The cloak lifted a corner and patted Su Ming on the other shoulder. When he turned his head to look, it conveyed its thoughts by curling its collar: "I have an immature idea, not sure if I should say it or not."
Su Ming just glanced at it and turned away: "No, you don't want to."
The cloak was speechless; this answer didn't match.
Su Ming's lips twitched slightly. Over the years, he knew the magic floating cloak too well. It was greedy and lazy. Although it was very useful, it couldn't be given a good face.
Otherwise, the cloak would take advantage, climbing up the pole, proposing all sorts of unreasonable requests.
Like asking to be washed by hand, wanting perfume, wanting to go for a ride alone, wanting to eat the Time Gem or Cosmic Cube and such suggestions.
All were rejected by Su Ming. Dream on, everything is possible in dreams.
Anyway, it was handed to him by The Ancient One, so he wasn't afraid of it running away.
Strangulation rubbed against the host's face, the crescent-shaped eyes looking at the Demon God in front of them, sharing fierce determination as if saying: "Cloak, you're too unserious, this is a battlefield. Who dares to bring up immature ideas?"
The cloak was very frustrated. It lifted a corner, planning to pat Strangulation to vent.
"Don't mess around, get ready to engage the enemy." The shock wave caused by the battle made Su Ming roll in space like duckweed. He quickly stopped the infighting between Strangulation and the cloak: "Strangulation, you must work well with me from now on. I need you to compensate for my self-healing ability."
Strangulation stuck out its tongue at the cloak, rubbed against the host again as a response.
Though the cloak was playful, it knew this was a battlefield. It shielded the Supreme Mage, pushing forward through energy shock waves, rushing between Dormammu and Omar.
In the Dark Dimension, there's air, allowing sound to travel. Without hesitation, Su Ming pulled out a megaphone and shouted, "Dormammu! Hit me! Can't even kill a human, and you still won't admit that matter is the best choice?"
Dormammu was busy coping with his own sister, how could he pay attention to a human as small as a mosquito? Hearing Deathstroke's shout, he finally found the tiny figure.
He almost laughed out of anger; the human who had been blown away by the shock wave for thousands of meters didn't die, yet he had no right to make a scene here, did he?
He casually blew a breath, the typhoon-like airflow sent Su Ming swirling around, and he sneered contemptuously:
"Scram, insect!"
"Hit me! Haha, you can't hit me, loser! Just kill yourself; killing you would dirty my sword." But within a few seconds, Deathstroke, with a smug look, flew back, hovering in front of Dormammu, the manifested eyes showing disdain.
Behind Su Ming, Omar was speechless. She couldn't understand what Deathstroke was doing. Wasn't there a better way to court death?
In reality, Dormammu didn't care about Deathstroke. The opponent had the Time Gem; he knew he couldn't kill him. Since his body was now gigantic, the tiny weapon in the opponent's hand posed no threat, so why bother?
So he suddenly turned his head and opened his mouth, spewing out a purple energy beam that seemed to crack planets. It was a cosmic-level ray attack, with energy dense like liquid, hundreds of meters thick, and undoubtedly hit Deathstroke.
The purple light flashed, and Deathstroke vanished, the beam carrying him like a meteor disappearing into the horizon.
Dormammu didn't even look, continuing to fight Omar, his giant fists pummeling Omar into retreating constantly, causing space to start shaking.
"Is this the help you've found? A humble human thief? Flesh is nothing before us!" Whilst punching, and each punch contained spatial energy, he tried verbally to shake his sister's resolve.
Omar glanced in the direction of Deathstroke's disappearance, slightly worried. But thinking that if they failed this time, she might never see Olini again, she charged fiercely back at Dormammu.
............
What about Su Ming at this time? He was directly hit out of the Dark Dimension by Dormammu, flying at an incredible speed in the Split Domain, the scenery beside him transformed into red and green rays of light. One can imagine the speed.
He braced the giant sword against his chest, blocking the energy beam like withstanding a tsunami, the high-concentration dark energy continuously eroding the material composition of him and Strangulation. This was double pain, with both the host and symbiote gritting their teeth persistently.
But this wasn't the problem. As he spat blood, he kept using the cloak to adjust his backward direction, flying purposefully into the distance.
Dormammu still took the bait, the plan succeeded.
Purposely acting fearless was to lure Dormammu into contemplating the Time Gem issue, making him figure out a way to 'expel' him.
'Killing someone living in looped time is meaningless; better to eject him from the Dark Dimension, let him drift like a comet in the Split Domain for a few years.'
That was probably Dormammu's thought at the time.
At that time, he wasn't facing Deathstroke alone; he was also engaged with Omar in battle. It was unrealistic to concentrate on catching a mosquito, and any spatial powers would be countered by his sister, making no sense.
So both melee and magic were ineffective. As a dimensional demon god and energy entity, his remaining options were various energy projection methods.
Su Ming initially worried he would use forms of energy like spacequake or black smoke, which would be unfavorable for the subsequent plan. Unexpectedly, Dormammu was so cooperative, immediately using beams containing dark dimensional energy.
So even though he spat out internal organ fragments, he kept thinking, filled with pleasure. The physical pain seemed much lessened.
He turned his head to look back; it was hard to recognize in high-speed movement, but a bright spot in the distance was one of Dormammu's neighbors, Safelos City in the Order Dimension.
Having seen it, Su Ming tried to control the reversing direction, allowing the energy beam to carry him toward that bright light.
The backup plan was like this: when small-scale battle isn't enough to eliminate Dormammu, stir things as big as possible, ideally triggering a full-scale war in the Split Domain, using chaos to his advantage.
After all, as long as Earth is preserved, it doesn't matter if the benefits come later.
With a smile on his face, he was swept by the massive energy pillar, smashing hard into the outer wall of Safelos City like swatting a mosquito.
The dimension is named this way because Oshtur commanded her clans to build a fortress mimicking Earth humans, the entire dimension as a bastion to block Dormammu's expansion. The dimension's border was towering, cloud-reaching white walls.
The East Star Goddess Oshtur was also called the Bird Goddess, her clans created lifeforms, the Asura and Safura races, resembling white and cyan birds, with human-like trunks and legs, but bird wings as upper limbs and bird-like heads.
Su Ming once watched "The Return of the Condor Heroes" from the '80s, and these races were like the mystical condors in tokusatsu suits, bipedal half-human-half-bird creatures.
They never leave here, but thanks to their main god's stance, these big birds maintain a friendly attitude towards humans. However, if someone accidentally lands here, they'll probably be frightened insane upon seeing their visages.
Before the energy beam even hit the city walls, a sentinel saw this attack with Dormammu's signature style, and alarm bells rang through the dimension.
Even Su Ming heard the strange bird calls reverberating; eerily, he understood their meaning, perhaps as some benefit of being the spokesperson of the Master Vishanti's main dimension.
"Dormammu is attacking! Warriors, prepare for battle! For Emperor Vishanti!"
The energy hit the wall, taking several seconds to dissipate completely, leaving a radial circle of black smoke.
Aside from his head, Su Ming's entire body became flat as paper, sliding down from the wall to the ground, Strangulation frantically repairing his body.
After barely recovering mobility after more than ten seconds, the collision between same-level energy almost expelled his organs.
"Really strong, cough cough..." He commanded Strangulation to turn himself completely white, leaning against the wall, catching his breath, adjusting to the new lungs' function. Seeing birdmen with fiery flame weapons circling, he immediately formed the triangular hand seal representing Emperor Vishanti with both hands: "Guys, it's me, I'm here to share good news, Dormammu is fighting with his sister!"
