I woke up with a throbbing headache and a blurry view of the floor. I try to lifty arms, but they seem to be tied back. My feet are too.y adrenaline kicks in, and I try to look up, but it seems my head won't move. And my dang head hurts so bad. The distinct coppery smell of blood floated around the room. No wonder my head hurts so bad, I'm bleeding.
I try to blink the blur out of my eyes, but instead rewarded with a deafening ringing in my ears. I was probably hit over the head.
Ok, Bakugo, get a hold of yourself. You've trained for this. Find details that can help you identify where you are. My hands have chains to stop explosions, but they're old. The room smells of must and dirt, like an abandoned building. The floor looks rotted and broken in places. The chair feels like an old wooden chair. The room is too cold to produce sweat for an explosion. My feet only have ropes, so maybe if I kick hard enough?
The sound of a door opening freezes me, and footsteps approach. I would never admit it, but I was scared in that moment. Terrified, even. Good thing I can act.
"Kacchan! Are you awake yet?" The voice is what finally gets me to sweat. It's the dang creature's voice. I manage to lift my head just enough to glare at them. I was kidnapped by the ghost. I ball my hand into fists to let the cold sweat collect, hoping he won't notice.
"Oh yay, you are! I wantes to apologize for taking you like this. I know it's not very nice of me. But look on the bright side! You're all mine now." The creature bends down to my level and smiles the same wicked smile. "I won't hurt you. I could never. But I do have a request..." I wasn't listening. The only thing I could focus on was the sweat in my palms. I almost hand enough to burn the chair. I'd been trying to loosen the ropes withu feet without him noticing, and I guess it worked. I just needed an opening.
"Kacchan, did you hear me? Sigh, you never do." He grabbed my face and pointed it towards his. "I have a request. Now listen properly this time. You have a choice to make, ok? Either watch UA burn to the ground with all your friends inside, or..." I growled the moment he gave that option.
"I don't care what you try and intimidate me with. You're lying." Maybe he was bluffing, and if I could pick at that thread long enough I could get my opening to escape. Or the heroes would come.
The thing let go of my face. "You haven't even heard my second option, Kacchan! Either watch me burn the school to the ground, or..." He smiled wickedly "Go on a date with me!"

Did this creature just ask me out? I burst out laughing so hard tears spring to my eyes. I guess that was the wrong move because the creature kicked me hard in the chest, knocking over the chair.
"Oops! Are you okay, Kacchan? I got a little mad there, haha! Anyways... What'll it be? Watch the school that built this country burn to ash and everyone you care about with it? Or go on one measly little date with your childhood friend?" He picks back up the chair and brushes invisible dirt off my shoulders, flashing a charming smile at me. He has to bluffing.
"Like heck I would ever go on a date with a monster like you," I snarl. "You think you can wear a dead man's face and threaten me into going out with you? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?" I spit on the ground next to his foot. The creature drops the smile.
"You think I'm bluffing about the school? You think I'm not actually Izuku? Okay okay, fair enough. I'm a reasonable enough guy-" I snort, earning a glare from it "-ask me anything. Something only Izuku Midoriya would know."
I frown, taken aback. What would only Deku know?
"Where is your father, Deku?" The thing smiled.
"Good question. I don't know."
Correct. Deku never knew about his father. "Your birthmark."
The thing stripped off its boot and rolled up the pant leg. Sure enough, a shooting star was there, exactly the same.
This thing must be messing with me. Yeah. It's just messing with me. Trying to get under my skin. It's not really him. It's impossible. It's...
