Billions of roots burst from deep underground, lashing out in every direction. The vast majority targeted the Willow God's two main opponents.
The rest, a few thousand, remained to attack the spectators.
Among those attacked was Liora.
Although she had kept some distance from the battlefield, a few dozen roots attacked her as well.
Despite looking like ordinary roots that were simply too big, they did not fool Liora.
As the roots approached her, she sensed similar roots emerging in the River of Time and striking directly at her Throne.
In an instant, every imprint she had left throughout ancient history came under attack, similar roots piercing through timespace with the sole purpose of destroying them.
It wasn't that Liora had received some special treatment. Throughout the River of Time, roots emerged and struck at the Thrones of those watching the battle.
Seeing this, Liora's expression turned solemn.
