It had been a month since the mission to escort the merchants of the Fire Nation.
And a month since Indra and his team's unexpected encounter with those mysterious Shinobi.
Currently, deep within the Forest of Death, Indra could be seen doing one-finger handstand push-ups.
One after another.
He had already completed thousands of them.
4997.
4998.
4999.
5000!!
Indra finally stopped.
Taking a deep breath, he slowly got back onto his feet and took out a clean towel from his sealing scroll before wiping the sweat from his face. He had been doing all of this while wearing heavily weighted training gear.
Clenching his hand into a fist, a soft green light slowly began to gather around his palm.
Medical Ninjutsu.
Something he had learned from his mother, Sakura.
Recently, Indra had been focusing more on strengthening his physique and stimulating the power of Yin. After all, now that he had awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan, if he wanted to advance even further, he needed to raise his physical strength to the same level as his spiritual power.
With a thought, he canceled the Medical Ninjutsu surrounding his hand.
Progress has been steady… but it will still take several years before I can awaken the Rinnegan.
Although, this is still good progress.
Indra's expression became slightly more serious.
But I don't know why… I have a feeling something big is going to happen in the future.
And with so many things already happening that don't align with Canon… this universe is definitely an alternate parallel world.
I don't even know what new dangers or enemies I'll have to encounter.
Indra let out a quiet sigh.
And besides, I have to become stronger.
Stronger than anyone else.
If I want to fulfill my ambition of standing at the very top, then this much strength isn't enough.
Not only that, but the crisis facing the Shinobi world was already looming on the horizon.
The invasion of the Ōtsutsuki
Indra's eyes narrowed.
I should also take some time to study Senjutsu.
And I need to win Orochimaru over to my side. He would be a valuable ally, His expertise in science is what I truly value.
I need to slowly build my own faction and expand my power. With Orochimaru around, things will become much easier, And I'll also gain access to the Holy Land of the Snake Sage, because even with his genius If he wants to learn Senjutsu, he just can't blindly Learn at mysteriously without a direction.
Indra's thoughts continued to race.
I should also focus on improving the Shadow Clone Technique.
In the future, I can send my clones throughout the Shinobi world to search for and recruit talented individuals.
After all… the world is a huge place.
While Indra continued calculating his plans for the future…
Meanwhile, on Himawari side~
Konoha Uzumaki Shrine…..
On the other side of Konoha, Himawari was sitting inside the Uzumaki Shrine, carefully scrolling through the ancient archives of sealing techniques.
As the daughter of the Seventh Hokage and a member of the Uzumaki Clan who had awakened all of her bloodline abilities, she had been granted permission to enter the heavily secured shrine and study the Uzumaki Clan's Fūinjutsu.
The shrine contained countless sealing techniques that had been preserved for generations.
And Himawari had become completely engrossed in them.
Currently, she was studying the Five Elements Seal.
The technique required the user to generate five chakra flames across their fingers, each representing one of the five basic nature transformations:
Fire. Water. Lightning. Earth. Wind.
When applied to a target already carrying another seal, such as a Jinchūriki, the technique acted as an uneven lock.
It created an unstable barrier that made it incredibly difficult for the target to access or control their chakra.
Himawari studied the technique with deep concentration.
All right… I think I've got the basics down.
All I need now is practice, and then I should be able to master the Five Elements Seal.
A motivated smile appeared on her face.
She carefully placed the scroll aside before taking a sip of water to moisten her dry throat.
Then she leaned back against the couch and let out an exhausted yet satisfied sigh.
I never thought Fūinjutsu would be this interesting and fascinating.
Is this what Indra-kun feels when he's completely engrossed in creating his Jutsu?
Honestly… it's exhausting, but it's also extremely satisfying at the same time.
Himawari smiled faintly.
The Chūnin Exams were only a few months away, and both Indra and Masao were busy with their own training.
At first, Himawari had been confused about what she should focus on.
Her Taijutsu and Ninjutsu were already quite solid, and with only a few months remaining, she didn't think she could make any massive improvements in either field.
So, after thinking about it carefully, she suddenly remembered something she had read about her clan.
The Uzumaki Clan was renowned for their mastery of Fūinjutsu.
After deciding on her goal, Himawari had spoken to her father and asked for his permission.
Naruto had agreed.
And after receiving his approval, she was allowed to enter the Uzumaki Shrine and study its ancient archives.
Even the village council thought it was a good idea.
After all, having a skilled Uzumaki Fūinjutsu master would be an enormous benefit to the village.
And so, Himawari now spent most of her time inside the shrine.
Honestly, she had been having a fantastic time.
Sure, it was exhausting…
But it was fun at the same time.
Aside from showering, eating, and occasionally meeting up with her team, she spent almost all of her free time here, studying Fūinjutsu.
Masao did say he was learning Senjutsu…
And Kakashi-sensei said he was busy helping my father with his work.
Himawari leaned against the couch and glanced toward the window.
Her eyes wandered toward the beautiful scenery outside.
I wonder how Indra-kun is doing…
She smiled softly.
For some reason, she couldn't help but think about him.
....
A/N : please remember to drop the power stone. It's the source of my motivation. The more power Stones I get the more motivated I am to write new chapters~
