Chapter 3 - Brothers are too handsome

I was shocked to the point of losing my voice.

How could something like this even happen? How could my *face* change?

For twenty-two years of my life, I had lived with the same face. Yet after just one measly one-hour nap, I woke up looking completely different. What the hell was going on with my looks?

And these clothes—what was I even wearing? I argued with the fabric as if it was my enemy.

"Don't get me wrong," I muttered, tugging at the layers, "I'm not against clothes… but still I prefer my comfortable clothes"

Instead, I was draped in this long, flowy dress. Like a maxi dress… but still, way too extra. Of course, being desi, I was used to shalwar kameez, but this? This was on a whole new level.

Before I could process more, I heard commotion outside the room.

The door opened, and two people entered—an elegant lady with several young men following behind. The men were a little older than me, but still… wow. Calling them "handsome" would be an understatement. They were *freaking gorgeous.*

My jaw dropped open, completely betraying me. I couldn't help it. But then a thought struck me like lightning—if my mother had seen me gawking like this, then she would throw the slipper at me across the dimensions.

The lady rushed toward me, snapping me out of my daze. I realized I was sitting awkwardly on the floor. Earlier, when I screamed, I had stumbled and fallen down. She helped me up gently, her eyes scanning me with concern.

I tried to piece together the situation. One thing became clear: this wasn't some prank pulled by my brother.

Two possibilities remained—

Either I was imagining all of this… or I had really traveled back in time.

If it was just imagination, then I should've woken up by now. I daydream all the time—imagining myself as a celebrity while lounging at home—but I always know I'm still in my house. That possibility felt unlikely.

Which left only the second one…

The kind lady asked, "Are you hurt somewhere?"

I froze.

She spoke again, voice filled with worry: "Did you go out last night?"

I blinked. *Wait… what?*

How the hell was I understanding her? She was clearly speaking in Chinese, yet my brain was processing every word!

Panic set in. My mind spiraled: *What? How? Why? What am I supposed to do?*

The more I tried to make sense of it, the more my head throbbed. Pain spread like fire through my skull. Overwhelmed, dizzy, and terrified, I fainted.
