Chapter 31 - Chapter 31 Blue Pages at the Bottom of the Sea, Perfect Dragon Power!

"Old man, why didn't you let me play?"

Yami's expression was a little grim as he said in a gloomy tone, "I wanted to go all out!"

"Oh ho ho, you're too strong. This old man and the audience outside are really looking forward to this game! Ending it early would be too boring."

At this moment, outside the Sea Temple, the live broadcast of this "game" was projected onto a giant light screen. The villagers were all gathered there, watching the match with excitement.

Could the exciting little program be the contestants themselves?

"Old man, you really get it!"

Bang!

Yami burst into laughter, picked up his wine glass, and clinked it with the old man's. They had a feeling of being in cahoots.

"A masked priest?"

Adam was about to dive into the lake when he saw a person wearing a bighead carp mask on the shore.

Let's achieve one objective first!

"Dragon Blast!"

Adam leaped, transforming back into his human form mid-air, and a dazzling beam of light shot out from his hand.

"Ah!"

The "bighead carp" was still foolishly facing away from the lake. He had no time to react as the light beam struck him directly in the back, eliciting a scream before he passed out.

"That's cheating! How can he ambush someone?"

The High Priest in the viewing room immediately shouted, expressing his strong disapproval of Adam's sneak attack.

"Haha, old man, that's called never too old for tricks!"

Yami was overjoyed, even offering to bet with the white-bearded old man. He wanted to wager ten thousand Yul on the Black Bulls winning.

"Hehe, what ranks are the Mages in your Knight Order?" the High Priest asked at this point.

"All of them are low-ranked!" Yami glanced at the white-bearded old man, surprised that this old fellow, in such a remote place, actually knew about Mage ranks.

"If my priests were to be ranked by Magic Knights, the lowest would be..."

Before the High Priest could finish his sentence, the score of 10 to 9 instantly changed to 10 to 5.

Asta, Gauche, Luck, and Magna had instantly defeated the priests they encountered.

"Their strength isn't low-ranked, haha." Yami was extremely excited. As a contestant who usually lost even his underwear, he had finally made a comeback.

"Hehe, the best is yet to come! My three great priests are all high-ranked Mages..."

Adam swam towards the deeper parts of the current, following the guidance of the jade pendant. The thrill of this exploration made him unconsciously wag his tail!

Adam was the "mermaid"!

...This dramatic match did not stop due to Adam's temporary departure.

After Asta defeated a priest, he encountered a High Priest further ahead. This battle expert's aura always seemed to attract enemies.

Finral was still hiding, being chased by monsters summoned by the High Priest.

Charmy, the little one, was feasting by the sea on a seafood banquet prepared by the Sheep Chef, living an even more luxurious life than Captain Yami.

However, Charmy got sleepy after eating her fill and was lulled to sleep by Kahono's lullaby.

Vanessa, the drunken witch, unexpectedly took down an enemy.

Grey had turned into a crab, planning to blend in until the game ended, as she had no offensive abilities.

Noelle encountered Kahono, Gauche was still strolling, and Magna and Luck arrived together at the core of the temple, where they met Jior, the High Priest's son and the strongest person in the Sea Temple.

"Hammer of the Sea God!"

"Lightning Armor!"

"Fireball!"

Jior conjured a giant water hammer, while Luck and Magna stood ready, the scene reaching a fever pitch.

Bang!

With a loud crash, Beto, one of the Three Demon Eyes, smashed his way in from outside the temple.

Enormous magic power enveloped Beto; the beast instantly sent Jior flying.

"Feel despair, you bugs!"

Yami in the viewing room immediately stood up and said with an undeniable tone, "Old man, it's time for the second phase of the game. Let me in quickly!"

...Adam didn't know how long he had been swimming. The surroundings were pitch black, and he couldn't see anything.

"What is that?"

A faint blue light appeared ahead. Adam surprisingly transformed back automatically. After choking on a mouthful of water, the jade pendant on his chest erupted in a dazzling red light, pulling him forward directly.

A page emitting blue light!

With a bang, the entire seabed was illuminated. A giant whirlpool swirled from the page, as if to test the treasure hunter's courage.

"Dragon Blast!"

The power of the monkey was suppressed, but Adam's Dragon Power grew even stronger.

Adam shot beams of light backward from his hands, and the massive airflow propelled him forward.

"Not enough!"

Adam continued to increase his force, flames flickering in his eyes. He reached out one hand forward, already having choked violently once, and was now at his limit holding his breath.

Is this where it ends?

No!

Angry Dragon, grant me the divine power to obtain everything!

Dragon's Awakening!

The golden grimoire emitted a dazzling light, the eyes of the dragon pattern lit up, and perfect Dragon Power descended upon Adam.

He touched it!

The blue page was grasped in Adam's hand, and a surge of ethereal blue magic power transmitted into his body. The entire magical barrier within began to vibrate violently, as if a deity was throwing a tantrum, ready to show everyone a thing or two.

"Has the Sea God gotten angry?"

"What in the world is going on?"

"Don't run around, everyone. The High Priest will surely save me."

The villagers outside the temple immediately fell into disarray. In the face of nature's power, they could only pray for divine protection.

But... are there really gods?

"What's happening?"

Everyone in the Sea Temple instinctively stood still. Even Beto, the beast, remained completely motionless.

Fortunately, the tremor stopped quickly, lasting no more than 15 seconds.

"Eye of the Midnight Sun, look at the mess you've made. Even the gods of the sea can't stand it anymore!" Magna shouted.

This ugly fellow's magic power is even more terrifying than the captain's. This is probably going to be a tough fight!

Magna and Luck were highly tense. As predecessors of the Hot-Blooded King, they would never back down.

"You rude intruders, even the Sea God is angry!" Jior struggled to get up from the ground. As the strongest person in the Sea Temple, he would never allow anyone to cause trouble here.

"Hehe, you foolish bug, you actually didn't pass out."

Beto clearly didn't take the tremor seriously, thinking it was just a "minor accident."

Even if the seabed collapsed, Beto could still burst out with his magic power.

Beto had a strong sense of mischief. As the embodiment of the Elf Clan's despair, he didn't attack in the chaos but wanted to first let his opponents feel hope, and then plunge them into deep despair.

"You guys spread out and spread despair!"

The four white-robed figures behind Beto instantly scattered. He looked at Jior with excitement, releasing his beastly nature, and shouted arrogantly, "Bug, feel the despair of being tormented!"

"Hammer of the Sea God!"

Jior instantly created a water hammer and violently smashed it towards Beto.

"Beast Magic, Rhino Armor!"

Beto was enveloped in magic power. This armor made of magic made Jior's attack a joke.

"It didn't cause him any damage at all." Jior was stunned. Beto gave an evil smile and charged directly at him.

"Beast Magic, Bear Paw!"

Beto sent Jior flying with one blow. Magna and Luck didn't even have time to react and were also sent flying by the beast.

Seeing his fallen teammates, Yami could no longer hold back. The old man couldn't stop the magic, so he could only force his way through.

"Nameless Slash!"

After Yami broke through the wall with a single strike, he found that the inside was enveloped in Spatial Magic.

"Warrior from a foreign land, you are my main course. I'll save you for last."

Beto's voice rang out, and Yami unconsciously frowned.

"The despair of watching your comrades die must be even more delicious!"

Beto seemed to be able to see Yami through the light screen. At this moment, he seemed to remember something, his expression becoming increasingly frenzied, and he roared with a twisted face, "That bug named Adam, get out here!"

"Ah-choo! Who's thinking of me!"
