Though he got it handed to him when he met Rose in the midterms. Even still, that didn't humble him, he kept provoking the main cast throughout the second volume. He felt inferior to the main cast so much that he ended up becoming a heretic.
In the end though, he eventually died just like every third rate villain, except he died without even being able to scratch any of the main casts.
