craft Gemstones — crystalline catalysts that allowed humans to bond with Zoids, ensuring loyalty and control. He envisioned Trainers, skilled individuals capable of wielding multiple Zoids, protecting the nation, and exploring beyond its borders.

But for now, none of this existed. For now, there was only him, the first dragon, and the promise of a future that he alone would create.

> "This is only the beginning," he murmured, hand brushing the tiny metallic scales of Drago.

"And I will show the world what it truly means to create life."
