Chapter 15 - The Death of Uchiha

Illusion techniques, at their core, belong to the realm of spiritual control—disrupting a ninja's chakra flow and severing their connection to their own body. On a deeper level, they drag the victim into the nightmare crafted by the caster.

Similarly, Conqueror's Haki is also a skill rooted in the domain of spiritual power—intimidating the soul, shaking the very will of others!

The stronger one's spirit, the greater its influence on the physical world—darkening the heavens and silencing all creation.

In One Piece, every time the Conqueror's Haki appears, the sky dims and the world trembles—its power is absolute.

Thus, whether it's Conqueror's Haki or illusionary techniques, their essence remains the same—a clash of spirits!

When Leo fell under Uchiha Shiro's Sharingan illusion, his Conqueror's Haki was accidentally triggered.

The overwhelming might of his Haki directly shattered the genjutsu and even turned the pressure back onto Uchiha Shiro!

At this moment, Jiraku's entire body trembled uncontrollably. Terror seized his heart, and he didn't even dare to meet Leo's gaze.

Never before had a ninja dared to look directly into the eyes of a Uchiha—yet now, the tables had turned.

Leo, seizing the opportunity, didn't hesitate for even a second.

Whoosh!

With his incredible physical prowess, he appeared before Jiraku in an instant.

"What—!"

By now, the effect of the Haki was fading, and Jiraku snapped back to his senses—only to find Leo already at point-blank range.

Too late to dodge.

Leo's eyes were calm and cold. He raised one hand, and in his palm appeared a deep-blue sphere of swirling energy.

Any Naruto fan seeing this scene would have cried out on the spot—

"Rasengan!"

That's right. It was the Rasengan.

After three months of training, Leo had not only honed his body and Haki but had also managed to recreate this legendary, seal-less ninjutsu!

The essence of the Rasengan lies in chakra compression and precise control—it doesn't require elemental transformation and can be used instantly. It was, at this point, the perfect ninjutsu for him.

"Rasengan!"

Leo roared, thrusting his palm forward. The spinning sphere slammed straight into Uchiha Shiro's abdomen.

"AAAHHH!"

Jiraku's pupils dilated to their limits, his eyeballs bulging as the sphere tore through his insides like a storm. The raw rotational force shredded his flak jacket to tatters.

With a loud bang, his body was blasted backward, crashing hard into a tree trunk before crumpling lifelessly to the ground.

Leo walked over, staring blankly at the motionless corpse of Uchiha Shiro.

From his ninja pouch, he drew a kunai and, without hesitation, stabbed Jiraku's heart four or five times—cold and precise.

Only after confirming there was no breath left did he finally relax, exhaling softly.

Only the dead tell no tales.

Such is the cruel reality of the shinobi world—then, now, and always.

After witnessing his own small village massacred, Leo had already understood this truth.

Ding!

EXP +100!

EXP +50!

EXP +50!

EXP +30!

EXP +300!

A series of system notifications rang out. His experience bar shot upward like mad.

In the blink of an eye, it broke through 1200/1000, reaching the threshold for a skill upgrade!

This was by far the fastest level-up he'd ever achieved—more than the past three months combined.

In that instant, Leo understood—this time, it was because he had been killed.

No matter the game, killing is always the quickest way to gain experience.

Bang!

A puff of white smoke appeared before him, and a golden treasure chest materialized out of thin air. The system had dropped another loot chest!

Its surface gleamed with radiant gold light, dazzling like a pay-to-win item.

Of course, only Leo could see it—no one else could sense its presence.

Heart pounding with excitement, Leo opened the chest. A brilliant light flared, forcing him to squint. When it faded, he finally saw what lay inside—

A fruit roughly the size of a fist, shaped like a pineapple, its surface adorned with faint, fiery patterns that seemed to dance with a mysterious allure.

A Devil Fruit—it was a Devil Fruit!

At the same moment, information about it flowed into Leo's mind.

Mera Mera no Mi (Flame-Flame Fruit)—a Logia-type Devil Fruit. The user can transform their body into fire, create flames at will, and become immune to physical attacks. Its power scales with the user's own strength!

The same fruit once possessed by Ace in One Piece—one of the strongest among Logia types!

If he ate it, his power would skyrocket.

However, Leo didn't plan to eat it just yet. The Forest of Death was full of unknown dangers; it wasn't safe. If something unexpected happened, he'd regret it.

Suppressing his excitement, Leo stored the golden chest in his system inventory and looked down at Jiraku's corpse. He decided to bury him.

"Rasengan!"

He used the technique again to blast open a grave-sized hole, then kicked Jiraku's body into it.

After all, the "mob" had dropped him such a good item—he at least deserved a proper burial.

He quickly filled the hole back in, leaving no trace. Just as he breathed a sigh of relief—

His Observation Haki suddenly picked up an unfamiliar presence nearby—stealthy, well-hidden, something he hadn't noticed at all until now.

Danger signals flared in his mind—the intruder was strong!

"Come out!" Leo called coldly.

But the forest remained silent—only echoes of his own voice, the rustling of leaves, and the distant cry of a night hawk.

There was no mistake—Observation Haki didn't lie. The other party's concealment skills were simply exceptional.

Sensing no malice, Leo said evenly, "If you won't come out, then I'm leaving."

He turned to go without hesitation.

"Hehe… leaving already, little brat? Feeling guilty?"

A soft, teasing female voice drifted from the shadows. From the darkness, a graceful silhouette emerged.

Under the faint moonlight, Leo finally saw her face—and froze.

Her?

He knew this woman all too well.

The great sucker herself—Tsunade.

The future Fifth Hokage, and without question, the most beautiful woman in Konoha.

And, of course, owner of those world-shattering assets.

Across the Five Great Nations, no woman could rival her—neither in power nor in… presence.

In his past life, she had been the dream goddess of countless otaku—including him.

Never did he expect to see her in person now—and reality was even more stunning than fantasy.

Leo's eyes briefly flicked across her chest, then quickly looked away—a gentleman's courtesy, not lechery.

Meeting her youthful gaze, he asked deliberately,

"Who are you?"
