Chapter 162 - Chapter 134: Wall of Origin

The location of the Wall of Origin exists in reality and in the concept of worlds.

It is located outside the Milky Way Galaxy where Earth resides, billions of light-years away, resembling a spherical nutshell that encapsulates the entire universe.

It is both the beginning and the end, existing in every universe, yet untouchable.

No matter what kind of power one possesses, anyone who touches the Wall of Origin will be turned into a living statue, absorbed into the wall.

Now the Wall of Origin is covered with densely packed reliefs of powerful beings, all of whom are mighty figures able to traverse universes and reach this place.

Currently, they are neither dead nor alive, simply fixed in a pose, turned into gray-white statues, and eternally preserved with the Wall of Origin.

In summary, from any perspective, the Wall of Origin is the boundary of the DC Universe, and those daring to touch it will be 'shelved'.

Few in the DC world recognize the existence of the Wall of Origin, and those who do typically do not approach it. Even the Justice League and many universe overlords generally deem it unprovable and unknowable.

............

The Watcher was tied up by the Mad Laugh in the Bat Cave. Although he had lost his abilities, his vision and experience remained. The sound of the Wall of Origin rupturing hit him like a thunderbolt, yet he could do nothing but sigh repeatedly.

Besides him, many in the Main World, whether on Earth or alien, also sensed something amiss with the Wall of Origin.

For example, the Eternal Council hiding beneath the Antarctic volcano, who suddenly fell into Silence and then began a frantic discussion.

"Barbatos failed, the future we tried to avoid has arrived..."

"Originally, it would have been enough to prevent all universes from colliding, but now....."

"What do we do now?"

"Fortunately, our surrender to Barbatos hasn't been exposed."

"That's no longer important. The Wall of Origin has ruptured, we all..."

As they were speaking, in a flash, half of the people in the meeting room vanished suddenly, and the crucial part was that the others were oblivious, as if those people had never existed.

Standing on the central podium, Vandal Savage also let out a deep sigh, realizing his dream of dominating the Earth had come to naught.

..........

In outer space, a spaceship was drifting, and a young woman was awakened by a piercing alarm.

She glanced at the other woman sleeping beside her, unclothed, got up, and put on her tight-fitting white leather outfit, pulling golden long hair from her neckline over her shoulders.

"Sarah?"

"It's okay, I'll go check the bridge, you continue to rest."

She kissed the woman lying down, who returned the kiss with a smile, "Alright, work comes first."

The woman in white swiftly walked out of the rest room and headed to the bridge. This ship was not a large battleship, so the bridge lacked numerous instruments and equipment. Instead, it was furnished with many antiques, resembling a small museum.

She entered a room that looked like a study, with a gigantic display screen on the wall. Several people were gathered around it discussing something.

"Captain."

"Sarah."

"Lady Lance."

They greeted the woman in white, who nodded in response while focusing on the large screen, which showed Earth surrounded by a series of large red exclamation marks flashing continuously.

"Gideon, what's happening?"

She asked loudly, understandably irritated at being woken by a piercing alarm.

"Earth-0 has detected a time warp."

A female voice emerged, belonging to the ship's AI, whose everyday duties included maintaining this spaceship and assisting the captain with missions.

Since the captain was now present, the alarm could cease.

The piercing alarm instantly disappeared.

"Thank goodness, it finally stopped."

A young Black man wiped the sweat from his forehead, hurriedly entering from a cabin, not even having the chance to adjust his pants.

"Yeah, that alarm felt like Michelangelo chiseling inside my head."

Another woman with glasses echoed him, her face full of helplessness.

Sarah paid no attention to their discussion, staring at the rotating Earth on the screen.

Earth-0 was not her home. They were all outsiders to this universe, and frankly, she didn't even know how the spaceship had brought her to this cosmic system.

Naturally, no one could tell her that their universe was the DCCW, the TV universe, another universe surviving from the Infinite Earth period, existing independently beyond the 104 light and Dark Multiverses.

Just like Slade, who Su Ming crossed into, his original universe was the Arkham Universe, evolving from a game. Apart from that, there was the DCEU Movie Universe, which was also independent.

However, being all part of the DC Universe, they shared something in common with the many universes of N52, which was that all the Divine Speed used by Speedsters was the same. In other words, if Main World's Barry wanted, he could completely travel to these universes.

For Sarah, Earth was the mother planet of all humans, the same regardless of which Earth's world one is on. She would undoubtedly help if she could.

But Earth-0 is particularly special, even if it hosts the same superheroes, they are much stronger there; her own abilities upon arriving at Earth-0 were practically insufficient, rendering her unable to do anything.

"Earth-0, I remember there being a Justice League at this point in time, right? What could go wrong?"

She was already disinterested; she was just a small fry. What consequences could there be when diving into a vast ocean?

"The original history has been drastically altered, resulting in severe consequences, but the subsequent effects are still an unknown factor, impossible to determine."

This ship once belonged to the Time Lord Council, with Kideon having all information about the past and future. Originally, Earth-0 had a very clear future, resembling a large tree, but now the tree was shrouded in Mist, rendering it unseeable.

If the AI had emotions, it would definitely be very tired now, mentally exhausted. Not only was the mission exceedingly difficult, but her captain Sarah was an exceptionally capricious woman, a result-oriented person, impulsive and aggressive, and also a lesbian.

As an undocumented Time Lord maintaining the progress of time and history, she would sometimes even take the initiative to alter the timeline, acting contrary to her duties.

Changing the linearity of time is not so easily achieved, and what might appear favorable at the time might lead to significant issues in the future.

Once, when they traversed time to the era of the First French Empire, the task was merely to correct a minor issue, yet during the mission, Sarah, much like in modern times, hitchhiked at the roadside in Paris with her thumb out, and she indeed got a ride on a luxurious noble carriage.

The noble inside the carriage was curious about her behavior, and Sarah thought carriage rides were quite boring, so they chatted casually en route.

But once the task was concluded, upon returning to their original timeline, they discovered France was ruling the world.

The noble inside the carriage just happened to be Napoleon. During the conversation, Sarah inadvertently mentioned the name 'Waterloo,' which he remembered, prompting him to make choices different from historically recorded ones when the Battle of Waterloo commenced in the future...

Having no choice, they had to go back and fix that issue once again. Fortunately, they possessed equipment to erase others' memories.

Besides that, Sarah had done many outrageous things, like having an affair with Charles II's Empress, bringing Caesar to the modern era, and causing the emergence of Demons in a western town, among others.

However, Sarah remained indifferent, hardly learning any lessons, often responding to time-related issues with "I'll deal with it later."

Sarah was now feeling somewhat drowsy; after "playing" with the lady for several hours, even being a superhero and a former bather in the Pool of Lazarus wouldn't prevent fatigue.

Besides, with the Justice League already around, what turbulence could arise?

"What's the threat level?"

Nevertheless, since she was the captain, she had to at least go through the procedures, making an inquiry even perfunctorily. She crossed her arms over her chest, resting one hand beneath her chin.

"Level 12."

The hand supporting her chin slipped abruptly, her beautiful face full of disbelief, and she even choked on her own saliva.

"Cough cough..... Did you say level 12?"

"Verification correct." The AI affirmed her with certainty.

"Is this a typhoon warning? I thought the highest crisis level was 10?" The muscular man beside her, all brawn and no brains, immediately questioned it, his face jiggling with unease: "Do you need servicing?"

"Operational procedures are normal, no servicing needed. Earth-0 has produced a temporal singularity, completely altering the flow and form of the timeline."

Gideon meticulously answered him, and suddenly everyone felt chills down their spines.

A level 12 threat was unimaginable, unprecedented. In their own world, even with Vandal Savage wreaking havoc across countless timelines, altering the Southern Army to victory in the Civil War, the threat level was merely 4.

"What does that mean?"

The muscular man still didn't understand, scratching his head impatiently while everyone else remained silent.

"It means it's off the charts..."

Sarah stepped back a few paces and threw herself onto the soft sofa like a sack, covering her forehead as she answered him softly.
