Yawn! I woke up the next morning after a good night's sleep. When I opened my eyes, I saw the sun rising in the east, spreading its light across the world. The sunlight swept through the dense forest canopy and fell on my scales, making my ashen white scales glow with a hint of gold.
I sometimes wonder if this fantasy world shares many similarities with Earth. It has only one moon and one sun, which rises in the east. Maybe it is really a parallel version of Earth.
I crawled down from the tree, stretched a bit, and looked around. I saw Roman fetching buckets of water from the nearby pond. I wondered where he got those buckets; perhaps he carried them in his spatial storage.
I didn't see Lu Xiaoran. Maybe he was still sleeping. I need to create a proper schedule for him, as he can't sleep in the late morning. I'll forgive today's matter since it is his first day. With that thought, I moved towards the nearby pond that Roman had made. I needed to drink some water and take a good bath to shake off my drowsiness. There, I saw Lu Xiaoran changing his clothes after his bath.
This time, I got a clear view of his body. Although his injuries had healed, marks remained all over him. Some were old, and some were new, but the most noticeable one was on his left chest. It stretched from his neckline down through his upper stomach.
As I was observing him, he finally noticed me, bowed, and said, "Good morning, Master."
"Good morning, Disciple. I hope you are ready because I'm going to start our first teaching session. You should be prepared."
He replied, "Yes, Master. I'm fully ready for today's class."
"Okay, then go sit in front of the tree where you sat yesterday. I'll come to you soon."
After hearing my words, he hurriedly changed into a new orange robe since his previous clothes were damaged. He then started walking toward his destination.
Once he walked away, I dove into the pond. Although I told Roman to make a small pond, he created a medium-sized one, which was enough for me to swim. After swimming for a bit, I drank some water and walked toward the hut that Roman built yesterday. I saw him writing something in his diary. Not wanting to disturb him, I shifted my focus to the large tree in front of me. There sat Lu Xiaoran, looking very serious.
I reached him, sat down, and said, "Disciple, today is your first class, and I will teach you the basics of the power systems in this world." He listened expectantly. "If you have any questions, please ask them after I finish my explanation."
He nodded, and I began explaining topics like the laws of thermodynamics. I then discussed the four fundamental forces. After that, I explained "Force X" and "Energy X," and how they manipulate all other energies and forces. They are the reason this world is a fantasy world, and the current power systems are based on them.
Afterward, I asked, "Disciple, did you understand? If not, feel free to ask me to explain again."
He replied, "Master, I fully understand the concept of "Energy X," which we call spiritual energy, but I still have doubts about "Force X" since it is not well-researched in our world."
"Disciple, that's a good question. The reason "Force X" is not well-studied is that anyone with consciousness can easily harness it. They do not need to cultivate it like spiritual energy. Consider this: it is something all the inhabitants of this world have, so no one focuses on it. To explain "Force X," let's use an example. If I asked you and an ant to visualize an apple, you would win easily. But if I asked both of you to visualize an ant burrowing, the ant would win. The difference lies not in your power level but in your consciousness. Some people can solve complex math problems while others struggle with them, yet those same people may find simple life problems very challenging."
"Disciple, it is your consciousness that makes a difference, so always think of innovative ways to solve a problem."
"Now that you've completed your theory class, let's move to the next part, which is cultivation techniques. I will give you some techniques that you need to memorize and follow diligently."
Saying this, I took out four books titled:
- Nirvana Qi Refining Technique
- Chaos Titan Body Refining Technique
- Abyss Soul Refining Technique
- Omni Element Fighting Technique
- Nuclear Spirit Gathering Magic Technique
The system told me I could transfer all these techniques to Lu Xiaoran's mind, but I thought writing them in books would be more practical. I designed these techniques to be easily understandable, even for the slowest student.
I handed the books to Lu Xiaoran and said, "Disciple, practice them diligently. If you have any doubts, don't hesitate to ask me."
He began reading those books and focused on learning for five hours. Now it was afternoon, so I asked him, "Lu Xiaoran, do you understand these techniques?"
He replied, "Sorry, Master. I only managed to grasp the gist, but I will try my best."
I said, "You don't have to worry much. It's only your first day of learning, and you will eventually memorize them. But for now, it's time for your physical class. Stand up and do what I say."
After making him stand, I instructed him to do 50 push-ups, 50 squats, some dead hanging, and running. I originally planned to give him 1,000 push-ups, squats, and a 10-km run, but he is still weak. I prefer to strengthen his body gradually.
After that, I had him swing a simple tree branch a thousand times for the remainder of the time. Soon, the sun began to dip below the horizon, and the day ended.
"Disciple, you did well today. I hope you continue this. Now you're free to do what you like before bed, but remember to go to sleep before it gets too late."
With that, I ended my class. Sigh! Today was a hectic day, but I'm happy it ended successfully. Now I look forward to the next day and plan what I need to teach tomorrow.
"Host, congratulations on successfully conducting your first class. You've unlocked a new mission. Do you want to see it?"
Then the system's voice sounded. It seems I unlocked a new mission. I said to open it for me to see.
"System main mission: Complete 10 successful teaching classes with your student.
Reward: Unlock new teaching buildings, unlock system mall."
Seeing the system mission and rewards, I look forward to our upcoming classes.
