# Chapter 6: The XYZ Dimension Plagued by Internal and External Threats

"First, there's the Spade Academy, whose combat power is the best preserved. Their Chief, Yuto, and Shun Kurosaki, who, with him, are known as the Spade Twin Stars, initially put up some effective resistance. However, with the disappearance of Shun Kurosaki's sister, Ruri Kurosaki, they too vanished. The leaderless Spade Academy's current situation is far from optimistic."

"Then there's the Plum Blossom Academy. Their Chief, Kaito Tenjo, has been like a different person since he was severely injured that day. He abandoned his Chief status and chose to hunt down Duelists from the Academy Army alone. And the remaining students of Club Academy, despite Kaito's secret protection, are also steadily retreating."

"As for Diamond Academy, their only surviving Chief from that day, Sugihara Yo, is now completely insane. Every time we hear about him, it's that he was severely wounded and escaped after fighting a large force of the Academy Army alone. Although every time people thought he was dead, he would somehow reappear from some corner, the last time we heard from him was over a month ago. He might really be dead now."

After listening to Shinjō Katsu's description, Yūga Hōzumi slapped his forehead. "What kind of people are these?!"

A sister-complex, a lone wolf, a mad avenger, plus the original owner's reclusive nature – it's no wonder the XYZ Dimension has fallen to this state.

And according to Shinjō Katsu, Yuto and Shun have already gone to the neighboring Standard Dimension—no, perhaps they've already reached the Pendulum Dimension by now?

Yūga Hōzumi pondered for a moment, then said to Shinjō Katsu beside him, "Consolidate our forces, pack our things, and we'll depart early tomorrow morning."

"Where are we going?" Shinjō Katsu asked after nodding.

"To Spade Academy's Base. We still have time to consolidate the power of the entire Dimension. Otherwise, once Spade Academy is annihilated, it will truly be too late," Yūga Hōzumi said.

"I understand, Yūga Hōzumi." Shinjō Katsu said, then turned to gather the other Survivors.

As the de facto leader of this camp, Shinjō Katsu had no objection to Yūga Hōzumi, who was originally just the nominal Leader, taking control, because he had been Yūga Hōzumi's fanboy even before the War began. In his heart, after the Principal's sacrifice, the leader of Heart Academy should have been Yūga Hōzumi. It was just that the Principal's sacrifice had left the original owner dispirited. Now that Yūga Hōzumi had regained his spirits, Shinjō Katsu couldn't be happier.

After Shinjō Katsu left, Yūga Hōzumi found a quiet place, recalling the plot and pondering his next plan.

First, the Black Spades people must be saved. As for Yuto and Shun, that pair of lovebirds with a sister-complex, he would find a way to bring them back once things here settled down. They were among the few high-level combatants left in the entire Dimension.

Next were the Clover Faction people. Since he had to go to the Pendulum Dimension to bring back Yuto and Shun, he also needed to get Kite here to help defend the base. Otherwise, Shinjō and the rest of these children, who hadn't fully grown yet, probably wouldn't be able to hold the Base.

As for the Chief of Diamond Academy, who never even appeared in the original work and might have already died in some corner, Yūga Hōzumi had absolutely no expectations for him.

To complete the System's First Stage Main Quest, he first needed to unite all the forces of the entire Dimension, so that the Fusion Dimension's Army couldn't continue to run wild in Heartland City as they were now.

And knowing this Shitty System's usual antics, he would probably have to counter-attack the Fusion Dimension later, but with the XYZ Dimension's current Power, that was impossible.

Therefore, he needed Allies.

Speaking of Allies, although Reiji Akaba, that unfilial son from the Pendulum Dimension who wanted to make himself an orphan, shared the same stance as him, the red and green-haired guy in that Dimension made him very wary. The reason was simple: that guy was truly too unsettling. What if his own people were all brainwashed by him and spent all day just wanting to smile? How could they then Reclaim XYZ Dimension Glory?

Instead, the Synchro Dimension, which was currently neutral, was a good choice for an Ally, provided that Dimension's ruling class was replaced.

Yūga Hōzumi had always been one to think twice before acting. After finalizing his plan, his gaze turned towards the System:

All his plans required his power as support, so becoming stronger was now paramount.

His Deck was currently just a half-finished product. In today's Duel, if his first Draw hadn't been the crucial Onomatopaira, he might have already been turned into a card, and his opponent was just a Minion.

"First, the Reward for completing the first Mission node: 3 Designated Archetype Random Packs. Specify the Onomatopoeia Archetype. Open."

Three packs of Cards, nine Cards appeared in Yūga Hōzumi's hand.

After inspecting them, Yūga Hōzumi sighed. "It seems I really can't get anything good without sacrificing the Lifespan of my good boys. Out of nine Cards, only one, Dododo Draw Card, is useful."

Subsequently, Yu Ye's gaze shifted to the Shop System within the System panel, and he clicked on it.

The Shop interface was simple, with only three options: Sell, Buy, and Lucky Big Turntable. When Yūga Hōzumi wanted to see what good items were for sale in the Shop, the glaring "Gold Coins: 0" in the bottom right corner forced him to dismiss the thought. After all, out of sight, out of mind.

After entering the Sell interface, Yūga Hōzumi found that among all the things he possessed, only one could be sold: the Card that the Academy Army's vanguard had turned into earlier, worth 100 Gold Coins.

"Alright, at least I have some money now." After selling the Spoils of War, Yūga Hōzumi entered the Buy interface.

"'Designated Archetype Pack, 500 Gold Coins per pack, buy 10 and get 1 free. Full Card Pool Random Pack, 100 Gold Coins per pack, buy 10 and get 1 free… Why don't you just rob me?!'" Yūga Hōzumi cursed the Shitty System under his breath, then sullenly opened the last interface, the Lucky Big Turntable.

After entering the Turntable, Yūga Hōzumi barely glanced at the grand UR prizes listed in the prize description, such as Millennium Item, Philosopher's Stone, and UR Dream Ticket, and skillfully scrolled to the guaranteed prize section.

"'I knew this Shitty System set up this Lucky Big Turntable just to scam people. Akiza Izinski's used underwear? Something even a dog wouldn't want, and it costs 100 Gold Coins per spin?'" Yūga Hōzumi scoffed at this.

"'Fortunately, there's a free Prize Draw every day. I'll use today's.'" Yūga Hōzumi casually tapped the center of the turntable.

[Congratulations! You have received an SR-tier Reward: Broken Emperor's Key]

Yūga Hōzumi: ???

"Has this Shitty System changed its nature?" Yūga Hōzumi wondered confusedly, looking at the golden Pendant covered in cracks in his hand.

[Broken Emperor's Key (Uses: 1/1)]

[Upon use, temporarily unlocks skill: Xyz Transformation: ZEXAL First Stage]

"This Shitty System must be trying to trick me into spending money. I will absolutely not fall for it."

...

[Congratulations! You have received a UR Reward, Monster Card: Axe Raider]

[Axe Raider: A Warrior who wields an axe. Its single-handed axe attack is quite powerful, and it has accompanied the legendary Duelist Joey Wheeler through countless battles.]

Yūga Hōzumi: ...

"'Shitty System, RNM! Refund!'"

"'Why can't I control my hands?'" Yūga Hōzumi sighed.

Yūga Hōzumi exited the System, called Shinjō Katsu, and asked him to hand over all the Academy Army Cards that had been card-ified.

"'Is that all? It's only enough for one Designated Archetype 10-Gacha Pull.'" Yūga Hōzumi grumbled.

It seems Reclaiming XYZ Dimension Glory still has a very long way to go.
