Listening to Kihas' advice, Riel takes a big sigh, breathing in and out, then
"Do you have aby idea where the kids could be, I have a feeling they couldn't have gone far on their own besides their just kids" she says, her voice toning down to that of worry.
"Do you seriously think that..."
"Be quiet Kiha, this does not concern you" his says, His eyes glaring over to her dark, with no affection. He the faces over to riel who he's still grabbing
"Is that all?" he asks
"Huh, yes that's all. Was i suppose to ask of something else" Riel asks confused
Letting go of his grip on Riel, Lustre sighs almost like he was disappointed "No, I don't and if i did I would've gotten them back. Besides I don't have the ..."
"Time to waste on them, right. Since your so busy" Riel says her voice with a bit of spank to it " If you don't mind. I'll be taking my leave" she says
Days Later
The search for the twins go and on, but so does the preparations and date of the wedding draw nearer and nearer.
The elephant in the house had gotten large almost sucking up all the oxygen leaving only an awkward silence and tension left.
Riel continues her search alone, no longer involving Lustre in it, she blamed herself with every passing minute of time hoping that the twins would be ok.
Staring up at the night sky above.
She sees a luxurious car parking up to the mansions entrance, The beauty and porch of the car reflected brightly under the light of the moon, she could tell it was worth thousands that she couldn't earn in a week.
She had always thought the Lockes' were the richest family around but it seems not and yet it was hard to believe.
Taking a closer glance of the parked vehicle, it looked oddly familiar under the dim glow of the moon.
She rushes out of her room to get a better look, arriving at the hall. Walking towards the entrance, she halts at the image before her. ALEX?!
It was rare seeing him here especially considering the relationship between the brothers aren't good, But still if he was here it meant something's going on.
A smirk grows on Alex face as he spots Riel, He waves at her giving a reassuring smile, then walks over to her.
"Riel" he says his voice excited, No more like delighted.
Walking up to her with elegance and pose in his steps, his hair swishes from place to place with the pace of his movement, his long eyelashes fluttering like wings of butterflies and all the most, the mole beside his eyes only made him all the more seductive.
Damn, this brothers really are on a whole other level of Handsomeness and beauty, I guess looks runs through their vein cause they were obviously blessed with them.
Stopping in front of her, he grins,
"Riel!!, how'ya doing?" he says his voice elated. He seems almost too happy in this moments.
Riel gave an awkward smile, not knowing how to react with such happiness, she almost felt bad.
"You can't have a guest waiting now, can you?" he says
Feeling uneasy, she leads him to the Living room to take a seat.
Minutes later
Riel and Alex sit opposite each other Alex munching on snacks while reading a newspaper.
Spasming and feeling tense, riel questions the reason why he would come to the Estate in the dead of night, especially when Lustre wasn't around. Before she could talk or react
Looking around her, Alex asked "Huh, the kids aren't here?" he said noticing the absence of the twins.
Riels body stiffened, and she seemed more on edge. Noticing this Alex took a step away giving space between them. He could tell something was off.
"Is something wrong?" He asks a look of worry across his face.
"The kids... the kids are missing" she says feeling dejected
"Missing, since when?"
"It's been about five days since it happened"
'And my brother?" he asks
"He's too... he's too busy with preparations for his wedding or whatnot" she says trying to seem dismissive.
"Really?." Alex says, then sighs "My brothers no good, I thought he would panic the most since he always seemed to treat them like eggs"
Like eggs, what the heck, would someone who treat their kids that preciously be this dismissive with them., Riel asks, questioning such character.
"Can you help?' she asks she felt like she was grasping at thin straws, but what else could she do
"What?"
"Please, your the only one I can ask right now"
"Even so, I feel like I can't possibly be of help and besides I would like to refrain from getting involved to avoid unnecessary trouble from my brother. He can get Unneedy aggressive." He says
"Please your the only one I can ask right now" she says
Alex sighs not knowing what to say any longer, he looks around for anyone close by. Seeing as there was no one, he looks at riel with a tired look
"Fine, let's not talk here" he says as he opens the passenger seat of his car "Get in".
Riel gets into the car with no complaints, she knew that not doing so would only put Alex in trouble with Lustre with the whole leadership drama going on in between them.
Lustre watches as they drive of from his office window, his expression grim and somewhat unhappy and yet his scarlet eyes unreadable.
What was this emotion he felt whenever he saw her close to others? he wondered to himself, pondering and pondering for answers.
"Lustre!, Honey, the dresses are here, Mother have sent them over" Kiha barges in as she says excitedly, leaving him no room to ponder further.
"Kiha" Lustre calls calmly "Didn't I say you should knock before barging into my offices?" he asks, not once sparing her a glance.
"Um..."
"Forget it. Let's go" He says still watching the window for a bit longer, before diverting his gaze, With no expression Lustre turns around away from the window heading towards the living room.
