Chapter 13 Main God Space
The dazzling white light enveloped the entire mountain cave.
When the light stabilized again, the squad members appeared one by one in the square of the Main God Space.
The figures of Breeding Team members Da Qiang, Er Niu, and Meng Yao gradually became clear in the Main God Space.
At the same time, there were also several damaged giant wine jars.
They had just escaped from "The Grudge," and their bodies still carried a chilling, unsettling aura.
Da Qiang lay half-dead on the ground, his body covered in horrifying wounds, some so deep that bone was visible, clearly having undergone an extremely fierce battle.
His breathing was faint, each breath seemingly consuming his last ounce of strength.
Er Niu's situation was slightly better, but he was also clearly severely wounded. He lay beside Da Qiang, his consciousness hazy, occasionally letting out low moans.
Meng Yao was the only one of the three who remained conscious.
Her gaze was icy, devoid of any warmth.
She stood beside Da Qiang and Er Niu, watching them expressionlessly, then coldly issued an order to the Main God light orb: "Heal Da Qiang and Er Niu. Points to be deducted from Da Qiang's account."
Following Meng Yao's command, the Main God light orb emitted a soft glow, enveloping Da Qiang and Er Niu.
The light gradually intensified. Their wounds began to heal at a visible speed, broken bones reconnected, and torn muscles regenerated.
But surface injuries were merely secondary.
For them to survive, the Main God must cleanse them of the [Power of the Grudge].
If this thing wasn't cleared, then they would still be hunted by Kayako after entering the next horror movie.
Da Qiang and Er Niu's bodies began to recover.
The squad members in those wine jars, however, did not receive such care.
These people had lost their limbs, and were even deprived of sight and speech. Their existence was solely to provide points for the Breeding Team of the Main God Space. Their bodies were fixed within the wine jars, unable to move, only able to helplessly endure endless pain and humiliation.
Around these wine jars, bloodstains and shredded flesh were scattered on the ground – evidence of the Breeding Team's actions in the horror movie.
The air was filled with a nauseating mixture of blood and alcohol.
Meng Yao turned a blind eye to the people in the wine jars. Her attention was entirely focused on the recovery of Da Qiang and Er Niu.
For her, these people were merely tools, while Da Qiang and Er Niu were her companions.
Even though this relationship was built upon exploitation and control.
The order had already been given; there was nothing left to wait for.
Meng Yao walked towards her own room.
She was too tired.
She was starting to break under the strain of such Reincarnation.
"A choked gasp—"
As the room door closed, a raspy, incoherent voice suddenly appeared in the Main God Space.
"H-heal... r-repair... my body! D-deduct f-from Da Qiang's p-points, d-deduct!"
Suddenly! A burst of intense white light shot out from the Main God light orb, enveloping one of the damaged wine jars!
The white light flowed like liquid over the surface of the wine jar, slowly permeating inside.
The legs of the person inside the jar began to undergo subtle changes. Muscles and bones regenerated at a visible speed, gradually forming a complete pair of feet.
Then, this growth force continued to extend upward. Calves and thighs gradually formed, skin covered them, finally constructing complete lower limbs.
As the white light continued its effect, the upper body of the person in the jar also began to change.
Arms and hands gradually grew from the shoulders, fingers unfurling one by one, restoring their original function.
Although this process was slow, it was a genuine rebirth.
Finally, as the white light reached its most intense point, the person's face in the jar also began to reshape.
Eyes appeared from nothingness, gradually forming complete eyeballs from two empty sockets. Eyelids slowly opened, revealing a pair of eyes that had just regained their sight.
These eyes appeared bewildered and confused upon first contact with the light, but soon they were filled with a strong emotion—a yearning for freedom and a painful memory of the past.
As the limbs and facial features were fully restored, the body of the person in the jar was finally whole again!
Clenching his hands, the long-lost physical sensation made him let out a long breath.
Finally!
He had finally gotten his chance!
Carefully crawling out of the wine jar, Ren Arakawa saw the structure of the Main God Space for the first time.
There was nothing special about it, just an empty mountain cave, with a huge white light orb suspended in the middle.
Around the mountain cave, a circle of doors was arranged.
A glance revealed about twenty doors.
It also seemed to correspond to the maximum number of members in a Reincarnation Team.
Beneath the light orb, lay two humans still undergoing healing.
This was also the first time Ren Arakawa had seen Da Qiang and Er Niu.
"Damn things!"
He clenched his fists, wanting to rush out of the jar immediately and go flatten these two guys.
But reason told him that if he did so, even if Meng Yao in the room didn't hear the commotion and come out to stop him, he would still be annihilated because he couldn't afford the two thousand Reward points deducted for harming teammates.
After exchanging a glance with the Main God light orb, he learned that the Reward points he had obtained in the previous "The Grudge" were:
A fixed one thousand Reward points, plus one hundred Reward points from an unknown source, totaling one thousand one hundred points.
"What a pity! Not enough for two thousand! Otherwise, I could have killed these two!"
Fighting two or more Breeding Team members at the same time, Ren Arakawa knew his chances of winning were likely zero.
He held his breath, glanced in the direction of Meng Yao's room door, and a plan formed in his mind.
He whispered to the light orb: "Give me a room! The most secluded spot!"
As soon as his voice fell, a door opened in a corner of the Space.
He pulled out the wine jar that had "accompanied" him through four horror movies, exerting all his strength to lay it down and roll it.
It wasn't that he couldn't bear to part with this thing.
He wished he would never see such a container again in this lifetime.
What he wanted to do was to make sure the three members of the Breeding Team had no idea that one of the people in the jars could now move freely.
Lie in wait!
Until—
The moment to strike!
Flames of revenge churned in Ren Arakawa's eyes. He pushed the wine jar into his room, and with a "click," the door closed.
The Breeding Team's nightmare.
Had arrived!
Entering the room, Ren Arakawa had the Main God remove all the original chairs and beds.
He hadn't experienced the sensation of standing for too long.
He didn't want to lie or sit; he only wanted to feel his own two legs beneath him.
"*Infinite Horror*... the secrets within the Main God Space..."
He rubbed his eyes, then gently opened the door and peeked out.
"Main God, can you give me a direction for the most suitable enhancement for me right now?"
As soon as his voice faded.
A line of text appeared in his mind.
[Increase Chakra capacity]
"Chakra!?!?!" His pupils constricted, and a sudden exclamation appeared in his mind!
"Brother! Brother! Who are you? Where are you? Are you Ren Arakawa from the Main God Space!?!?"
