Chapter 16 - Chapter 16: Ten Million Points

Wanda. Wanda!

If there were two women who could capture his heart in the Marvel Universe, it would be Wanda Maximoff and Jean Grey—the two most dangerously beautiful powerhouses ever born.

Jean Grey in Dark Phoenix had been godlike—pure destruction wrapped in beauty. And Wanda, the Scarlet Witch who ripped Thanos apart in Avengers: Endgame, was no less awe-inspiring.

If it hadn't been for the director forcing Tony to do the finger snap, that purple grape would've been torn to atoms by her.

And now, the woman sitting in front of him… was actually her.

Leo's heart pounded. "Wanda! You're a gift from destiny! From now on, I'll protect your world!"

His declaration was loud, proud, and completely sincere.

Wanda's cheeks flushed, her heartbeat quickening under his gaze.

"Who needs you to protect me?" she huffed, avoiding his eyes. "We were just… quenching our thirst. After that, I'm kicking you out."

Leo smirked. "Tough talk, huh? Let's see about that."

He started the engine. "So, nobody's home, right?"

"If you're asking about Pietro… that idiot ran off somewhere," she muttered, trying to sound calm—but her nerves betrayed her.

Leo grinned. Perfect.

A few minutes later, they pulled up to her place. Wanda hesitated at the door, glancing back. "Maybe we should… forget it. You can go home."

Leo chuckled. "You backing out now?"

"No! Are you chickening out?" she shot back, glaring fiercely to hide her embarrassment.

"Me? Chicken out?" Leo raised an eyebrow, then swept her into his arms and kicked the door open.

From there, everything blurred.

The faint scent of wine mixed with heat and adrenaline as their restraint vanished. Every tossed item along the way marked their trail to the bedroom.

Under the soft lights, Wanda looked breathtaking. Leo passed her a bottle of water, and she took a long gulp, her lips glistening.

So, this is what it feels like, she thought, dazed.

The room quieted. No words—only the rhythm of two heartbeats aligning.

And then—

[Ding! Congratulations to the host for greatly changing Wanda's destiny. Reward: 10,000,000 points!]

Leo froze. "What!!! Ten million points?! Destroyer System, you're not screwing with me, are you?"

Wanda, startled, pinched his waist hard.

"Ah—ouch!" he yelped, though it barely hurt. He exaggerated a grimace anyway, earning a satisfied little smile from her.

Once Wanda dozed off, Leo sank into the System interface.

"System, explain. Why so much?"

[Replying to host. By changing Wanda Maximoff's fate, you have permanently altered the trajectory of the Marvel Universe.]

[As one of the universe's chosen prodigies, every decision and action of Wanda affects countless lives.]

[By preventing her tragic destiny, you have caused multiple major timelines to shift.]

[The ten million points awarded are fully compliant with the Destroyer System's balance calculations.]

Leo's eyes gleamed. "So, the stronger the person I change, the bigger the reward, huh?"

[Correct.]

Leo grinned wide. "Then I'm gonna be rich. There are so many heavy hitters in Marvel."

He couldn't help but laugh. Wanda alone had earned him ten million points—just imagine what he could get for changing the fates of the real monsters in this universe.

He looked down at the sleeping girl in his arms, soft and peaceful.

Who would believe that this delicate beauty would one day be capable of rewriting reality itself?

Her potential was terrifying. In the comics, when she broke, she'd uttered one line—"No more superpowers."

And with that, over 99% of mutants lost their abilities. Sorcerers, Inhumans, even enhanced humans like Captain America and Hulk—gone. The world was stripped bare overnight.

That was the Scarlet Witch's power. The movies barely scratched the surface.

Leo brushed a strand of hair from her cheek, his eyes glowing faintly.

"Looks like fate really does favor me," he whispered. "Wanda… your Chaos Magic is mine now, too."

He smiled softly.

The girl who once destroyed worlds was now curled up in his arms.

And the man holding her?

He was just getting started.
