She said the Lord is no tyrant and treats the people fairly, but advancement had come to a standstill ever since the last Baron of Morvane died; there have been no new mines built, no new Houses have been built and everything seems monotone.
After listening to some more of what she had to say, Alex thanked her and walked out of the tavern.

Since then a few hours have gone by. He was sitting in the study and looked at every income and expense that comes in and out of his family. He almost died of exhaustion because he couldn't understand what he was reading but after a while he understood everything thanks to his talent, of course. After reading through it all, he needed some fresh air. He walked to the training grounds, picked a sword, and started swinging. He tried a few moves he saw from the knights After training for a few minutes.After a while the system chimed in.
