Chapter 27 - Capacity measurement for training camp preparation

The individual summer training camp was scheduled to run throughout August. A few days before it began, I gathered all participants in my room.

The goal was simple: assess each horse girl's physique and ability. Some might need to focus on building their bodies, others on stamina, and some on refining their racing technique. This meeting was to help me understand where each one stood.

"Thanks for having us♪"

"Looking forward to it."

"Nice to meet you, Nishino-san, Mihono-san."

Nishino Flower and Mihono Bourbon arrived right on schedule. Judging by their builds, they'd likely benefit most from ability-focused training.

"Viola, good to see you."

"Say hi to Ayrton for me too."

Ayrton Symboli was also on the list. She's tall and solidly built—probably suited for heavier training with a bit of conditioning.

So far, everything was going as expected.

Then came the surprises.

"Viola-chan, sorry for the last-minute addition."

"No problem. One or two more is totally fine."

"…Nice to meet you."

Shinko Lovely had brought 'Sanei Thank You'.

To be honest, I barely knew her. She was always quiet, tucked away in the corner of the classroom. I didn't even think she and Lovely were close. But as class president, maybe she'd noticed something others hadn't.

I'd invited classmates to join, and while I hadn't expected Sanei, I welcomed the extra numbers. More variety meant better training dynamics.

"Trot Thunder, from Urawa. Pleased to meet you."(Note-In reality Trot Thunder is a retired horse)

"Nice to meet you, Ms. Thunder."

And then came the real curveball: Trotsander.

She was supposed to transfer from Urawa to Chuo for a short-term study program and join the school's summer camp. But due to a mix-up, she didn't get a spot.

Tracen Academy, what are you doing?

In a scramble, the school learned about my voluntary camp and—without asking—assigned her to me.

This threw my plans off completely. We had to shift the venue from Lovely's villa to the academy itself. In exchange, we were granted priority access to all facilities and unlimited use of consumables.

Honestly? That part was amazing.

And so, our summer camp roster was finalized: eight participants, including me and Rice Shower.

"So what's the plan?"

"We'll start with physical measurements and a timed 1600m run. That'll help shape the training menu."

Measurements weren't emphasized, but they were essential. Everyone changed into underwear for accurate readings—height, weight, underbust, thigh circumference, and more.

It's a bit of a hassle to do daily, but it's necessary.

Once the data was collected, we will prepare to run the 1600m together and begin crafting personalized training menus.
