Chapter 112 - Chapter 85: General Objectives

In the dimly lit basement, Su Ming casually filled his stomach. At crucial moments, he had no problem eating insects and rotting animals, let alone canned food.

He quietly contemplated the map on the whiteboard at one side.

This place wasn't far from the highway. On normal days, the sound of cars passing by would be audible, but now, all that could be felt was a blanket of silence outside.

Barry's mouth was full of meat pieces as he also looked at the map but found nothing new in the U.S. map. "What are you thinking about?"

Su Ming took out a cigarette and lightly bit it, drawing a few symbols and lines on the map with a pen.

"I mentioned before, they're essentially knock-offs of Batman. After succumbing to madness, they gave up their greatest advantage, which is Batman tactics. They are lost in their new powers... The Red Death Demon also didn't fully utilize the normal Speedster abilities. On one hand, another you was distracting him in his mind, as occupying someone else's body with a soul isn't quite compatible. On the other hand, he did not anticipate my appearance, and we two cooperated rather well."

"But your tactics seem crazy too." Barry wiped the crumbs off the table, considering whether to continue eating meat or switch to beans for a change of taste.

Su Ming rubbed his temples as the memories flooded in. "That's because they're Batman. They still have logical thinking abilities, and even if they don't use them, I can't let my guard down."

"So you're using unpredictable madness to fight the Red Death Demon?" Barry shrugged, continuing to eat meat, "Just like the Joker?"

Su Ming shook his head, exhaling a smoke ring and continuing to draw on the map without turning back. "He is really insane; no one can mimic it. My plan seems crazy, but in reality, it's backed by armor and self-healing abilities; it's just acting."

Barry struggled as he swallowed a large piece of meat, almost choking. "Ever thought about leaving mercenary work to become an actor?"

"Disguise is just a basic skill in special operations. He thinks I'm crazy, unaware of the dark energy within him, but didn't expect I have more information than he can imagine. With Bat Gold in hand, I can completely crush him using information asymmetry."

Su Ming scribbled chaotically on the map, turning the entire world map into a dense mess filled with symbols and abbreviations Barry couldn't understand. If he didn't know that Deathstroke's thinking ability far exceeded ordinary people, Barry would definitely think he was venting his anger on the map.

"Uh... What do we do next?"

"Next, we head to the Celestial Eye's underground warehouse in Washington to confront the Merciless Iron Fists and free Diana from her entanglements." Su Ming patted the map, the first plan and backup plan were ready, which could be followed.

"Alright, then let's go now." Barry had almost fully recovered his strength. He quickly devoured a few cans of luncheon meat, eagerly looking at Su Ming.

"Sigh..." Su Ming couldn't help but sigh inwardly, putting his helmet back on, slinging the weapons on the table onto his back, and said, "I still need some preparation. The Merciless Iron Fists are a Weapon Master and War God. Rushing in now would only cause chaos for Diana."

"Alright, I'll listen to you. I'll just deliver you there." Barry put on his hood and wiped his mouth.

"Let's go to the Pyramid of Khufu in Egypt first. I need to switch weapons; although Bat Gold can be said to be short and risky, it's not enough to fight the Iron Arm whether used as a brick to smash or a dagger to stab."

...........

"We're here."

Barry crossed the sea again, directly delivering Su Ming into a dark tomb.

The surrounding smells were filled with dust; the tomb wasn't large, with only a golden coffin and nothing else. This place had long been converted into a museum by the Egyptian government, with anything valuable having been moved long ago.

"Went too far, backtrack a bit, back to the upper exhibition area." Su Ming said to Barry helplessly, he seemed a bit overly eager, running too fast.

"Uh... sorry..." Barry scratched the center of his brow with his finger, looking a bit embarrassed, carrying Su Ming back into the museum again.

"Don't let urgency or anger affect your thinking. Save your energy... found it."

The Pyramid of Khufu, just like other pyramids, belonged to Egypt which once was a vassal state of Great Britain. The treasures inside had mostly been transported back to the British Museum by British archaeologists. Even after Egypt's independence in 1922, to this day, the British government still hasn't returned the artifacts to them.

However, those explorers waving the flag of archaeology were only interested in gold and gemstones. A lot of things they didn't care for were left behind, and Su Ming came precisely for that.

He skillfully took out a large amount of C4 explosives, blasting open the museum's vault, inside of which were showcased many ancient weapons. But his target was clear, directly heading towards a weapon in the corner.

Su Ming elbowed through a glass display case, the glass crashed to the ground, and he picked up a one-handed hammer inside.

It looked completely unremarkable and was not light in his hand, weighing about seventy or eighty kilograms. It resembled the Meteor Hammer from the history of the Celestial Dynasty, except there was no chain between the hammerhead and handle, which were fixed together.

In Europe, this weapon was called the Morning Star Hammer, just a large spherical ball with irregular conical spikes cast on it. This was the equipment of Hufu I, the first generation Hawkman, but without a doubt, it was made of N Metal.

Back then, alien spacecraft landed, and the strange metal discovered was used by him to create equipment.

The Promethium-made armor trembled slightly. This was the guidance between 'metals', Su Ming knew he hadn't found the wrong thing.

"Weren't you always using a sword?" Barry listened to the relentless alarm sounds coming from nearby, looking somewhat nervous. This was obviously a robbery, in which he was an accomplice.

"What it means to be a Weapon Master is that any weapon can be used to exert master-level combat power and skill for me. " Su Ming slung the hammer over his shoulder, adjusting the strap. "The security will arrive soon. If you don't want me to kill them, quickly take me to the next place."

"Where to next?"

"Where is the Shadow Contract Team now?"

Su Ming now needed some magic assistance, and the Shadow Contract, composed of several powerful mages, was quite appropriate.

On one hand, they were all superheores, relatively enthusiastic, and on the other, it was a team with numerous members. Getting them to help could make things a lot easier.

Barry first took Su Ming out of the pyramid, arriving at the bank of the Nile River. Overhead was a sky full of stars, and before them was the rolling river water. Su Ming keenly noticed crocodiles swimming not far away.

"I was previously saved by Doctor Fate, teleporting me from the Red Death Demon to the Forgotten Tavern, but as soon as we laid out our plan, the Dark Knight Order caught up..." Barry crouched down, watching the river flow before him. "The captain of the Shadow Contract Team, Master of the Dark Night, voluntarily stayed behind to cover our Justice League, but soon after, the Dark Knight Order caught up with us....."

Su Ming arranged the weapons on his back. The large amount of munitions made him look like a hedgehog. If it weren't for his exceptional physical condition, there'd be no way to carry so many weapons: "Master of the Dark Night has already sacrificed himself, if the Shadow Contract Team is not in the Main World, they might be in the Magic Plane, Maya... and we can't enter that place, are we really going to him..."

"Who? It's not Witch Circe again, is it?" Barry's face was full of rejection. Apparently, Earth -11's Circe left a bad impression on him.

"No, Witch Circe's witchcraft is too niche, only effective against the Olympian Pantheon's magic. The person we need to find now... Sigh, it's hard to explain, let's go, London, United Kingdom."

Su Ming sighed. If there were any way, he definitely didn't want to go to London, that person was just too troublesome.
