Not to mention having two at once.
"It's really an honor to battle against your Pikachu, Ash. Sparky, we have to do our best, let's not let Ash and Pikachu look down on us!"
"Pika Pika!!"
Sparky stood on all fours, the red electric sacs on its face flashing lightly with electricity, its expression full of fighting spirit.
From the opposing Pikachu, he sensed a powerful aura, definitely not just an ordinary Pikachu. His own Trainer had mentioned it, the opponent is a very strong rival.
Just in time, it's been a while since he encountered a formidable opponent within his own species, what doesn't defeat him makes him stronger!!
"Sparky, use Quick Attack!"
"Pika!!"
On Ah Hong's command, Sparky moved his limbs, his body flickered, darting continuously across the field, even leaving afterimages!
The dizzying image of the yellow mouse flashed continuously on the field, making it impossible for anyone to catch its silhouette.
However, that speed in Ash and Pikachu's eyes is just average. Ash's Eye of Insight had already seen through the opponent's data, Professional Middle Level, and most ability values were above B, with Speed at A.
These ability values and Level are already quite excellent for a Pikachu, but compared to his Pikachu, it's still somewhat lacking.
Even some knowledgeable people in the audience nodded in agreement when they saw Sparky Pikachu's movements, this speed ranks among the top in Professional Middle Level, comparable even to Professional Senior Level speed-type Pokemon.
Yet, facing the opponent's swift offensive, Ash showed no tendency to have Pikachu defend.
"No action? Don't underestimate my Pikachu! Sparky, use that speed for a Tackle attack!"
Upon hearing this, Sparky's speed increased by another notch, while a force gathered on his petite body, creating a shrill noise in the surrounding air!
With the combination of two skills, Sparky on the field was so fast, even his shadow was invisible, the next moment, Sparky appeared behind Pikachu, his small body unleashed unparalleled power, tackling Pikachu.
"Bang!" A muffled sound echoed in the arena, Ash's Pikachu was not knocked away, but stood firm, its tail turned to a metallic hue blocking behind it.
All of Sparky's power hit Pikachu's Iron Tail but did not move Pikachu one bit.
Instead, Sparky who initiated the attack was thrust back by his own immense force, retreating over ten meters.
Ah Hong's eyes widened, seemingly finding it hard to believe the sight before him. Such swift attack not only didn't harm the opponent but caused self-damage on his own Pikachu, how could this be?
Moreover, how did the opponent accurately predict Sparky's position behind him without looking, did he have eyes on his back?
And that metallic-hued tail, was it Iron Tail? Couldn't clearly see how it was used!
Though there was only one collision, Ash's Pikachu had already left Ah Hong in speechless awe.
"Pikachu, let's also use Quick Attack!" Ash's voice rang out and as soon as the words fell, Pikachu vanished instantly on the field.
Sparky barely had time to react before feeling a terrifying force, his body was like a meteor, knocked backward!
Ah Hong only felt a gust pass by, followed by a resounding boom behind him! As he turned, Sparky was already embedded in the wall, like being nailed by a hammer!
The situation turned in a flash. Sparky initiated the attack but was countered and slammed into the wall outside the field.
The Quartz Conference has a rule, if a Pokemon leaves the field, it counts as a loss, but this only applies to voluntarily leaving. If knocked out by the opponent, returning within ten seconds won't count as losing combat ability.
However, judging Sparky's condition, it's unlikely he'll return within ten seconds, even waking up soon is uncertain.
"Ah... Ah Hong's Pikachu is unable to battle! Ash's Pikachu wins!"
The referee, briefly stunned, finally came to and raised the flag, announcing the match result.
He possesses the professionalism of a referee, won't blank out under any circumstances unless the affair is too outrageous!
Originally, he thought this match would be intense; however, it ended in mere seconds. Could this really be the Quartz Conference's top thirty-two clash? It felt more like an Elite Four facing a regular Trainer, Ah Hong couldn't even fight back!
As the referee made the announcement, Ah Hong and the surrounding spectators awoke from their shock.
"What the heck! What was that?!"
"Did anyone catch the move of that Pikachu?"
"Couldn't see, totally couldn't see!"
"Is that Quick Attack? Isn't this Extreme Speed?! Whose Quick Attack has such speed!"
"Before, during Pikachu's appearance, how much restraint did it show? That's not restraint, it's releasing a whole ocean!"
"This is Ash's true power, Pikachu's strength is truly not just rumors."
"No kidding, how can one cultivate a Pikachu to such a degree? Is this cheat mode?"
"Instantly defeats a professional level, is this Ash's real power?"
"Anyone catch Pikachu's Level?"
"Didn't see, too fast... Could it have reached Elite Level?! Ash didn't seem to use any augmentation method, casual Pikachu achieving Elite Level? Are you kidding?!"
"..."
The noisy chatter echoed throughout the venue, some screaming Ash's name, some couldn't believe what happened, others questioning if anyone saw Pikachu's actions, and what Level it is?
Numerous questions, cheers, exclamations, surged throughout the field, while Ah Hong quietly recalled his Pikachu.
The gap between the two was even larger than he imagined. Originally, he thought Sparky might hold his own against Ash's Pikachu, only to be instantly defeated without even catching a glimpse of the opponent's shadow.
Comparing their Quick Attack speed, his was like a turtle crawl, whereas the opponent's was truly like lightning.
This is Ash's true strength, those previous battles were just for fun.
Ash's statement about using true power this time clearly wasn't just polite talk. Winning is likely harder than climbing to the heavens, but having come this far, how could he give up?!
Ah Hong's somewhat dispirited gaze reignited with flame upon meeting Ash's vibrant gaze, he can't let Ash down!
"You're really amazing, Ash. Maybe the gap between us is like a gulf, but I still won't give up. No matter the difference, I'll always believe in my Pokemon!"
Upon hearing this, Ash nodded excitedly: "That's the spirit Ah Hong, let's enjoy this battle!"
"Um! Next up is my second, I'm counting on you, Zane!" With a flash, a mighty Charizard appeared on the field!
This Pokemon is Ah Hong's Starter Pokemon, also one of his two trump cards along with Sparky!
