Chapter 431 - Chapter 399: Luthor's Genesis

The sound of the ocean tide echoed in the cave, and a gentle light emanated from the white crystals.

Circe always felt that Luthor's face was filled with a strange feeling.

She closed her eyes and shook her head, perhaps it was an illusion. Her past fear of the Witch Mother, the Endless Clan, and God made it hard for her to feel confident about destroying them now.

But Luthor was clearly different. His super technology had sent him to the future, and in that future world, he knew that humanity had successfully annihilated all its enemies.

Everything perished, with humanity being the strongest, and only Luthor remained eternal.

But at that time, humanity was already on the brink of extinction, the concept of 'transcendence' trapping them in an endless loop.

Everyone wanted to be stronger and stronger, surpassing everyone else, mercilessly killing the losers, because the weak living only wasted energy.

Humanity accomplished this, transcending the gods, transcending God, transcending time and space, transcending destiny and death.

At that time, no external factors could stop humanity.

Luthor saw on the future planet a giant statue of himself, humanity conquering the Multiverse in his name.

But he couldn't feel happy.

Because people in his city were killing each other, never stopping the behavior of 'transcendence.' When external enemies were eliminated, they could only choose internal enemies.

Dividing and dividing again, even if only two people were left in the entire Multiverse, they would try to surpass each other, using any means necessary.

It was a chronic death of humanity, and Luthor didn't need to see it to guess that.

He was humanity's savior; he wouldn't allow such a thing to happen. He had to start changing now, and send the Justice League, representing transcendence, into the dustbin of history.

Originally, he wanted to be a good person. When the Omega Four Gods descended, he helped, even joining the Justice League.

But after traveling to the future, he regretted it. Because having him in the Justice League fully promoted the spirit of 'transcendence,' that's why the world became like that.

So he betrayed, finding another door, that of destruction.

He wanted to correct the mistakes all humanity would make in the future, and that required power.

He knew that if he wanted to confront the Justice League, his own power wasn't enough, so he formed the Destruction Legion, summoning villains with expertise in various fields to serve him.

He promised them generous rewards.

He, an ordinary man Luthor, would reshape the entire Multiverse with the power of destruction beyond the Origin Wall.

This was his Genesis.

After becoming God, everyone else would have a place like today's Endless Clan, becoming conceptual beings, existing perpetually.

But before creation, there must be destruction. This is not a philosophical saying, but a necessity to eradicate the deformed future.

He had already succeeded halfway.

When he left the Justice League and formed the Destruction Legion, the future was changed.

In the distant future, people killing each other on Luthor's planet smiled one by one; they saw time and destiny change.

They embraced extinction in intense red light, and an erroneous timeline was completely erased by Luthor.

But those future people, in the moment of their death, were filled with joy, finally rid of the compulsion to grow stronger and transcend everything.

They sent their dying thoughts to this era, thanking Luthor for liberating them, thankful their god Luthor hadn't forgotten them, so they no longer had to try to surpass him.

All of this made Luthor more certain he was doing the right thing.

To others, even Batman in the Justice League, they revered gods and rules, acting only in God's name.

To Luthor, the God who frightened countless others, or other powerful beings, were just small hurdles.

The choice of destruction lay in humanity's hands, and he was fully confident.

However, the last mission to seize the Totality failed, and the things within the Totality were the other half of the key he needed.

But he wasn't anxious; he knew where the Justice League would hide the Totality. Satellites and drones of the Luthor Group, supercomputers and robots, constantly monitored the Justice League.

When he saw Superman building a 'Bat Moon' for Batman, he sneered.

This kind of godly recklessness turned 'transcendence' into a true nightmare.

The moon belongs to no one; it is shared by Earth's creatures, maintaining gravity and numerous environmental factors.

Just because they have power in their hands, can the Justice League freely blow it up, then laugh and make jokes about it?

It's such behaviors that set a bad example for humanity, that having power means acting without restraint, with countless similar examples.

Everyone wants to become powerful, able to act at will, a nature modeled by 'entropy,' intrinsically drawn to freedom and chaos.

The Justice League must be eliminated, the world changed, so kill everyone shaped by entropy, and have Luthor shape 'Neo-Humans.'

The first chapter of the Bible, Genesis, records God's creation, and at any bookstore, a Bible can be bought for a few US Dollars.

If you have good relations with the community church, a priest may even give you one.

The steps of God's creation revealed many things to a clever person like Luthor.

On the first day of Genesis, God said, let there be light.

So Luthor joined forces with Sinestro, standing with the Guardians of the Eclipse Star to introduce Invisible Light from beyond the Origin Wall.

Invisible Light completely restrains the light of this world; it comes from beyond the Origin, with no strength within the wall able to command it.

Yet with a door handle, Luthor can; he can use his 'light' to replace God's 'light.'

The Static Force and Divine Speed are merely keys to activating the plan, already calculated by Luthor.

The Flash thought he closed the door, but did he notice that the Static Force actually existed within him?

Barry Allen, the most special Speedster, generates Divine Speed with every step.

Now, the Static Force does the same.

Luthor understood Speedsters well, their eyes like frog's, only seeing moving things, so the static, unchanging Static Force was unnoticed.

As long as Barry kept running, he would provide endless energy for Luthor's plan.

The dead Turtle People? Merely a pawn, his death crucial to the plan.

Batman's decision also fit within Luthor's calculations, making The Flash take over the security of all cities, meaning Barry had to keep running...

To ensure this, Luthor recruited Joker. This madman's criminal connections are vast, his chaos theory highly inciting, making crime in every city unstoppable like a boiling pot.

On the second day of Genesis, God made the stars.

At present, the so-called stars should be the Multiverse.

Beside Luthor was just such a person, very familiar with the dark side of the Multiverse, precisely what destruction needed.

Of course, Luthor didn't trust that person, nor did that person trust him.

But that eternally smiling person told him it's foolish to trust others, but now they could cooperate since their goals aligned.

Though a madman, he was still the Dark Multiverse's best detective.

Luthor tasked him again with destroying the stars.
