From the Author
And just like that, Volume One has come to an end. I'll explain where you can find Volume Two below, but first, there is something I really want to say.
I'm genuinely incredibly happy that you have been reading this story all this time. Every chapter, every comment, every Power Stone, every review, every person who added the novel to their library and came back for the next update — all of that is part of the reason I kept posting here.
And an especially huge thank-you goes to the readers who supported me on Patreon. Volume Two has actually been releasing there for quite a while already, in case some of you didn't know.
There are a few people whose support went far beyond anything I could reasonably expect(...were there from the very beginning...) and I want to mention them separately:
Kylan Trinh
Grabbott
Blackwolf.98
Evelyn
Anooby
66835
Seriously, thank you. That level of support means a ridiculous amount to me.
And, of course, I want to thank every other Patreon supporter who helped keep this story going:
Madara121, Kathryn Michaelis, RenXabexTsukiro, venux, Verfi, Akumo, Greed, Henry vdk, Winterage, LMR, and Cash.
Whether you supported for one month or stayed for long time, whether you joined recently or have been there for a long time — thank you. You directly helped me continue working on this story.
I also absolutely have to mention the readers who kept throwing Power Stones at this novel here on Webnovel.
Here is the Top 30 among those who supported the story however they could:

Thank you, all of you.
I know clicking that little Power Stone button may not feel like much, but when hundreds of chapters are being translated, edited, posted, and worked on over months, seeing the same names continue to appear is something you notice.
And while we're talking about Webnovel readers, I also want to thank everyone who left positive reviews.
The novel's rating took a pretty brutal hit after the chapters around the 70s. Some readers clearly decided that the direction of the story wasn't for them and left — which is completely fine — but those of you who stayed, continued reading, left thoughtful reviews, and supported the story afterwards helped a lot.
Thank you for sticking with it.
I also know that for quite some time I haven't been answering nearly as many comments as I used to(But it seems I've turned things around lately). That doesn't mean I don't read them.
I do.
And some of your reactions genuinely make me laugh.
There have been plenty of times when I've been sitting there reading your theories, arguments, reactions to Arcturus doing something questionable, memes, complaints, predictions, or completely unhinged discussions in the comments and just smiling at the screen.
Even when I don't reply, know that I see far more of it than you might think.
So... Where Is Volume Two?
Volume Two already published as a separate book on Webnovel.
I made that decision deliberately.
Volume One became very large and very long, and I understand that seeing a novel with such a massive chapter count can immediately scare away new readers. Because of that, I tried to make the beginning of Volume Two somewhat more self-contained, so that new readers can at least give the story a chance without first staring at an enormous wall of chapters.
That said, it is still a direct continuation.
You can begin there, but without reading Volume One, you obviously won't understand the characters, relationships, history, magic, politics, and everything else to the same degree.
For everyone who has already made it this far, though...
the story continues there immediately.
You'll find the link to Volume Two in the comments, and it will also be available through my profile.
