Rowan's POV
"What do you mean she's still breathing?" Rowan's jaw clenched as he stared at Eileen.
"Intelligence came in," Eileen's voice carried an edge of desperation. "Reports confirm she's with Hardy. Very much alive."
Rowan's expression darkened. "And why should Faye be my priority right now?"
"She should have died by now!" Eileen's composure cracked, her voice climbing higher. "How is she still walking around?"
"Our pack just survived a massacre," Rowan snapped, his patience wearing thin. "And you're obsessing over Faye? Everyone knows she's living on borrowed time. Hardy won't let her see another sunrise, just like he destroyed his previous bride. Stop wasting energy on a corpse and focus on the chaos surrounding us."
Eileen's muscles tensed, but she held her ground.
"We cannot allow Faye to survive," she hissed between clenched teeth.
