Chapter 40 - Aunt Vivian

At this moment, his kill count had reached 91 and there was still one house he hadn't gone into yet.

Cracking his neck and moving his shoulders, he headed toward it, no longer bothering to use the talisman.

On the other side of the street, Jack and Henry stared at Max in shock.

A while ago, they had noticed a figure sneaking into one of the houses they were watching. At first, they thought he was one of the enemy group.

However, when he came out and went into the next and then next, they finally paid him attention and soon recognized him.

Immediately, Henry was filled with rage and wanted to shoot him because he thought Max was colluding with the enemy. However, Jack stopped him and told him to take a better look.

When he did, he noticed Max's knife dripping with blood and the realization of what Max was doing hit him, sending cold chills down his spine.

"Do you think… he really killed them all?" He asked Jack, feeling his throat dry up.
