The endless cosmos rippled like water.Far beyond the reach of light and sound, something ancient and boundless began to awaken — a presence greater than any known force in existence.
That power surged across time and space, through infinite parallel worlds, carrying the weight of judgment itself. Every living being across every reality would soon face a revelation beyond imagination:
In the vastness of the multiverse, everyone exists in countless forms.
Some are heroes. Some are villains. Some save the world. Others destroy it.Some live ordinary lives; others become gods.
And today, that secret would be revealed to all.
A tidal wave of light swept through every plane of existence, flooding cities and wastelands alike, skyscrapers and hidden bunkers, until every corner of every universe shone under its radiance.
Marvel Universe – Earth-199999
Inside Tony Stark's Malibu mansion, the evening sun poured through the glass walls, painting the room in warm gold.Tony sat with a glass of whiskey in hand, smirking at the man across from him — Nick Fury, director of S.H.I.E.L.D.
"The Avengers Initiative?"
Tony raised an eyebrow. "Sounds like something out of a comic book."
"Let me guess — you want to build a team of superheroes to save the world?"
Fury didn't flinch. The reflection of the sunset glinted off his eyepatch as he leaned forward.
"The threats we're facing are far bigger than you think, Stark. What you fought in New York — that was just the tip of the iceberg. We need power. People like you."
Tony chuckled and swirled his drink.
"I am power, Fury. I'm Iron Man. What more do you need?"
And that's when the entire room exploded in light.
It didn't come from outside — it materialized in the air itself, flooding the villa with a brilliance that burned through every shadow.
Tony leapt to his feet. The glass slipped from his hand and shattered on the floor.
"Damn it! JARVIS, analyze that energy source!"
"Sir," the AI replied, its voice edged with confusion, "I can't detect any known energy signature. Whatever this is, it's... beyond analysis."
Even Fury was rattled. He drew his sidearm on instinct, scanning the blinding light. He'd seen gods, monsters, and aliens — but this was something else.
The glow intensified until the whole room turned white. Then, out of the air, a massive book appeared — ancient, heavy with power, its cover carved with glowing runes that pulsed in every color imaginable.
The book flipped open by itself, and a towering screen of light unfolded across the ceiling. Words of pure energy burned into view, echoing like thunder in their minds:
"Have you ever wondered — across the infinite multiverse, how many versions of you exist?"
"Some save the world. Some destroy it."
"Some are as ordinary as dust. Some rival the gods."
"Today, the Multiverse Record begins!"
"Bear witness to the countless destinies that unfold beyond your own world!"
Tony's arc reactor glowed faintly as he stared up, speechless.
"Multiverse?" he muttered. "That's impossible."
"If that's real... then there are infinite versions of me?"
Fury's single eye narrowed. His voice dropped low.
"If that's true, then our threats don't just come from this world. They could come from any world."
He turned to Tony, his tone grim.
"We're accelerating the Avengers Initiative. Immediately."
Tony exhaled, gaze fixed on the hovering book. Fear, awe, curiosity — all of it flickered across his face.
"Yeah... maybe you're right, Fury. If there are other Starks out there, there might be other dangers too. Guess we'd better be ready."
DC Universe – The Snyderverse
Night draped Gotham in its usual shroud of clouds. The Wayne Tower stood like a cold beacon against the skyline, its lights piercing the gloom.
Bruce Wayne, fresh from a long day at the company, steered his sleek car down the winding drive toward Wayne Manor. For Gotham's richest man — and its silent guardian — life was a constant balance between light and darkness.
The city was unusually quiet tonight. Even the usual lowlifes seemed to have vanished.Bruce frowned. In Gotham, quiet was never good news.
He parked, handed his coat to Alfred, who greeted him with his trademark calm.
"Good evening, Master Bruce. A peaceful night, I hope?"
"Too peaceful," Bruce replied. "Maybe I'll get some rest before something breaks that streak."
But before he could take another step, the world turned white.
Blinding light filled the manor, seeping through every wall and floorboard. Bruce tensed instantly, muscles coiled, eyes scanning for threats.
"Alfred, activate the defense grid!"
"Already on it, sir — but... all systems are normal. No sign of intrusion."
Then it appeared: the same floating book, etched with runes that shimmered like living things.
Bruce's mind raced.
"Some kind of projection tech? Maybe gas-induced hallucination?"
"No. Too precise. Someone's behind this."
The book opened, casting a holographic screen across the ceiling. The same booming words appeared, echoing in his mind.
Bruce let out a cold laugh.
"A multiverse? Cute. Another lunatic with a god complex."
He stepped forward and reached out — his hand passed straight through.
"Hologram. Impressive, but still tech. Alfred, prep the car. I'm taking this thing to the Batcave. We'll find out who built it — and shut them down."
Alfred hesitated.
"Perhaps caution, sir. This... doesn't seem like anything human."
Bruce didn't slow down.
"Magic, multiverses — whatever. Everything has an explanation. I'll find it."
X-Men Universe – The New Timeline
At Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, tension hung thick in the air.In the meeting room, the core X-Men gathered around Professor Charles Xavier. Sweat beaded on his brow — even his powerful mind felt the strain of what was coming.
"The Sentinel program is in its final phase," said Hank McCoy, adjusting his glasses. "They can adapt, evolve, even mimic mutant abilities."
"Then we hit them before they're ready," growled Logan, claws sliding out with a metallic snikt. "Better than sitting around waiting to die."
"Recklessness won't help us," said Storm. "These Sentinels are beyond anything we've faced."
Scott turned to Charles.
"Professor, what do we do? How much time do we have?"
Charles's voice was heavy.
"Days. Maybe a week. If we fail, mutants everywhere will be wiped out."
Silence fell. Then the school itself erupted in light.
A blinding surge swept through the walls, through every corridor and chamber.
Logan's claws flashed.
"Incoming! Everyone, ready up!"
Storm's eyes went white; lightning danced at her fingertips. Cyclops's hand moved to his visor.
But Charles raised a trembling hand.
"Wait... I sense no hostility. It's... not an attack."
And then, once again, the ancient book appeared — its pages turning by themselves as the glowing screen spread across the ceiling.
The same voice, the same words, resounded in every mind.
"Have you ever wondered, across infinite universes, how many versions of you exist?"
"Some save the world. Some end it."
"Today, the Multiverse Record begins."
"Watch... and see your other selves."
The X-Men stared upward — stunned, wary, but unable to look away.
Something vast had begun, and none of their worlds would ever be the same.
