Chapter 150 - Chapter 149: Cadia Handover

Chapter 149: Cadia Handover

After an unknown amount of time, Imperial warships retrieved the Imperial Fists warriors and Dorn, who were scattered in space.

Looking at the stiff Dorn on the ground, all the Imperial Fists warriors were heartbroken.

"Why didn't the Primarch wear his helmet? His body has frozen!"

"Primarch, please wake up! The Imperial Fists cannot be without you!"

"Emperor above, please save your child!"

The Imperial Fists warriors gathered around Dorn. Then they saw a cluster of golden light shine on him from space.

"Wake up, child! The Imperium still needs you!" The Emperor's voice constantly vibrated through Dorn's soul, and Dorn felt as if he had slept for a long time.

Slowly opening his eyes, he saw himself lying there, perfectly intact. "Hmm... Francis didn't lie to me. It really works!"

However, as he looked out the window, a giant mushroom-shaped planet stood in space.

Dorn: "???"

Dorn frantically stood up and looked out of the giant window. The chilling realization hit him as he suddenly shivered all over.

BWANNNNN!!

A huge roar pulled Dorn out of his memories.

Landing craft slowly descended from the sky, and the massive thrusters' airflow kicked up dust from the ground. Countless Imperial soldiers and Imperial Fists warriors paused to look up.

Hiss~

The hatch opened, and Francis, clad in his Hundred-Eyed armor, slowly walked towards the high platform.

Dorn looked at Francis again. Although the other Primarch's face was beaming with a smile, he felt a chill. If he wasn't mistaken, he had almost died in space earlier.

Or rather, if it weren't for Francis, he wasn't sure what would have happened to him.

"Brother! I'm here!" Francis roared as he lunged towards Dorn.

The Soul Drinkers behind him all covered their faces with one hand, following closely.

Just as Francis was about to embrace him, Dorn raised a hand and stopped him, a look of vigilance in his eyes. "What are you doing here? Didn't you go to the Webway?"

As Dorn's right hand touched Francis, a strong neurological pain was instantly transmitted to Francis. Francis's eyes widened instantly. This feeling was like having ingrown toenails all over his body! He staggered back slightly, wincing.

"Dorn, you're leaking electricity, aren't you?"

Dorn: "..."

Just as Dorn thought the other was joking, Francis said seriously, "I'm not kidding. Your Pain Glove is exposed!"

At this, Dorn remembered and, blushing slightly, quickly adjusted his Pain Glove.

Francis seemed to have thought of something and whispered to Dorn, "So you like this kind of thing! I have even more stimulating torture devices, all collector's items from the Drukhari!"

Dorn: "..."

"It's just a way to keep us awake. The Imperium still needs us to build without stopping!" Dorn's voice was loud and firm.

Imperial Fists: "..."

Imperial soldiers: "..."

The scene of "brotherly harmony" before them left them a bit at a loss. They always felt that this 11th Primarch was a bit different from the other Primarchs. The strong sense of incongruity left them somewhat bewildered.

"Ah, who knew the old man would have me switch places with you," Francis said, waving his hand with a hint of helplessness.

Dorn: "..."

The two were silent for a moment.

Finally, Dorn couldn't help but speak. "Um... do you still have that medicine? Not the mushroom one. I mean the one that can turn people into silver metal."

Not only him, but other Imperial Fists warriors also looked at him with burning eyes. Countless hearts pounded in the field.

Francis cleared his throat and continued, "Cough, For sales, you can contact Sarpedon of the Soul Drinkers."

Dorn: "...What??"

He thought these potions were all free, but he didn't expect to have to buy them.

Just as he was about to say something more, the voice of a messenger came. "Lord Primarch! Urgent intelligence! An Ork Attack Moon is invading the Sol System!"

Dorn's brow furrowed sharply. He turned and took the data slate offered by the messenger, quickly scanning the information. "Orks... Attack Moon?"

"I'm familiar with Orks. Why didn't they send me?" Francis also frowned deeply. The Orks came too quickly. He had a feeling of trepidation, as if something was calling him.

Dorn said nothing more, immediately turning to look at the Imperial Fists warriors behind him. "Mobilize immediately! We must return to Terra at once!"

The Imperial Fists warriors below the high platform moved in unison, quickly assembling. The warriors donned their gear, and weapons and equipment were loaded into the landing craft in an orderly manner.

Dorn turned to Francis, his tone tinged with urgency. "This place is vital, with frequent appearances of daemons and traitors. You must be careful!"

"Father didn't send you to Terra. He must have his reasons. Just guard Cadia."

"Don't be reckless. It's truly dangerous here."

Francis nodded, his expression serious. "Yes, yes, I know."

Dorn said no more. He looked at Francis for a long time, nodded slightly, and then turned to lead his warriors to board the ship quickly. The Imperial Fists fleet left, gradually dissipating engine trails in orbit.

Francis watched Dorn's flagship disappear into the sky, then turned away from the viewport. His previously serious expression instantly vanished, replaced by an overflowing excitement. He picked up a red Ork phone and made a call.

Poru-Poru~~

Poru-Poru~

On Prospero.

"Francis?" Magnus answered the phone, his voice tinged with curiosity. "You actually contacted me on your own? That's unusual. Do you have more bad News?"

"What do you mean by bad news? I'm sharing good fortune, alright!" Francis chuckled. "He-He, I have a big deal here. Do you want to join?~"

After all, in this matter, besides Magnus, others really wouldn't do.

"Big deal? What are you going to do? Isn't it too early to betray? We don't have many people!" A strange light flashed in Magnus's eyes.

Francis: "..."

'What is going on in his mind?'

"I just wanted to ask what you've been busy with lately, and also invite you to Cadia for a gathering."

"This is a great place. Beautiful scenery, rich resources, and... a great treasure that can amplify psychic powers!"

As soon as he heard about psychic powers, Magnus's eyes immediately lit up. "I'll be there right away! Wait for me!"

Magnus immediately shrieked, rushing out to rally the Thousand Sons Legion.

After hanging up the Temu Den-Den Mushi, Francis stood motionless for a moment, then a hard-to-read smile appeared on his face.

He quickly returned to the core control room of the Blackstone Fortress, immersing himself before the massive control console. His hands moved swiftly across the panels that flickered with ancient runes.

"Let me see! How powerful is the Blackstone Fortress really, Dorn it's not that I'm dishonest, but the best defense is offense!"

"I'm doing this for the Imperium too!" Francis shook his head with a helpless expression on his face.

The entire Blackstone Fortress slowly activated, accompanied by a low resonating hum. Countless metal struts began to move, releasing a powerful energy fluctuation. Several huge and complex focusing crystals began to emit dazzling light.

As Francis pressed the final button, an incredibly thick crimson beam of light tore through the void, pointing directly at the Eye of Terror.

In the endless twisted space of the Eye of Terror, countless daemons and Chaos Warriors were assembling. A massive Chaos fleet suspended next to the Warp rift.

The spirited Abaddon stood before everyone, raising his daemon sword and roaring. "I have gained power comparable to a Primarch!"

"This time, we will surely plunder the surrounding planets clean and make the Black Legion's name resound throughout the Imperium!"

"Brothers, then we will launch the Black Legion's Second Black Crusade!"

"Let the Imperium tremble!"

Just then, an incredibly terrifying crimson ray swept through the gathering place in the Eye of Terror with unimaginable speed.

Only a sizzle was heard.

Countless black powders fell to the ground. Looking at the stunned expressions of everyone, Abaddon followed their gaze to the sky. Immediately, Abaddon's eyes widened like brass bells, and he roared in immense fury.

"Where is my DAMN SHIP!!"
