Chapter 25 - The Feast of Victory

The night of chaos had passed, and morning came with noise — too much noise.

Drums, cheers, and shouting echoed through Pegora Town. The townspeople danced in the streets, waving flags and celebrating the mysterious hero who had saved them from the monster horde.

"Whoever that brave soul was," shouted the guild master proudly from a balcony, "we owe you our lives!"

The crowd erupted with joy.

Meanwhile, far away in a small rented room, someone was not enjoying the party.

Pramit rolled over, covering his ears with a pillow."Why… are they so loud…? People are trying to sleep here…" he mumbled.

The cheering outside got even louder. Fireworks burst in the sky.He twitched.

Then, without realizing it — his hand glowed faintly.A gust of wind blew out every torch in the street. The fireworks fizzled out mid-air and fell harmlessly onto the rooftops.

"W-what just happened!?" someone yelled."It must be the mysterious hero showing his power again!" another shouted."Truly amazing!"

From his bed, Pramit just turned over again and muttered,"Finally… quiet."

"Today, we celebrate Pegora's survival! Raise your cups — to our brave defenders!"

The crowd cheered, laughter filling the air.

Meanwhile, at the edge of the party, Pramit was half-asleep on a bench.Lyria spotted him instantly.

"There you are! Don't even think about sneaking off!" she said, grabbing his arm.Pramit groaned. "But… I'm tired.""You've been tired since morning! You're coming — and eating."

The word eating worked like a magic spell. His eyes opened slightly. "...Food?"

Moments later, Lyria sighed as she watched him at the table — completely forgetting everything else.Pramit tore through roasted meat, soup, bread, fruit, and pies like a starving bear.

Within minutes, half the dishes vanished.

"W-Wait—! That was for everyone!" Lyria yelled, but it was too late.Pramit leaned back, rubbing his stomach with a satisfied sigh."This world… has good cooking."

Around them, people stared — some shocked, some amused.

The mayor chuckled nervously. "Heh… good appetite, young man."

Lyria covered her face. "He's going to eat the town at this rate…
