System: "Host, I really want to talk with you and explain what an outer god is, but we don't have much time. I can only tell you that an outer god entity is a threat that even the higher beings who created the system avoid. They established a protocol in every system. Once it encounters an outer god, the system must sever its connection with the main system space."
After hearing the system, I finally understood the kind of entity I faced and the threat it posed. I looked at my disciples. Both Lu Xiaoran and Roman gazed at the egg with eager expressions, expecting some exotic beast to emerge. They didn't realize the danger before them. Even the inhabitants of this world were unaware that an existential threat loomed, all because of me.
Understanding my mistake, I prepared myself. I invoked all my strength, determined to confront this unknown entity. I decided that if I couldn't defeat it, I would take it to outer space or the void. This way, my disciples and this world could survive.
But soon, the system's voice interrupted.
System: "Host, there's nothing you can do against such an entity. You will die just by hearing, seeing, or even knowing about them. They are classified as the most unpredictable entities in the known expanse."
Vik: "So what? Should I just wait for my death? Maybe my strange fire can hurt it. System, find a way to survive this situation. I'm sure we can figure something out together."
System: "Host, I'm sorry, but I can't find a way to help. Even your strange fire may not stop this entity. These beings are beyond worldly laws and are considered immortal. There is no known way to kill them. As for moving them, such entities cannot be moved until they decide to do so themselves."
Hearing this, I felt a deep sense of despair, a feeling I hadn't experienced since my parents died. I turned back to my disciples and thought about telling them to run as far as possible. But deep down, I knew once this entity arrived, nowhere in this world would be safe. So, I decided to keep them unaware of this situation.
I started to think as the egg began to vibrate more violently. It no longer needed me to supply energy; it acted like a hole in reality, absorbing any energy it encountered. Then a thought struck me. If I could reach the state of Kundalini awakening, which I had achieved before, I might solve this problem. No, I would definitely stop and defeat this entity. I remembered the feeling of supreme power I experienced in that state. The problem was I didn't know how to reach it again.
As I contemplated this, the egg vibrated even more violently before abruptly stopping. An eerie silence filled the air as I heard my heartbeat. To be honest, I was terrified. I should have listened to the system. This was my fault. First, I created that strange fire, then many strange techniques. I had grown arrogant because of my luck, forgetting about the dangers in this world.
Now, not only I faced this threat; my disciples were in danger too, all from my mistakes. Perhaps I had become too arrogant due to the powers I gained after reincarnating, but dwelling on it wouldn't help. I prepared a teleportation circle with all my strength. First, I would try to teleport the entity with me to an outer realm or space. If I failed, I would teleport my disciples to another world.
Vik: "Hey system, do you have coordinates for any other realm? I know you must have them. Please teleport my disciples to another realm if I can't contain this entity."
System: "I will do as you say, host. Thank you for being my host. I must admit, I lied when I said I had a 4.5-star rating. You are my first host. I only said that to bond with you. I didn't know I would be bound to someone who likes to break taboos weekly and summon outer god entities monthly. If I had known, I would not have chosen you."
Vik: "Yes, system, I know this is my fault, but thank you for sticking with me. I truly appreciate your companionship."
System: "I also appreciate it, host. At least I have a host willing to do things that even higher beings fear. By the way, this system is genderless, but if you want, I can imitate a young woman's voice and say that I love you."
Vik: "Why would I want that?"
System: "Just asking, host. Many people, especially virgins like you, enjoy hearing female voices."
Vik: "Hah! System, you finally made a good joke. Now I can die knowing that I taught the system to crack jokes."
I started laughing. At least this odd system finally showed some humor. Soon, the silence was broken not by the egg but by my disciples.
Lu Xiaoran: "Master, how much longer will it be until the egg hatches?"
Roman: "Young master, please be patient. These things take time."
Listening to my disciples, I felt guilty for putting them in such a dangerous situation. I sighed deeply to maintain my calm. Perhaps instead of wanting an exotic space creature, I should have aimed for a normal elemental beast. Even that would be good enough.
I began to pray. "God, I know I've made mistakes, but please, if anyone is listening, help us. I promise I will never try to summon a beast again. I would rather adopt a cat from the street than try this again."
I prayed, but my pleas went unanswered. Soon, I heard a crackling sound coming from the egg. The egg, which appeared as a hole in reality, began to break. Words cannot describe this moment. I knew that something was about to emerge into this world.
System: "Host, prepare yourself. It is coming. Try not to look or hear it."
The system's voice alerted me, and I gathered as much power as I could. I summoned my fire, covering my entire body with my strange fire. Then, suddenly, a large part of the egg shattered, and a head emerged. It was so dark that it resembled the void itself. It had hair of the blackest hue, two ears, and its eyes glowed with an otherworldly green light.
And as the creature stepped out of the egg, it was a cat. A black cat. It looked at me and opened its mouth.
"Meow!!!!!!"
Vik: "System, tell me truthfully, do you fear cats?"
System: "!!!!!!!!!(*_*)!!!!"
