By now, Yu Yachen had more or less figured out how the third bomb worked.
She'd tested it on cats and dogs, random pedestrians, vagrants she'd dragged off the street in simulations, and on Chen Huijie as well.
She'd even used the third bomb on Exusiai and Lao Li—though to avoid hurting their feelings, she'd made those sigils invisible.
The result: it didn't work on Lao Li, but it did work on Exusiai. In Exusiai's case, all Yu did was blow away the girl's memory of having nightmares at night.
From that, she'd drawn a conclusion.
The third bomb's condition was that, deep down, the target had to acknowledge they were beneath Yu Yachen. Not in a simple superior–subordinate sense, but on a far more personal, fundamental level of recognition.
Of course, the requirement wasn't that strict. Because of what had happened during their two years of high school, Chen Huijie still saw Yu as an unfathomable figure—and half as an older sister. So the third bomb worked on her too.
In short, all she had to do was beat people into submission.
"Hey, system, if I take out these two wastes of space—Secco and Cioccolata—do I get a reward?"
Yu Yachen asked lazily.
[Host, are you trying to collect seven Stands and summon the dragon? ()]
"Wouldn't say no."
[Never seen anyone as greedy as you! And you're the one who called them trash—what reward are you expecting the system to give you? Forget it. (눈) ]

Pretty sensible for once, Yu thought.
"Bitch…"
Secco spat out a mouthful of blood.
"You actually did something so adorable to me!"
He cursed hoarsely.
"…?"
Adorable? Yu Yachen blinked.
"No, wait—"
Secco froze.
"Not adorable. Appetizing—not right either…"
"It's 'despicable,'" Yu corrected, her face returning to its usual blankness.
This guy did not seem particularly bright.
"I get it! You think you're a language teacher or something?!" Secco snarled.
"Your Stand's the same as mine—a close-range Power type, yeah? But it doesn't matter; this time, I won't get close to you again—"
He didn't get to finish.
"Star Platinum—The World."
The ticking of a clock running backwards echoed with her words. The instant Yu Yachen spoke, everything stopped—Secco included, frozen mid-sentence.
What a chatterbox, she thought.
The muscular, purple Star Platinum appeared behind her.
Maintaining a time stop required Star Platinum's constant focus, so she couldn't summon Killer Queen at the same time. But with Star Platinum's punching speed, killing a man didn't even take a full second.
"ORAAAAA—!"
Yu stepped up to Secco. Star Platinum inhaled deeply behind her, then drove its fists into the motionless man's body.
"ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA—ORA!"
In only a few seconds, Star Platinum had thrown dozens of punches. Secco's muscles twisted and deformed, his whole body crushed and kneaded like dough.
Then time flowed again.
"Guaaah—!"
As the world resumed, all the damage Star Platinum had inflicted registered at once. Secco screamed, blasted through the outer wall.
CRASH—!
He punched through a section of masonry, leaving a man-shaped hole in the wall, and his broken body tumbled toward the ground several stories below.
Even if other Stand users caught him, he'd be dead on impact; Star Platinum had pulverized every bone in his body.
Yu Yachen wasn't done. Her pale blue pupils contracted back into vertical slits as she turned toward the window again.
She leaped onto the sill, using the height to scan the rooftops.
After a brief search, she spotted him—a green-haired man on a rooftop beside a water pipe, watching this direction through a pair of binoculars.
A lab coat, and a ridiculous hairstyle.
"Hi there~"
Yu remembered his name: Cioccolata. She smiled brightly and waved down at him.
He clearly had no interest in being friendly. In one smooth motion, he pulled a standard-issue firearm from his pocket and aimed up at her.
Yu sighed internally. Why does everyone harbor so much hostility toward me?
"Star Platinum—The World."
Yu stopped time again.
When the world resumed, the white-haired woman had already appeared right in front of the green-haired man like a ghost.
"?!"
The sudden close-quarters presence made Cioccolata jump. He instinctively pulled the trigger at her head—
Bang! Bang bang!
Muzzle flashes lit the air, but none of the bullets hit. Yu Yachen just tilted her head slightly, letting all the rounds whistle past.
Half-dinosaurized, this kind of low-end firearm couldn't threaten her anymore.
Killer Queen materialized beside her. Before Cioccolata could fire again, the pale pink Stand punched straight through his heart.
Slash!
Yu recalled his Stand: Green Day.
Anything moving downward within its range would be infected by a lethal mold. The corpse that had crashed down onto Lao Li's vehicle earlier was probably one of Cioccolata's victims.
Without Star Platinum, dealing with him would've been a real headache.
Unfortunately for him, mold couldn't grow in a world where time had stopped.
Killer Queen withdrew its bloody fist. At the same time, the system chimed in her head.

[Host, that was… a little fast, don't you think?]
It ended with a snarky aside.
Yu Yachen rummaged through her memory. She vaguely recalled The Lock—some side character's Stand from Part 4, maybe? She'd remembered all the important stuff; this one clearly hadn't made the cut.
Still, if the system said it synergized with her third bomb, she might as well summon it and see.
"The Lock."
Yu spoke calmly.
Chains rattled in the air.
A dog collar appeared in her hand.
"…?"

The electronic voice practically bounced with glee.
[As long as they wear this, and you pair it with the third bomb, you can turn people into your very own dogs! Woof! ]
It even barked for emphasis.
