Chapter 3 - SOIREE AT THE HETLORES

In the huge mansion of Hetlores , carriages stod out . A soiree was held , men and women dressed beautifully and elegantly holding glasses of wine . A woman in mid sixties with brown hairs , Mrs. Hetlore stood with four ladies one being her own daughter "... Miss.Floria it is good to have you here thank you for coming here " the woman with shiny crystal amethyst eyes and blond hairs taller than Mrs.Hetlore replied "it's an honor to be here Mrs. Hetlore "

Mr.Hetlores was the one of the respected as well as wealthy as he was one of the ministers in the palace who worked for the king . It was indeed an fortunate thing to be invited to their soiree . Floria was nowhere related to the palace it was just at the time she came to be acquaintant to the lady as she had happened to help her in the market and to add more to it she knew her parents too.

Flora continued "hope your doing good now , the last I heard that you weren't feeling well from Miss. Cameal "the women replied with a sweet smile "oh dear I'm doing good now that Morvel is here it's all good the physician said there's nothing to worry about it must be the old age catching up. I was expecting Mrs. Sapion but only that she had to visit her parents , how are they doing now " that was true humans were too fragile they have a short life chain out of all the creatures living on the land now. Morvel and Arial were the childrens the Hetlore where the Morvel was tall handsome as well as mature elder one , Arial being the younger and spoiled one . "It was an unfortunate call grandmother seems have I'll health and the doctor has suggested her rest "

Even though the lady was good to Floria it didn't kept her from being guarded and causious especially from the spoiled one who had a sharp tongue. " So Miss . Floria hope you are enjoying the soiree" came the sweet words from the little snake "yes Miss. Aria , its wonderful being here with you" she said with an composed smile irking Arial she had dealed with lots of arrogant people like Arial who are up to nothing but look down upon and bully them . "You children have fun I'll see you around" Mrs. Hetlore said taking her leave to greet others . Floria who was expecting nothing good from the ladies she stood with heard them say " I don't know what was mother thinking inviting some abhorrent people " Floria knew whom it was for . Women named Navoial laughed at Arials words while she decided to ignore their remarks with subtle smile .

She heard a vampiress coming towards them say " People of same rung recognize each other , what do you say Miss. Hetlore "came the sharp reply from the vampress. The vampiress had brown hair and hazel green eyes she wore a beautiful peach colored gown of heavy, rich fabric with raised designs woven into it, featuring floral or scroll patterns. It was ostentatious gown often wore by the riches and the lady was indeed rich she was the daughter of the Duke ...Duke Charles Montanore . Arials face went pale before greeting the lady with an awkward smile "lady Salvia, good evening an absolute honor to have you here " she said hoping to brush off the matter of words took place few seconds ago but the vampiress seemed to have different plans to probably feed her amusement. "Good evening Miss. Hetlore , you are right there are some abhorrent people here . What do you say"came sarcastic words from the vampiress.

Floria could sense the tension in the air getting heavier passing seconds as she found Arial with sweat on her forehead. The lady here seemed to have hard time getting along with the young Hetlore . To the fact that the vampires were always hostile towards humans and vice versa but this one seems to more at the plane compared to the other vampires who don't even consider to pull on the conversation as if not even worth .

"Good evening lady Montanore , its honor meeting you " Navoial spoke trying to ease the atmosphere but the vampiress didn't seem to buy it instead questioned with disinterest "Do I know you miss..." Navoial turned red out of embarrassment and said "Navoial ....Navoial Spacer friend of Miss. Arial ,lady" the vampiress hummed in response.

As if being fed up by their nonsense the vampiress turned towards Floria "Good evening Miss Floria " Floria a little stunned to be known to the vampiress whom she was meeting for the very first time yet she kept her self composed smiling politely replied "A very good evening lady Salvia" the vampiress knowing her name that told her soon in future the trouble might knock on her door "I have heard about a lot about you from Miss. Glover looking forward to be friends with you "Glover..Natalie Glover a good friend of Floria , never in her life she would have thought the dukes daughter to be friends with daughter of a Baron . Floria has been friends with Natalie since few years , she initially did so only to keep the taps of the royal things to stand far away from it but the kind heart of the girl broke the guarded wall spilling out a few things, she has heard of the Dukes daughter being generously righteous "like with lady Salvia"

Floria played along wanting to keep this talk only to acquaintance as Natalie has told her how the Dukes were closely associated with the royals and how not to trust one even if sweet as a sugar candy. But now that the Vampiress was herself forwarded her hand it would be dangerous to refuse to face her wrath.

Both the girls excused themselves while the vampiress talking to her "rest assured they won't dare to trouble you anymore " vampiress said with an radiant smile as if found lots of gold. " thank you so much lady Salvia for the help"the vampiress refused swaying her hand and said " I have heard a lot about you from Natalie, I had been meaning to thank you for a long time " hearing this Floria kinted her brows together for the vampiress to continue " you might not remember but the day of the hallow the dog you returned was mine" Now this was getting patchy she never trusted vampiress not that she any other creature. All this year's if what Floria learned is to stay stark clear of not trusting anyone. Vampires were cunning, untrustworthy as well as crazy with no regard to what the did.
