Liang Yu's Dou Character Secret circulated, and countless secret techniques evolved; for a moment, the Heavenly River hung upside down, the Four Spirits danced, heaven and earth overturned, and Immortals and Gods descended.
However, the Dujie Tianzun always responded to all changes with an unchanging stance; the Lin Character Secret's impregnable defense blocked all divine abilities from truly reaching him.
This tiny figure was like a pillar in the torrent of countless divine abilities, standing firm.
Liang Yu felt some regret; after all, it was just an imprint, and while the Lin Character Secret's operation was miraculous, it was ultimately somewhat rigid.
If he wished, he could have exploited this point, targeting it with infinite variations.
At that point, this imprint of the Dujie Tianzun would inevitably be unable to respond in time to multiple changes, and its impregnable defense would have a weak point, which Liang Yu could then easily break through.
But Liang Yu did not want to do that.
Because the Lin Character Secret was most antithetical to his Dou Character Secret.
If it were other secrets, it would be fine, but only this one secret did Liang Yu want to break head-on; he wanted to try and directly shatter this invincible defense.
Liang Yu no longer sought victory through quantity but instead concentrated his divine abilities, attempting a pinpoint breakthrough with the Heaven-Piercing Finger and the Great Destruction Finger techniques.
At the same time, he also tried to use space-time divine abilities to bypass the Lin Character Secret's defense and attack the main body.
Ultimately, he successfully pierced through the Lin Character Secret's defense and shattered this figure, but his heart felt no joy.
After all, this was not the true person, and yet it was already so difficult to deal with.
If it were the real Dujie Tianzun, he would not have foolishly waited for Liang Yu to break his defense but would have continuously changed and adjusted, making Liang Yu's targeted attacks miss.
Without a moment's regret for the disappearance of the Dujie Tianzun's imprint, the next participant was the Wuliang Tianzun.
As the previous attained the Dao, and also a Heavenly Lord who clearly passed away, he once killed Wang Bo, the Chaos Body, and refined his body into the giant Five-Colored Altar continent of Beidou Star, but he himself passed away due to injuries.
Seeing the ancient stele with a dragon head and snake pattern above his head, Liang Yu couldn't help but think that Ye Fan once speculated that Emperor Fuxi was also an Ancient Emperor resurrected; now it seems, perhaps he was the Wuliang Tianzun's emperor corpse gaining sentience.
Under the influence of the Bing Character Secret, Liang Yu's Qiankun Creation Pagoda would occasionally deviate from its trajectory and attack its master; he needed two hundred percent of his energy to control his attained the Dao's treasure.
And that stone stele was incredibly agile and elusive, and its power was terrifyingly strong.
The Bing Character Secret, which includes artifact refining and weapon control, is indeed a supreme profound method.
Although it is somewhat unconventional in the world of 'Shrouding the Heavens,' where everyone relies on their own strength to charge forward, it is indeed difficult to deal with.
Since his weapons couldn't compete, Liang Yu had no choice but to target the main body, attempting to separate the main body from the weapon in order to defeat them one by one.
After painstakingly shattering his opponent, the next Heavenly Lord appeared.
The Changsheng Tianzun, who created the Zhe Character Secret; the Xiaoyao Tianzun, who created the Xing Character Secret; and the Jiemie Tianzun, who created the Qian Character Secret, are all still alive, having self-severed and entered the restricted zones.
The Changsheng Tianzun perished together with the Great Accomplished Sacred Body in the Ancient Desolate Forbidden Land after failing to enter the Immortal Ascension Road; the Xiaoyao Tianzun died after failing in his attempt to seize the body of Ye Fan, who had achieved Great Accomplishment of the Sacred Body; the Jiemie Tianzun was sealed by Emperor Zun on the Immortal Ascension Road as a sacrifice.
But now, they are all still living well.
However, their imprints were nothing special.
Facing these three Heavenly Lords who took the stage consecutively, Liang Yu used the Lifeless Seal and the Killing Seal against the Zhe Character Secret's super strong vitality; he used the Eternal Immovable King Seal and the Heaven Sealing Divine Seal against the Xiaoyao Tianzun's extreme speed; and he used the Three Lives Reincarnation Seal and the Heaven Shrouding Divine Seal against the Jiemie Tianzun's powerful primordial spirit and precognitive abilities, ultimately achieving victory.
The sixth figure, Daode Tianzun, has few recorded deeds; his Dao Scripture is the strongest scripture of the Sea of Wheels, and he once brewed wine with a Saint Spirit in the starry sky, besides which his emperor corpse gained sentience and transformed into Laozi.
However, it is worth mentioning that he himself did not become an Immortal; instead, his own emperor corpse, after gaining sentience, became Laozi and entered the Immortal Realm, which is hard to say whether it was fortunate or unfortunate.
The Shu Character Secret he created is the strongest method for avatars and dharmakayas.
As soon as he appeared, three dharmakayas rushed out from behind him, each almost identical to the main body, immediately engaging in a group assault.
These were avatars manifested while maintaining combat power; if one didn't demand combat power from the avatars, then millions, even billions, of different types of avatars could be released.
Liang Yu's figure shifted, transforming into a three-headed, six-armed dharmakaya, simultaneously employing the Taiyang Divine Seal, the Taiyin Divine Seal, the Opening Heaven Seal, the Heaven Sealing Dao Seal, the Void Seal, and the Star River Seal, along with the Qiankun Creation Pagoda, successfully blocking his offensive.
Ultimately, Liang Yu used the Void Seal to separate his four Body and the Heaven Sealing Seal to suppress them and buy time to defeat them one by one, thus achieving victory.
The seventh figure was Lingbao Tianzun.
The Immortal Slaughtering Four Swords filled the air with killing intent, and Liang Yu was instantly trapped within the formation.
Streaks of sword light fell, and boundless killing intent assailed him, seeming to cut down everything.
The Zu Character Secret is the highest achievement in array formations; its core array diagram, combined with the four killing swords, formed this great killing weapon, rumored to have been stained with Immortal blood and capable of slaying attained the Daos of the same level.
Liang Yu resisted with difficulty, deducing the array's changes within it, and finally broke out from a weak point to win.
Just an imprint was so endlessly variable; if it were the true body, it would probably be even more seamless, only to be broken through by brute force with stronger power.
After clashing with these Heavenly Lord imprints, Liang Yu somewhat understood why Emperor Zun's Jie Character Secret granted ten times his combat power.
These Heavenly Lords had essentially reached the pinnacle in their respective fields and were extremely difficult to counter.
The solution Emperor Zun came up with was to mindlessly stack stats: as long as my combat power is strong enough, what Lin Character Secret defense? I'll punch right through it; what Bing Character Secret weapon control? It can't even grasp my magic treasure, and even if it does, I'll punch you to death; what Dou Character Secret? All those flashy changes, I'll just break your techniques with brute force; what Zhe Character Secret? No matter how thick your HP or how fast your recovery, how many hits can you take; what Shu Character Secret? I'll just punch one after another; what Zu Character Secret? I'll just violently break the formation; what Qian Character Secret? Even if you predict my moves, you can't block them; what Xing Character Secret? If you dare to attack me, one touch from me and you'll die.
This was indeed the simplest, most direct, and most effective solution.
Liang Yu pondered for a moment and realized that the evolution of techniques has limits, and so do people; you cannot master all techniques, much less cultivate every technique to its extreme.
Stats, however, are different; although simple and crude, as long as the stats are high enough, they can indeed restrain all flashy techniques.
Liang Yu looked at the last figure, which was the Nether Emperor.
But the Nether Emperor did not make a move; he simply dissipated.
Is it because he is still alive? But those self-severed Supremes are also still alive, and their imprints also made a move, didn't they?
Liang Yu thought about it repeatedly and concluded that it might be due to the Nether Emperor's unique nature.
After all, he is one of the few people in this world who became a Red Dust Immortal.
Moreover, he hasn't buried himself yet, so perhaps he himself did something.
The sea of lightning slowly faded, and just as Liang Yu thought the great tribulation was over, a blade light flew out, striking Liang Yu's Immortal Platform.
This lightning tribulation was about to dissipate, yet it still brewed this final strike, which was beyond Liang Yu's expectation.
This strike was so swift, even more difficult to block than Xiaoyao Tianzun's Xing Character Secret.
Although Liang Yu instinctively defended, the blade light still invaded his Immortal Platform, cutting open his primordial spirit.
The scattered blade qi spread downwards along the Immortal Platform, passing through the Dragon Transformation Secret Realm and diffusing throughout his entire body.
Liang Yu's Five Secret Realms and body were all cut open by the blade qi, and his dao rhyme and life origin began to dissipate wildly.
The great tribulation finally ended, but Liang Yu also fell into crisis, because a Supreme was about to make a move.
