Chapter 476 - Chapter 443: Discovering Luthor's Schemes

A new contract, not bad.

But Batman should be careful... that's kind of weird.

He knows some of his own strength, and needing to be cautious even so means something has happened.

Like a hero dying who, in Batman's view, has strength comparable to Deathstroke.

Su Ming is currently limited by information, and he's not clear about what happened during his few evening leisure hours.

"Alfred, can you help me check what's happened recently with the Justice League?" Su Ming paused his steps toward the spacecraft, turning back to walk beside Brother Eye, commenting on how quickly this place was repaired.

"Although this computer can access the Hall of Justice's computer, I still need a password." The butler said helplessly.

Su Ming tilted his head, password...

The core of the Justice League is Superman, Diana, Batman; therefore, the password couldn't be entirely decided by Batman alone.

It must be something related to all three of them.

What do they have in common?

"Try 'justice'." When uncertain, just guess; any human set password would have its logic.

"Incorrect." The butler tried it, and the password was wrong.

Fortunately, this is a backdoor Batman left for himself, bruteforce guessing the password here won't trigger alerts to the Hall of Justice.

And Batman is so busy right now—unless he specifically looks, he won't notice; even if he does, he will think it's his butler...

"Hmm... executing justice deeply." Su Ming guessed again.

The butler added an adjective and a verb, but it was still incorrect.

"Challenge accepted, try 'transcend'." Su Ming became interested, crossed his arms, and uttered another word.

Still incorrect.

"Interesting." Su Ming got serious; apparently, the password isn't based on these commonalities...

Then the answer must be their shared understanding of motherhood.

Su Ming sighed, this password was basically a torment from Batman to himself.

"You wouldn't want me to say that name, would you, Ah Fu? You know what your young master longs for."

Alfred nodded, already understanding and sighing inwardly.

He entered 'Martha' in the password field, and access was granted; the Justice League's data is now open to Deathstroke.

It's not the time to be sentimental; no one can bring back Bruce's mother, and Su Ming also cannot.

He chose to skip those details and check what happened last night.

Then he saw Diana and Sea King got eaten by a Sea Monster, and Firestorm turned into a Fish-Man.

"Damn!"

He was just sympathizing with Bruce, but now Su Ming found out the Diana he struggled hard to protect was sent away by him?

And this note, 'MIA' is an unlucky term! Didn't you think of looking for them? Being teleported by a Sea Monster is surely not a good sign?!

Su Ming hasn't even gone to Olympus to collect his reward, yet Batman lost his protected target, what's the grudge here?

Now his task has added another item: rescuing Diana.

As for Sea King... forget it, he might as well rescue him too this time.

Launch an attack, carry out a beheading operation, and rescue two hostages on the side; it seems on the way.

But the opponent managed to restrain Diana and Arthur, so Su Ming better do some preparation.

Batman dispatched most of the Justice League's forces into Cosmos, that's a risky move.

If it was Su Ming, knowing Luthor is always lurking on the sideline, he definitely wouldn't let Ron and Steel Bone leave.

Global mind control and spacecraft transmission in sonic boom passage would be greatly beneficial to the current situation.

Yet right now they're absent.

"Whatever, look at the mess your young master made; the decent hand got played like this." Su Ming complained to Alfred, but the butler is accustomed to it.

"Young Master Bruce has his plans; maybe we'll understand his intentions later."

"Say what you want, but my plan is different from his." Su Ming returned the computer to the butler and went off to familiarize himself with spacecraft piloting.

The butler left the computer and followed: "Do you need me to teach you how to pilot a spacecraft?"

"You've learned?"

"I was assisting by Young Master's side when he was tuning the equipment, so..."

Su Ming considered, maybe he should just kidnap Ah Fu?

But ultimately he decided not to; bringing an honorable elder to the battlefield is not a good choice, that's the stuff for young people.

Fortunately, Su Ming's learning ability is strong, and since he's not planning to go far from Earth, many functions inside the spacecraft he doesn't need.

After about ten minutes, he learned to pilot the spacecraft.

Of course, if it breaks down, he wouldn't be able to repair it; he's basically a driving school crash course graduate.

"Did you fill up the tank?" Su Ming sat in the cockpit while the top of the Bat Cave was slowly opening, with a hidden takeoff exit situated on the distant hill near the mansion.

Ah Fu stood aside wearing headphones, acting as ground crew: "It doesn't use fuel, rather an alien energy; as long as you know it can fly for a long time, that's all you need."

"Thanks."

Su Ming piloted the vertical take-off and landing spacecraft, disappearing directly from Ah Fu's sight.

Watching the protective shield in the sky gradually close, and the mansion return to its original appearance, Ah Fu planned to start preparing lunch ingredients.

In case the young master has time to return?

................

Su Ming first returned to the rooftop of Wayne Tower, to pick up Harley and Ivy.

The two women seemed bored on the empty rooftop; Harley kept dancing around Ivy, while Ivy only thought about her plants.

When the cloaked Bat Spaceship revealed itself in front of them, both of them were startled.

Until Su Ming brought them aboard, Harley was still a bit hard to accept.

"You couldn't possibly be Batman, could you? How suspicious..."

She circled around Su Ming, looking left and right, trying to find traces of Batman's disguise, with her colorful little head bobbing in front of him.

But Su Ming pushed her head away, blocking his view of the road.

Although there won't be any traffic accidents in the sky, there are still enemies at higher altitudes.

"Behave yourself, we're going to find some of my friends, then head into space to smash some alien heads."

"Aliens?" Harley mused, nodding as she pinched her chin, "I thought it was God coming to cleanse us, but it turns out to be aliens."

Su Ming chuckled, "This has nothing to do with God, if anything, the aliens seem very familiar with Earth's mythology..."

At this point, Su Ming paused for a moment, as if he had grasped a hint of something.

All of this is connected, and the sequence of events seems related to Genesis...

Harley's unintentional words reminded Su Ming, allowing him to see the hidden clues.

On the first day, God said 'Let there be light', and Luthor also managed to bring about light, invisible light.

On the second day, God said 'Let there be stars', which should represent the Multiverse.

And the Joker in Luthor's lineup, the Laughing Bat's head should be Luthor's goal.

As an infected with the Dionysus Factor, the previous injuries of the Laughing Bat shouldn't have been fatal, and soon the Dark Multiverse's army will attack.

On the third day, God said to let the seas and lands be divided, so Luthor brought in alien aquatic races and sea monsters to overturn this process.

On the fourth day, God would say there should be the sun and the moon, so Circe joined the destruction.

The Inverted Man devoured the concept of witchcraft, but Circe likely inherited Hecate's concept of the moon, only lacking a solar concept on the opposite side.

On the fifth day, God would create animals, Luthor might target the Red of All Beings.

The sixth day is to make man, and the seventh day is rest.

And no one knows how exactly Luthor will execute these steps.

Su Ming began adjusting the communication equipment on the console, he needed to contact Batman.

To remind him that Luthor's shadow is involved in this, that oaf with the bald head is imitating God, no, the bald head already considers himself God.

The communication was connected quickly, with Batman multitasking like a multi-core processor, handling all sorts of issues around the world simultaneously.

Su Ming didn't waste words, he shared his new discovery with Batman.

Batman simply nodded indifferently, indicating that he already knew, Luthor thinking he's God is nothing new.

"Why are these two ladies on my spaceship?"

That seemed to concern him more.

"Hi~ Bat, your airplane is really luxurious, but where's the liquor cabinet?" Harley jumped over, smiling and greeting Batman on the screen, not treating herself as an outsider at all.

And Poison Ivy was more polite, she had been moving with the Birds of Prey for some time, after all, Barbara used to be Batman's sidekick.

"Now this is my spaceship. I have my own plans. You better not play any remote-control tricks." Seeing Batman wasn't too interested in his friendly reminder, Su Ming had nothing more to say.

Batman narrowed his eyes, his question was why was Harley, the Harley supposed to be monitored by the Celestial Eye Association, right 'here'?!

Thinking of the time Deathstroke disguised himself as him, Bruce had basically figured it out, Amanda must have been deceived by Deathstroke.

What a handful, Deathstroke always causing some situation when he's out of sight.

Bruce felt mentally exhausted, struggling to raise his trembling arm and press his temple.

The arm's sharp pain was nothing compared to his headache.

"Celestial Eye Association."

"This is a deal between Amanda and me, it has nothing to do with you." Su Ming seamlessly lied.

"Is it?"

"Of course, Deathstroke offline."

After saying this, Su Ming directly cut off the communication.

"Tch, the whole world's busy saving lives, and you're here discussing Harley with me...."

Su Ming held the joystick, rubbing his temple with his other hand; priorities should always be balanced, right?

Harley is his trump card against the Joker, and Poison Ivy's plants are for countering Cheetah, it's all for tactical necessity.

Fine, let's go find Zatanna first, with the Inverted Man's rise, Zatanna, wielding Antithesis Magic, is undoubtedly at her most powerful.

But when Su Ming reached the theater's sky again, he found that the theater had been submerged, Zatanna had turned into a fish.

"Tsk...."

Facing the attack of Reversed Speech Magic, all Su Ming could do was give up, return to the spaceship, and leave.

Originally, after Zatanna woke up, she returned to the theater to start renovations again, as the tentacles generated last night caused quite a bit of damage to the place, both the stage and seating area needed repairs.

And the theater lacks windows, plus the working warlock wouldn't wear any communication devices, as having a voice pop out of nowhere while chanting spells is practically a death sentence.

Unexpectedly a flood happened.

While she was rushing to fix the walls, she didn't anticipate the sea would cause mutations, and she directly turned into a fish.

"Ugh...Little Zha turned into a fish."

Harley lay against the spaceship window, looking mournfully at the Fish-Man Zatanna on the ground, casting magic erratically as she gradually disappeared from view.

She felt sad for her.

Meanwhile, Poison Ivy had carefully collected some purple seawater, starting research work through the spaceship's simple laboratory.

As a genius in botany and chemistry, she believed she could discover some trace, even developing a serum to reverse the Fish-Man transformation.

But with the chief mage turned into a fish, Su Ming could only look for the second person, truly a cycle of cause and effect, for having gotten money from the hapless Batman, now he had to take it to another hired mage.

However, upon arrival, Albella was also not in the office.

After knocking out some Fish-Men blocking the path, Su Ming found a note stuck on her office door.

"The owner of the office has gone to Hell."

It seems Albella, despite saying she wouldn't get involved in Lucifer's disappearance, went anyway, truly a woman who says one thing and means another.

The water was rising fast, and Su Ming didn't linger, returning to the spaceship once more.

"Do you have a third option?" Harley tilted her head and asked, Su Ming having explained the necessity of a mage, after all, being comprehensively prepared is better when facing unknown enemies.

"I do, let me contact my secretary first." Su Ming had the plane ascend and cloak, beginning to prepare the communication.
