So yeah, Jack was doing well now.
His mom had just finished one of those "God-save-my-traumatized-son" prayers and kissed him on the forehead.
I mean… come on. He's 16. What is he, a giant baby?
Anyway, after they left, Jack couldn't stop thinking about the nightmare he had.
He pulled down the collar of his hospital gown and noticed something weird on his chest — like a scar. yeah it looked clean.
like someone had performed surgery on him while he was unconscious.
Damn… these aliens are really on hard drugs at this point.
Then — knock knock.
Jack turned. Two people stepped into the room. They looked like they came from a spy movie: black coats, serious expressions, boots that definitely made noise on purpose.

One of them… looked familiar.
Not the alien guy.
The one who broke him out of the pod.

Captain Michael.
And beside him? A 16 year old asain girl,her name?
Suzune Haruno.

Jack blinked. "Hey i remember u ,who are u ? why are u here?"
Michael chuckled. "seems u are doping well Jack,u should be thanking us since we pulled your ass out of that gooey nightmare ."
Suzune stepped forward and dropped a hologram onto the hospital table. It showed strange, glitchy images — alien shapes, dark labs, maps with red blinking lights across the globe.
She began:
"Jack, the thing you saw…
They're called Vahlrix. Paranormal species from Pluto."
Jack blinked. "I thought Pluto wasn't even a planet anymore."
Michael smirked. "NERD." as he proceeds to take an apple ,bro
Anyways Suzune continued:
"They've been invading for two years now — quietly.
and theyve been crating mutation experiments.
See, they can't breathe Earth's air. So they tried to fuse. Adapt.
Adults were too strong, too smart… so they went for kids."

Jack's throat went dry. "So… what? I'm some science fair experiment?"

Nightmares. Seizures. Hallucinations. Sometimes… death.
But others? They develop… abilities."
Jack looked down at the scar again.
"So either I'm gonna gain superpowers or I'm gonna die in my sleep?"
Suzune shrugged. "Depends how fast you learn to control it."
