Chapter 24 - Episode 24 ~ Confinement ④

"Brother, are you hungry?"

After a while of being sexually fondled, I was exhausted and Shiori started talking to me. I never expected him to ask me that, so I just stared back at Shiori in silence.

"Would you like to have lunch?"

That's what Shiori said. I looked up and saw dazzling sunlight streaming in through the gap in the window. From that, I realized it was around noon. But even so, it was "lunch"? To think that he was casually eating lunch in such a strange situation. Rather than being astonished, I was disappointed, and in fact I was even taken aback. However, I was afraid of what would happen if I pointed that out, so I refrained from questioning him.

"H-daytime? I don't mind."

I immediately regretted my reply, because Shiori's face had turned up, his eyes bulging, and his expression had taken on a look resembling that of a demon.

"Brother? What did you just say?"

"No, no. Yes, I need it."

I quickly took back what I had said. Well, it's true that I was feeling a little hungry, so a break for food wouldn't be a bad idea.

"Yes ♪ I'll go and make it now, so please wait a moment. Look forward to it, okay? My lunch."

Shiori smiled like an angel and left the room. I heard the door slam shut. Taking this opportunity, I looked around the room. There was only one door. The only other way in or out was through the window. The only way to escape would be to smash the window open. However, I didn't think doing that would truly solve this problem. Besides, with my hands and feet tied, I couldn't even get a hold of the window frame. So I'd just hope that my mother would find me. The lighting... didn't seem very promising.

"Sorry to keep you waiting."

After a while, Shiori came over with a tray of his home-cooked meal. It was a Chinese set consisting of stir-fried pork with green peppers, white rice, and miso soup. It looked pretty tasty, I thought at a glance. In fact, it was almost too good considering Shiori is such a bad cook.

"Huh...? Your arm is injured."

Looking at him, Shiori had a bandage wrapped around his left arm. Blood was seeping out of the bandage, probably due to severe bleeding. Perhaps he had cut his hand while cooking.

"Oh, is this it? It's nothing. Ufufufu..."

"Are you sure you're okay? Does it hurt...?"

"Yes. You don't have to worry about anything, big brother. Ufufu. Ufufu..."

Shiori laughed creepily and picked me up. Then he picked up some meat with his chopsticks and brought it to my mouth. It seemed he wanted me to open my mouth. I guess it couldn't be helped since my wrists were tied. I resisted as best I could.

"At least untie this rope, okay? It's hard to eat."

"No."

Shiori answered immediately. I thought so. Since I had no expectations, I wasn't disappointed. Resigned to my situation, I stuffed the food Shiori offered me into my mouth like a baby.

"Ugh..."

The moment I put it in my mouth, I almost spat it out. It smelled so fishy that I wondered if it was even cooked. From the outside, there was nothing suspicious about the dish itself. However, the more I chewed it, the stronger the sourness became. It had a bloody smell, almost like eating raw liver.

Blood――? No way――――

I glanced at the bandages wrapped around Shiori's arm and said.

"Hiro…Could that be you? That injury…"

Shiori answers while looking at her own scars.

"Ufufu. That's right, brother. How do you like my taste?"

The moment I heard that answer, I felt an intense urge to vomit.

"Ugh... Ah, uh, geeee..."

Without thinking, I spat out all the meat I had just eaten.

It already tastes disgusting, but the thought of it tasting like human blood makes it even more disgusting.

"Uh ..."

As I continued vomiting, my stomach began to calm down a little.

"Ah... this is, well..."

I suddenly looked at the target and saw that she was staring intently at the lump of meat I had spat out.

His hand holding the chopsticks was shaking so much that it was clearly visible.

and----

"I, I put my heart and soul into this, y-your cooking. My, my cooking. Homemade..."

The sign kept repeating the same words like a broken toy.

"S-Signal?"

"Aaaaahhhh...!"

Shiori shouted, grabbed my head, and slammed it onto the floor.
