Savage Man

After returning from the imperial palace, I just sat on my balcony, drunk. I don't know how many bottles of wine were strewn about—what was clear was that I was drunk, and I didn't care anymore.

How could that damn Crown Prince refuse my offer? Oh, Crown Prince Diones Von D'Glazia! Are you waving a war flag against me?

As I was about to take a sip from the bottle, I realized it was empty. I snickered in annoyance and lay down, staring at the sky.

Now, what should I do?

That damn man refused to cancel the wedding. With all sorts of unreasonable explanations—and all of them, they were incredibly annoying. He said I fulfilled all the requirements for a Queen Consort.

Okay... I did describe Luisa as the daughter of a Duke. She obviously received a high-class aristocratic education, along with all kinds of training without discrimination.

Furthermore, I also wrote that Luisa was a very charming woman. I made Luisa's aura perfectly balanced against her cruel, verbal and oppressive attitude towards the main character.

"Luisa, what's wrong with you?"

Hearing that voice, I looked away. Was this the time to bother me? Seriously... just dealing with one Crown Prince was already draining me today.

"Big brother, a learned noble wouldn't enter a room without knocking."

Yes, it was Luisa's second brother. He had a handsome face, hair similar to mine, except his irises were a bright violet.

"Then, is it appropriate for a Lady to hold an alcoholic party like this? You'll soon be Crown Princess, and yet you're acting like this. Is there a problem?"

I sighed. "I wanted to cancel the wedding, but the Crown Prince wouldn't grant my request at all."

"What did you say? Cancel the wedding? Weren't you the one who proposed the marriage?"

I wanted to punch this man's shocked face. Could he stop acting like a reporter? I'd just stated my wishes, and he should be supporting me, not questioning me like an investigator. How annoying!

"Answer me, Luisa. How could you suddenly want to cancel everything? Father has already sided with the Crown Prince. Our family has already entered the political arena to strengthen its position on the throne."

Really... I never intended for this annoying man to appear this intensely. Why is everything I've written so messed up? In my original script, he was a calm, understanding, and rarely-talkative older brother.

By Neptune. I'd rather be sent to hell than be trapped here.

I took a deep breath for a moment, then exhaled slowly. I didn't want to bring up the marriage anymore, but I also couldn't keep hoping for a peaceful life after becoming Empress.

"He doesn't love me. So, why marry him? He's not the only man in this world. There's still my eldest brother, my second brother... and my father."

That answer may sound off-the-cuff, but I was just saying it casually. This selfish Luisa suddenly thinking about her own feelings? It's beyond the bounds of my world's Milky Way galaxy.

"You love him. That's enough."

"Do all men think that? If only women love, then they're stupid."

"You said it yourself."

"I don't want to marry that barbaric Crown Prince."

"Where did the perfect noble you've always been so proud of go, Luisa?"

"He's probably dead, Sis."

Gosh... can you stop asking me questions? It's so annoying.

"Okay. Wait for Father and Eldest Brother to return. You can tell him all your wishes then."

"When will they return?"

"The day before your wedding."

The sky felt like it was falling. "How could that be? Are you kidding me?"

"They're on duty in the Linion region. That's the duty of a Landlord."

Huh... I never wrote a scene like this in the novel. But why is it happening here? This is a world I created myself, but it feels like a nightmare I can't stop.

Just as I was about to speak, my body was suddenly lifted up. I was shocked and immediately looked at the man who did it.

"Big Brother! Put me down!"

"You're drunk, Luisa. You should go to sleep. I understand you're nervous about the wedding. Just stay calm until Father and Eldest Brother return."

"I'm not drunk! Put me down! Quick!"

"If you continue to be noisy and disobedient, I'll call the Crown Prince. I'll have your wedding completely canceled."

"Put you down! Call that annoying Crown Prince if I dare!"

"Are you daring me?"

"No!"

"Then obey. I know you're acting like this because your feelings for the Crown Prince are growing deeper."

"No! I don't want to marry him!"

"Oh, Luisa... I'll call your fiancé soon. He needs to know his bride-to-be is very drunk."

"BIG BROTHER!"

His laughter erupted. This man truly thought I was hesitating.

Arrrgghhh... Poor Luisa. How many times have you told me how much you love that bastard Crown Prince?

I'm sorry, Luisa. Can you return to your body and I'll get out of here? This suffering is too much. I'm sorry for torturing you. But no matter how much I beg, no one will grant my request.

"Go to sleep, Luisa. You're very drunk. It's bad for your health. Even if you're feeling depressed before the wedding, don't do something stupid like getting drunk."

He laid me on the bed, pulled the blanket, and tucked me in neatly.

"Big Brother loves you. Sleep well. Don't think negatively. Even if the Crown Prince doesn't love you yet, you must still fight to win his heart. Many political marriage couples end up falling in love after marriage. You can do it."

"Where did you read that romance novel? There are no such guarantees in the real world, Big Brother."

"Aren't you the one who collects books like that? You've only read a few of yours."

What?

Luisa reads such magical books?

This was beyond my expectations. I've never written anything like that in my novels.

"Good night."

Luisa's second sister kissed my forehead. Her touch felt so warm. How lucky Luisa was to have a family like this, but foolishly she had stepped into the gates of hell.

After kissing my forehead, the lights went out. Only the nightlight remained dimly lit, and the man quietly left the room.

Right. My head felt much better in bed. The calm atmosphere and soft light made my body feel lighter.

Could it be that if I slept, I'd return to my world?

Ugh...

Stupid! I'm already dead there. And if I left Luisa's body, I'd surely face the grim reaper.

My sins would be counted one by one. Including the sin of torturing so many characters in her novel.

Never mind. I guess I really need some sleep. Hopefully, when I wake up, I'll have a brilliant idea to escape this political marriage.

Hopefully...

But why can't I sleep? When I close my eyes, the image of the Crown Prince kissing my lips just pops into my head.

"Diones Von D'Glazia! I'll kill you!" I take a deep breath. "YOU DAMNED CROWN PRINCE, YOU BASTARD, I REALLY HATE YOU!"

Hah... I finally screamed. It felt so good. Even though I was out of breath, there was an incredible sense of satisfaction in cursing that savage man.
