Chapter 132 - Chapter 131: Zoro Looking Up at the Sky

"Yohohoho, Yohohoho...

Delivering to you, Binks' Sake, riding the waves wherever I roam.

The waves are surging, the setting sun is stirring. The birds' song pierces the vast sky.

Leaving the port, unforgettable homesickness, singing a song to express my feelings.

The waves are surging, the spray is flying. A true man, roaming the ends of the earth..."

Near the forest by the altar, the Straw Hat Crew were singing loudly.

After a while, Luffy couldn't help but ask, "Sandy! Sing too! Hehehe, it's really nice, right?"

Sandy shot him a look. "Nonsense. Why would I sing such an unpleasant song?"

Sanji exhaled smoke and smirked. "I think it's because you can't sing, right?"

"Damn it!!" Sandy snapped. "You know I can't sing and you still say it out loud?! You stinky cook! I've tolerated you for a long time—take this!"

Sanji blocked Sandy's attack with a smooth side kick. Lighting another cigarette, he replied, "You've been jealous of me for a long time, haven't you?"

"What the hell are you talking about? Me, jealous of you?" Sandy snarled.

Sanji nodded proudly. "Jealous I'm handsome, and jealous that Miss Nami and Robin are in love with me."

"Oh, definitely… I'm totally jealous of your curly eyebrows," Sandy fired back.

Sanji immediately exploded. "What are you saying, you bastard!? I'll kick you to death!"

"I'll dodge."

"I'll kick."

Usopp called out, "Sandy! If you don't get over here, Luffy's gonna eat all the food again!"

Sandy waved carelessly. "Relax. Isn't there still a whole sea of clouds full of fish?"

Usopp facepalmed. "Is that really okay…?"

"Tch." Zoro gulped down his drink. "Who cares about God? We already ate the gods' food. Is there a difference between eating it once or twice?"

"Hehehe." Robin tasted the grilled fish and smiled. "It's really lively."

Nami slapped her forehead. "Didn't we say we were heading into the forest? And now we're having a banquet here instead."

Luffy laughed with a huge chunk of fish hanging from his mouth.

"Don't worry about it! Didn't Sandy say not to stress about the results? The most important thing is to be happy! Hehehe!"

"You're only saying that because there's food," Nami muttered.

A pirate banquet. Who knows how long it lasted?

But one thing was certain—everyone ate their fill!

"Ahhh, delicious fish!" Luffy rested with a satisfied grin. "Finally full! So what are we doing now? Looking for that guy called God?"

"Nope!" Nami instantly panicked. "Why go looking for such a scary guy?!"

Zoro smirked. "God? I'm kinda interested. Let's see what kind of attitude he has."

Chopper gasped. "Zoro… you sound even greater than God!"

Nami warned, "God's Enforcers are also here! We absolutely cannot anger the gods! That's basic common sense!"

Zoro tilted his head up at a dramatic forty-five degrees, copying Sandy's signature pose.

"Well, sorry," he said calmly. "But I've never prayed to any god."

"Aaaah!! So cool!!" Sandy, Luffy, and Chopper's eyes sparkled.

Nami and Usopp broke down crying. "Can you guys PLEASE not be like this!?"

Seeing them panic, Zoro added, "I just don't believe in gods. So why should I feel anything toward them?"

"Wooaah! Sugoi!!" Sandy, Luffy, and Chopper cheered again.

Nami folded her hands, eyes watery. "Dear God, I have nothing to do with these idiots! Please don't punish me! Just bless me with the Gold Country and a huge pile of treasure…"

Usopp stared. "Hey… hey…"

"Hearts!" Sanji's eyes turned pink instantly. "Don't worry, Miss Nami! I'll help you find the Gold Country no matter what!"

Sandy growled. "You bastard! I'll kick you into the sky! Nami and Robin are mine—mine!!"

DUANG! —×2

Robin ran her fingers along the stone altar. "I'm going too."

"You are?" Nami asked.

Robin nodded. "This altar was built at least a thousand years ago."

"One—one thousand years?!" everyone gasped.

Luffy's eyes sparkled. "Robin, you're amazing! You even know this!"

Robin giggled. "Ancient history is exciting. The older the place, the more treasure sleeps within it. Even a few gems could help the Going Merry, right?"

Heritage…? Gems…?

Nami raised her hand so fast it blurred. "I'm going too!"

Chopper blinked. "Weren't you really scared just now?"

Usopp sighed. "Sandy was right… Nami really falls face-first into money…"

"What are you saying?" Nami glared, Belly signs in her eyes. "I'm going to explore history!"

Everyone stared.

Yeah right. Who would believe that?

Zoro turned to Sandy. "You're not coming?"

Sandy shrugged. "The ship still needs repairs—falling into the sea earlier messed it up. Chopper and I will stay and fix the Going Merry. We'll find you later. Someone has to guard the ship anyway."

"Yosh!" Luffy grinned. "Then it's decided! Who's coming with me?"

Usopp blinked. "Aren't we all going together?"

Nami waved him off. "Robin and I are exploring history! If you guys want to help, be useful!"

Usopp grumbled. "Do you even understand history?"

"What did you say?" Nami's fist rose.

"Nothing! I didn't say anything!" Usopp surrendered instantly.

In the end:

Nami, Robin, and Zoro set off together

Luffy, Usopp, and Sanji formed another group

Sandy and Chopper stayed behind to watch and fix the ship

Sandy also stayed because his [pheromone system] reward—Spatial Comprehension—hadn't been used yet. He needed time to explore it…
