I never liked Bullock or Flass and today was my lucky day. Both lost a case like a pie. I went to roast Bullock.
Cohen " Really, Bullock. I heard you lost that Selina Dame case. Even when you caught her dressed like a cat with the goods. I mean, she scars you but you still lose such an easy case."
Hearing this, irritated him much and he was going to strangled me if Flass didn't save me. I left immediately.

Bruce and Leif were punching their respective punching bags. During this, both were in thier underwears. Bruce had skin coloured while Leif had black.
At that time, radio came alive.
Radio voice caster" Today, Selina Kyle, who had been arrested as Catwoman was released. She promised to never do such things again."
Leif" Like hell."

In an apartment, Catwoman was about to go out after a good haul. A cat started to caress her body to her calves. Seeing her, Catwoman brought her to a rooftop and started showing her haul.
At that time, Batman arrived. She ran away and he followed her from one rooftop to another. During such jump, her heel staggered. She fell crying loudly.
Batman jumped after her and caught her mid air. Before falling, he shot a grappling gun and brought them down. During this, Catwoman kissed him calling him her hero.
After landing, Batman seperated himself from her and told her to stop. But she hit him with a cell powered knuckle. Saying that she never thought it would be useful.
Batman dropped to his knees and Catwoman ran into shadows. Soon, two cat eyes appeared. Which belonged to her new modified car. Seeing him, she stepped on the accelerator with a chilly smile.
Batman timely jumped aside and saved himself.

In a worn out apartment, Selina was sitting dressed in a purple gown on a long sofa. Her maid Greta, who was cleaning the room with a scowl.
Greta" Miss Kyle? Why are we in a dump like this?"

As she said that Leif shown up brightly and turned into glowing live hard blue holy light body. His entire body seems like a solid hologram with condensed light.
PAOA " You can also use your body to use an omnidirectional flare of holy blue light."
Looking at his hands...
Leif" It's both amazing and alarming. Any mutant with such power will be a visible target."
Bruce" Truth."
He seconded.
PAOA" You will adapt to it in 1.5 days and new power will be gained after 3 days."

Batman came back after stopping an arm trafficking. He was tired tonight. As for Leif, he had just completed his work out.

PAOA" You are going to gain a new power."
Leif threw his towel from his back on chair and moved further from Bruce.
PAOA" CONGRATULATIONS! You have gained Cities level Alpha Class Striker type: Cold touch! You can turn it on and off as an Alpha Class."
Leif" Interesting."
He said turning his hand blue with vapours of coldness coming out.
PAOA " You will adapt to this power in 2.5 days. New power will be created 5 days later."
Bruce" An area of effect power."
He said looking at the vapour of coldness coming out of Leif's hands.
Alfred" What do you think about including him now?"
He said coming from behind him.
Bruce" We have talked about it Alfred. He's young and learning martial arts first time even though faster. But he's still young."
Alfred" But he has powers."
Shaking his head...
Bruce" But none of them can save him from bullets. That's why he needs more training and time."

Leif was in his butterfly mode in combination with blue hard holy light form. He was flying around dodging the incoming skeets. Suddenly, some came towards him.
He undone his form and fell into a gate and came out from another on the ground.
Bruce " You can maintain two forms at same time now."
He said coming towards him.
Swish!
PAOA" A new power is going to be create. "
Bruce stepped back.
PAOA" Congratulations! You have gained Epsilon class Changer type: Black skin!"
His entire skin turned pitch black.
Leif" Wait? That's IT! I am just a black person!"
PAOA" Yes. You will have a new power tomorrow and I can turn it off."
Looking at his arms....
Leif" To think, many of my kin are targeted due to Such useless.... Wait?! I have an idea! PAOA! Keep my colour intact. "
He turned into a pitch black butterfly. He flew up and vanished into shadows.
Bruce " Not bad. You are using it as a natural camouflage."
He said holding his chin. Leif flew down in light.
Leif" Now, let's see this."
Twin black pistols appeared in his hands.
PAOA " Pistols will be same colour as your form colour. Good thinking."

Gotham docks
From a warehouse, some men were carrying out cages. These were made with solid steel and these were shaking. Inside them instead of animals were small girls, teen-agers and adult women.
Some were in worn out clothes and some in decent colours. It was one of the many human trafficking ring of Rupert Thorne. But tonight was going to be different.
Suddenly, some of the men started falling down after a yell or shout. It made them alert and nervous. They were looking around but there was nothing.
Suddenly, Batman came out from a direction and started taking out men in his way. Any shooter, who tried to hit him, fell down himself. One thing was common among these men.
They couldn't move after being stung. Yes, something stung them. It was none other than Leif's psychic pistols' bullets. There were stunning them and he was flying around in the dark sky in his dark butterfly mode in dark trousers.
When everyone was down, batman cuffed the men he had beaten. As for others, they couldn't move for 15 minutes. Leif shot all them again and destroyed the locks of cages.
All captive females were afraid. Suddenly, sirens of police cars heard. At that time, both Batman and Leif , who was flying around in the sky went to the Batcave.

Near midnight
O'Brien POV
As a photographer and a reporter from Gotham Gazette, I quickly arrived on scene on the docks. There were a lot of police cars. Some ambulances which were handling girls and women rescued from trafficking.
I took pictures carefully. I also took pictures of cages with destroyed locks. Looked like Batman had done a great job. There, I saw Cohen. I went towards him taking a picture.
O'Brien " Cohen. What do you have to say after today's Bat bash?"
After carefully looking around.
Cohen" Listen, kid. We saw some men thrashed by Bat but..."
O'Brien" But what?"
I was curious.
Cohen" Some of the men were physically stunned. Captives said something hit or stung them and they fell down on the ground. The locks were destroyed same way."
Huh?
O'Brien" Maybe Batman..."
Cohen" No, kid. They saw him handling other men when it was happening already."
My eyes widened.
O'Brien" You mean, there's something else?"
He nodded. Even though it was terrifying. It was my biggest scoop. I quickly went to my car.

Bruce and Leif were discussing about the tonight event.
PAOA " You are gaining a new power."
Sighing.
Leif" Here, I was going to talk about some moves."
He moved away from Bruce and Alfred.
PAOA" Congratulations! You have gained Street level Gamma Class Striker type: Atomic touch with snake like tongue! You can atomise or deatomise organic and non organic things."
Leif" WHAT?!"
His eyes widened.
Bruce" That's a dangerous power."
PAOA " I will keep it off until 1.5 days. After that you will be adapted. You will gain new power 3 days later."

Batman was reading gazette with news of Catwoman crimes. He threw the paper around. Alfred came and picked it up.
Alfred " I think, you should let police handle Miss Kyle. She's just a jewelry thief."
Leif" It's not that."
He said coming from training area.
Leif" Her presence is encouraging other criminals."
Alfred" Then, how about your appointments as Bruce Wayne..."
Batman got an idea.
Bruce" Appointment? Yes. Come. Bring the limo."
He said going towards the stairs connected to the manor.
Alfred " Is he going for business?"
Shaking his head...
Leif" No. He has something else in his mind."

A woman from museum administration was trying to convince Bruce to keep his mother's jewellery longer in the museum.
Bruce " Sorry because of this Catwoman, I can't keep them here longer."
Woman" How about a weekend?"

Bruce" Okay."
Then, he went out and get in the limo.
Alfred " So..."
Bruce " Stage is set. Let's go home."
He said holding his chin.
Alfred" Sir, today is your appointment with Dr Quinzel."
Bruce" Alright."

Selina was getting ready as Catwoman for getting a new haul. When she heard on radio that jewellery collection in the museum was going to taken back after this weekend.

Bruce was changing into Batsuit behind a screen.
Leif " So, you are baiting her with aunty's jewellery and you also got your certificate from Dr Quinzel."
Batman" Yes."
He was going towards the Batmobile.
Alfred" But how you will make sure that she remains in prison this time?"
Bruce" I will provide evidence."
He got in Batmobile and went away. Alfred turned towards Leif.
Alfred " Please make sure, he's safe."
Nodding, Leif turned into his black butterfly mode and flew into a gate.

Bill O'Brien from Gotham Gazette was taking scandalous shots from a fire escape of a council man in an apartment with his lover. When Batman audibly came behind him.
It startled him, he was about to fall but Batman held him grabbing his shirt. Billy was scared and said that he did nothing. Batman said he needed his expertise as a photographer.
Billy asked what for? Batman said that he wanted him to take some pictures of him stopping Catwoman. So, she could be put behind bars. Billy accepted this and Leif, who was flying above them.
He heard everything through telepathy.

Near midnight
Gotham Museum
Billy O'Brien POV
Reaching there...
Batman " Go on the rooftop and take position near the skylight."
O'Brien" Okay."
He went in the museum and I went up the roof. Soon, I saw Catwoman coming in the museum. She took down guards easily. Of course, I took pictures of her.
After tieing them with a rope, she went towards the Wayne's jewellery counter. She cut the glass with her shiny nails? Might be fake. As she took out the pearls, I saw Batman coming out of shadows.
Man!
Batman " Put them back."
Turning around showing her bare legs...
Catwoman " Do you want to have a date with me?"
Batman " I am taking you in."
With a smile...
Catwoman " Sorry but I came with a partner."
A panther! came out from shadows behind her. She ran away and Batman was going behind her when panther was about to jump on him.
Flash!
An intense blue light hit the panther's eyes.
Growl!
It growled and I saw a FREAKING SHINING HUMANOID BUTTERFLY come inside flapping his wings.
???" Go. I will handle him."
Batman gave him a look and moved after Catwoman. Panther, which could see now growled with anger at Mr butterfly. Who MATERLIASED A SHINY BLUE PISTOL AND SHOT HIM!!
PANTHER FELL!! He looked towards ME!!!
???" He's alive. I stunned him like the gang members in the docks."
HE WAS TALKING IN MY MIND! He flew towards the Batman and I followed him. Soon, I saw through the skylight. Catwoman reached the door but detective Bullock and Flass came in.
She stopped and turned around. But Flass shot her. Bullet grazed her thigh. She fell on the floor. Bullock was going to arest her but Flass denied. He WAS GOING TO SHOOT HER but Batman stopped him.
He made him raised his hand up when he shot. Then, he punched him on his face. Bullock tried to help him but was shot by shiny blue bullet. It was Mr butterfly.
Batman knocked Flass out by hitting him in his belly. Then, he threw him on the stunned Bullock. I was still taking pictures. Then, I saw the butterfly guy flying back towards the panther.
I followed him. He flew towards the stunned panther. He sat down on his one knee and touched the ground. SHACKLES MADE OF STONE CAME OUT AND CUFFED THE PANTHER!!!
WHAT?!! Then, I saw him flying towards Batman's direction. I followed him and saw Batman bandaging Catwoman.
Catwoman " Here, I thought you didn't care."
Then, she saw him standing up and saw her feet cuffed with a table.
Catwoman " You know, you are not funny."
Batman, who was going out said.
Batman" I am not."
Mr butterfly followed after him shocking the Catwoman. After that I came down and went to my car. I took the film out of my camera and was waiting for him.
Suddenly, he jumped down before me and my heart almost stopped.
O'Brien " I got the pictures, you asked for. But I also have some pictures....of you handling police and of your supernatural friend using his powers."
I showed him the film.
O'Brien" If you want, I can destroy them for you."
Batman" Just make sure, Catwoman is behind bars. I don't care about others."
He was serious.
O'Brien" Really?! What about the pictures of your friend? Will he be okay with it?"
Suddenly, he appeared in the air flying in front of my eyes.
???" I don't care too."
O'Brien " May I ask? How nobody see someone shiny like you?"
I was curious.
???" Like this."
He flew up and VANISHED?!! I looked towards Batman and he wasn't there. At least, one of them was a human. But I really got something bigger tonight.

I had done it. Now, she would be behind bars and both me and Gotham could breathe peacefully. Alfred, who was behind me.
Alfred " But won't it be bad for you and Leif."
Leif" No. Now, they know that they are accountable too."
He said coming out of bathroom.

A press conference was called by mayor. Who came on the dice with a news paper in his hand. In the reporters and photographers Billy O'Brien was also present.
Mayor spread the paper before the press in his right hand.
Mayor " As you all can see that maniac is going after our cops now. And what about that freak of nature ?!! I won't tolerate this?! People of Gotham has elected me with their votes!
It's my duty to keep the law and order in this city! So, I am announcing the formation of a taskforce to arrest this Batman and either catch or kill that freak!"
After that he stepped back to Commissioner James Gordon, who was standing behind him near the wall.
Mayor " Now, it's your problem. Either catch or kill them. No matter what, do IT FAST!"
After that he moved towards the press.

Bullock and Commissioner James Gordon were walking a hall.
Bullock " I can't believe that you are putting a woman in charge of this taskforce. Flass and me should be the leaders."
Gordon" You and your partner are the reason behind this and even got a picture on the paper. Because of this, I am forced to go after a shadow and fairy tale instead of boss Thorne."
After that they went inside the conference room. Where detective Montoya was standing before a whiteboard with Batman and Mr butterfly inscribed with their available pictures.
Montoya " We have been catching criminals and they are not different. What do we know about them? Chandler."
A black athletic cop in uniform looked at her notes.
Chandler " He's been seen from 10 to midnight and at 4 am. While he was driving his black rod on 1000 hours. As for butterfly guy, O'Brien said he can become invisible and talk through minds."
Another cop" He had also been beating tar out of the muggers."
During this, Bullock whispered to Flass.
Bullock " ...Are you watching this?..."
Flass".... don't worry...I will think something soon...."
He was listening to her plan.
Montoya" Now, we are going to trap him."

I was really worried about both Master Bruce and Leif after today's press conference. I never thought a taskforce would be formed.

Master Leif undone his black butterfly mode and stood further from us.
PAOA " Congratulations! You have gained Town level Beta class Thinker type: Pike which can't be de- materialised and will stuck to the wielder' s body!"
Leif" That can be a hindrance."
He said thinking loudly.
PAOA" New power will be adapted in two days and a new power will be gained four days later."
At least, one was growing stronger.

A black woman in a purple scarf and gown was moving through the east end alleys when a guy, whose face was hidden by a red handkerchief, came.
He pushed her to a dust bin. She yelled. He picked her up.
???" Give me what you have or.."
But nothing happened. He unhand her.
???" Really, Driver? You have to push me on a dustbin."
Driver" Sorry, Romy. I was making it real. Shall we try after 10 mins?"
Before Romy responded.
???" Or maybe you should not because it will stop us from saving people in need."
They heard a voice in their head and looked around but there was nothing.

In a police car
Montoya checked on walkie talkie.
Montoya " Decoy 1."
Romy" We didn't met them but we heard a voice in our minds to stop at same time."
Her eyes widened...
Montoya" WHAT?!"
Romy" It's true."
An officer sitting on the driver's seat.
Officer" What now?"
Montoya " Tomorrow, we shall tight our net."

Leif POV
Batman and me in my black butterfly mode were stopping muggers at that time. I sensed a mental disturbance, I flew towards IT. Looked like Montoya was upping her stakes.
I saw few police cars chasing a single one. But they were decoys. To made it seemed real, they started shooting rubber bullets through Tommy gun on the chasing police cars.
They had rubber bullets in this age?! At that time, I sensed them passing close to Bruce. Who obviously followed them.
Leif " Batman. It's a trap."
I gave him the message through telephaty.
Batman " Got it."
Seeing Batmobile, they started shooting real ammo on him. Now that's something. I materialised my bow in black colour and shot an arrow.
Swish!
It went straight to the police car's tyre and...
Bang!
Tyre bursted and car skidded around to the pedestrian side and hit a wall. Batmobile was going straight but two prison vans stopped in parallel way. But I sensed Batman turning on thrusters and Batmobile shot through like a tank.
Both vans were rotating like tops for three times. Batmobile rushed past a paperman, whose papers covered police cars. They stopped after hitting water hydrants.
Billy O'Brien came and clicked pictures of police cars. While Montoya was fuming on a rooftop.
Montoya " We had him!"
Leif " I wish, you had used such power against Rupert Thorne."
She turned around.
Montoya" Who's there?!"
But I was away from her in the sky.

Jessop was making a fool of himself with his taskforce. This was my chance. I had called a reporter and photographer from gazette.
Dent" This is shameful. Shameful that how our taxpayers money is used on such political stunts. This is one of the reasons, why I am running an election campaign against mayor Jessop.
With me as a mayor, Gotham will be proud and safe again."

Commissioner's Office
James Gordon was telling Montoya that Mayor Jessop had called him to give an ultimatum. If he didn't catch the Batman quickly, he would be transferred.
With that Montoya would be a coffee girl and bad cops would go rogue. After that he went to conference room to find out that Batman was there. He was looking at thier research.
He chased after him even tried to shot him but he got away.
Montoya " He's really very smart. We have to go inside his head to get him."

Conference room
Dr Quinzel was telling everyone about Batman based upon their investigation. That he's a quiet person with authority. Who wanted to stop crime every night. Because he's compulsive about it.
That's why he's against cops, who didn't stop crime. As for Mr butterfly, it's hard to tell. He didn't seem like a human. So, she needed more details other than his mystical pistols, shiny body, invisibility and mind reading.
Gordon asked Montoya about her. She told him that Dr Quinzel was a friend of Barbara. She helped in her cases. As for her, she met her last Christmas. Since then, they were in touch.
When Bullock asked how to catch him. Dr Quinzel said to use a villain in costume as a bait. Flass got an idea and took Bullock with him.

Prison Cells
Flass brought Bullock to a prison Cell. It had a guy, who was making a movement of his hand like igniting a lighter.
Flass " We will use him as a bait to take Bat out."
He opened the door and said.
Flass" You are coming with us, Firefly."
???" It's Firebug."
He corrected.
Flass" Whatever. Bullock take his stuff."
Then, Flass cuffed him. Bullock took his fireproof suit and they brought him out. They put him in Bullock's car and were about to go.
Barbara " Where are you taking my client?"
Flass" He has an appointment in Arkham asylum today."
She didn't trust them.
Barbara" I wasn't told."
With smile...
Flass " It's urgent."
After that they got in the car and took off.

Barbara POV
As they took off, I decided to talk to dad about it. As I got into the GCPD conference room, I saw him with Montoya and Harleen.
Barbara " Dad. Did you allow Flass and Bullock to take a prisoner?"
Gordon" No. Which prisoner?"
DAMN!

Evening
Eastside end, Gotham
Flass and Bullock were taking Firebug to residential district. During this, they were provoking him by calling him stupid. A low criminal, who arsoned few shops.
Made fun of his costume, made fun of his name. Opening and closing lighter cap then lighting it to provoke him. Then, talking about the lock of car's trunk being busted.
So, he could steal his stuff. Then, they pretended that car engine was busted. They went out to check IT. Leaving the lighter and car's doors unlocked. Firebug took the opportunity and grabbed the lighter.
He ducked down and opened the door slowly. Then, he took his costume and ran away. Flass was happy about it. He made Bullock hit him to show that Firebug overpowered him by chance when Bullock was checking his car.
....
On other side, Firebug saw some kids playing. It angered him. When he wore his costume in the shadows. He delusioned into seeing the buildings burning and saw people as live fire.
But it went off soon, he went into a nearby basement. Soon, he found flammable liquids and filled his tank. Then, he clicked his compressor connected with the tank and his gloves by a fireproof pipe.
Gas came and his smile, which grew wider when he lighted the lighter. Gas caught fire and became a flame thrower. He done the same with his other gas pipe.
With twin flamethrowers and his lunatic smile, he moved forward burning everything in his way.
....
Leif was flying around the lower East side end when he sensed fear of fire in his black butterfly mode. He flew towards the direction immediately. There, he saw a building on fire with fearful thoughts of tenants inside.
He also sensed a gleeful joy of a pyrophyllite. He also sensed the vile thoughts of Flass and Bullock, who were behind all the scenes. Leif grunted and flew towards the building in his shiny blue butterfly mode.
Seeing him, Flass called the taskforce.

Montoya POV
On other side, Sir Gordon and me were on our way to the east side end.
Gordon " DAMN! This is just like Flass and Bullock. They do what they want. But to involve innocent people of East side end! I am going to make them pay for it."
At that time, Flass voice was heard again.
Flass" I repeat that Mr butterfly is here! Taskforce arrive here immediately! Firebug has also torched the building! He's inside!"
Hearing this....
Gordon" They are making the building into a war zone."
He opened the line and said.
Gordon" Nobody moves until I arrive."
Saying that he doubled the speed.
