Finding time for himself, Sunny stared at his runes, reading the descriptions of his attributes
[Fated]: The strings of fate wrap tightly around you. Unlikely events, both bad and good are drawn to you.
[Vitality]: You have a strong connection towards vitality. You are connected to plants and regenerate faster in their presence.
[The Heart]: You have inherited the lineage of heart. Although it's diluted through countless generations, it still beats its mark.
To say he was shocked was an understatement.
He had quite a bit to think about regarding his attributes. First of all [Fated], it seemed to be the reson he is in this predicament.
The most eye catching of the attributes was [The Heart]. Even he as an outskirts rat knew that lineages were given by the gods. And he had gotten the lineage of heart, the god of growth, memory and soul. And he already felt the effects of this attribute. He didn't feel nearly as shocked as he should, his mind is already faster and healthier then before. Even his body felt stronger, he explored the forest for half a day and wasn't even tired.
Then there was [Vitality]. It looked like it was connected to [The Heart]. Also playing around with the idea of life and nature.
While thinking about his attributes, Sunny felt as if a light illuminated parts of his mind.
'Is this a vision?' He thought, while trying to grab the light forming inside his mind.
The light expanded, like an explosion it blinded his perception of the world, filling his eyes with a view unfamiliar to him.
Animals of all sorts were running away in panic. Trees piercing heavens were set ablaze, filling the sky with a blood red color.
Some of the burning trees were falling to the ground, pushed down by a mass of darkness, whose appearance broke his mind.
A single stop created a crater crater as wide as a ten houses.
Screams of terror resounded in the forest, as another creature shouted.
"THE TWILIGHT BEAST IS COMING!" Before vanishing into darkness.
Just as the beast disappeared, a veil of darkness fell upon the forest. The darkness did not come from the shadow of the incredibly huge Twilight Beast, but beacause of destruction. The light, the sun and his vision were destroyed.
Spitting blood out of his mouth, Sunny regained all his senses before vomiting some more.
His Vision had ended. Maybe it was just coincidence that the vision ended the second everithing else was destroyed but his intuition told him otherwise.
It is said to always trust the intuition of a seer, and right now he was the seer.
Both [The Heart] and [Vitality] were fighting hard to regenerate his broken body and mind. The environment was boosting his attributes but it still took a while for Sunny to regain his composure.
"This is madness. How... how would anybody do this. What rank was then creature? Greate? Cursed? Unholy?"
'Maybe I can pin this twilight beast agains those two feather balls?' He thought while walking through bushes and between Trees.
While brainstorming ways to stop the abomination, who even managed to destroy his vision, the Sun began to set.
"Shit, I should have build a shelter."
Not having build a shelter before nightfall the child serched for a soft spot on the ground to lay. While he wasn't physically exhausted he certainly was mentally exhausted. The vision put a harder strain on his body then he had originally thought.
Overcome by tiredness he didn't care for searching and just took the first best spot he could find and slept.
In the darkness of night a lone person was laying under a tree. But soon enough a small bird the size of a fist flew toward him and landed on his sleeping body.
It was light enough not to wake the prophet and cuddled himself on his shoulder.
When the sun rose, the young man noticed the foreign bird on his shoulder and jumped up.
After his first shock he managed to calm down. It was still creepy. The first being he met after those two terrifying birds was another bird. And it sneezed to him in the night. What about that didn't seem sketchy.
Being creeped out by the bird Sunny sprinted away, trying to find those animals he saw in his vision.
'The bird is following me.' He thought while sprinting.
'But it doesn't show any intent of harming me.'
During his stay in the outskirts he learned many neat tricks. On of those is sensing killing intent. Without it he would have died long ago.
'Is it really not one of those? Is it... mundane?'
Slowing down the bird landed on his shoulder.
'It doesn't feel like those two did. I didn't sense the scale bird when it was hiding but when it showed itself I felt it's oppressive aura.'
'But this little thing is radiating nothing.'
"Are you one of those big scary featherballs little one?" He asked the bird, probing one last time.
Not receiving an answer, he accepted the bird on his shoulder and resumed his walk.
This time however it did not take long for him to find someone.
An orange rodent with a fluffy red tail and big black eyes, a quarter the size of himself with an equaly abnormal sized nut, climed down a tree and met him.
"Are you new in this forest?" it asked.
"Have the Birds let you in?"
"Why did they let you in?"
"It had been long since they had let anyone in."
This time too, Sunny heard screams and screeches whose meaninge forcibly entered his mind.
'Is this an ability of the spell? I know that it translates runes and the languages of humans but i have never heard of thespell translating animal sounds.'
Still, the voice of the rodent was too enthusiastic, and too energetic.
Recovering from the shock of a human child sized rodent talking to him, Sunny answered slowly. "Ah yes, they did let me in. The big black round one personally greeted me. But im still new here my friend, would you mind telling me a bit about this forest we are in?
