Chapter 122 - Chapter 123: Birthday gifts assembly

The video began.

[Two years ago.]

Under the lava sea.

Close to the landing platform for newborns.

A golden circle appeared, and a familiar little boy covered in white mist dropped out of it.

At this moment, he seems to be sleeping.

A little fairy on the platform farther away flew over to him.

After being unable to wake him or pick him up, the fairy went to call for help.

Everything was the same as what the world had shown everyone until this part.

But the view suddenly changed from the moment Little Mortal's figure disappeared.

It now seems to be a 'first-person view'.

And when the kind and trustworthy-looking old man,

or God of Thievery, to be exact, showed up,

The 'camera angle' moved towards him.

It was now obvious who was controlling the 'camera'!

It was Mortal, the Lawless, and he for sure used the memory function of his crystal to create a video clip of his memory.

What they were seeing now was his 'first-person point of view'.

The little boy and the old man stared at each other.

One obviously couldn't see the other one, though.

After a while, God of Thievery left in confusion, and the little boy followed him.

The two reached the platform.

At this moment, another golden ring appeared, exactly above the platform.

A little girl covered in blue mist dropped out, which many on planet Lubo recognized.

The same newborn who defeated a certain guardian in the newborn's ceremony and turned him into an ice statue.

God of Thievery smiled, waved his finger, and a small ice flower came out of the blue mist.

The audience knew it was her birth treasure that God of Thievery stole from her before leaving with a satisfied smile.

The newborn remained suspended in the air, and followed him a moment after.

The kind old man, the floating little girl, and the invisible little boy continued their journey.

God of Thievery went to different secret-looking doors until he arrived in front of a simple wall that turned out to be a secret passage to a hidden place.

The three went inside.

The little boy was keep looking around with curiosity,

But he never left the old man's side.

As though a grandpa brought his grandson out to show him his workplace, and the grandson obediently followed.

Then they arrived at a large white building and went inside.

In there, God of Thievery waved his hand and threw the little girl into a room with God of Contract in it while saying,

"Let the kid sign the contract to keep her mouth shut,

and send her to the facility after that."

God of Contract nodded while receiving her.

After that, God of Thievery and his invisible companion left the building, which now everybody knew was the same secret facility to extract law from newborns.

The same facility that exploded and killed many of them.

After a while, the two reached the castle of the God of Thievery.

The two walked in, and after going through secret doors and passages one after another, they arrived at an empty room.

God of Thievery raised his hand and opened a door in the empty space in front of him, and walked in with the little boy.

Another castle, like the one they just walked into, came into view.

Everyone raised their eyebrow.

So this old thief actually hid his real castle inside a fake one?

The two walked inside again, and after a while, they reached a large door that seemed to be the entrance to a safe.

God of Thievery, after unlocking and unsealing many locks for 2 hours straight, finally opened the safe door.

The little boy who was sitting in a corner until now, as if he was bored, stood up and ran to his 'grandpa thief'.

Even the audience was speechless when they saw the number of locks and seals on the door of this safe.

But when they entered, not only the little boy, but even the audience who were watching and felt their eyes deceiving them, couldn't agree more with the number of locks and seals on the entrance of this place!

Shelf after shelf, all of them at least 10 meters high, were filled with all kinds of treasures!

What even was this collection?

While everyone was amazed, the two separated.

God of Thievery, while chuckling, started cleaning and admiring his collection, which no one could blame him for doing so.

And the little boy, who seemed to be shocked, started moving in another direction.

But like a good grandson, he didn't touch any of his grandpa's treasures until he saw a black martial arts outfit.

On it was a paper with a sentence.

[Take me if you can take revenge for my dead master and save all the newborns in the world!]

The audience was speechless.

What kind of impossible request was that?

After a short pause,

Little Mortal said "Sure." confidently, as if accepted the terms and picked up the black martial arts clothes to put them on.

The outsiders exactly knew what this outfit and the sentence meant.

This was a birth treasure belonging to a newborn who died in their mainland.

A strong newborn with an interesting story closely related to 'Lord' and with a goal of saving all newborns in their mainland.

God of Thievery was the one who snatched his birth treasure when he died.

But nobody knew about the paper, even God of Thievery, because on the day he 'stole' this birth treasure, its owner was already dead, so he didn't steal it in reality and only took it away.

This smart birth treasure had been pretending to be 'stolen' for millions, if not billions, of years, until the day an opportunity arose and it could sneak out of here!

And today it saw the 'opportunity', Little Mortal.

The martial arts outfit was so shocked that day to see someone was here, that tried to communicate with him on a piece of paper while avoiding any spiritual message that could be tracked down by the God of Thievery.

The little boy, after putting on the martial arts clothes,

looked around a little more, found a bottle that was written on it 'Infinite fake blood', and took it away too.

After that, he didn't even look at anything else and went back towards the door.

It was as if he had a certain goal in mind this time.

When he arrived back at the door,

On a corner that no one might care about, he saw an old black bicycle.

The little boy looked at it, nodded, and then pointed at it while a childish voice sounded,

"I choose you as my birthday gift."

The bicycle vibrated and then changed shape.

It turned into a small horse.

The little boy shook his head,

"I want a tricycle."

And the horse changed again.

The little boy nodded in approval,

jumped on his tricycle and rode it towards the exit.

The audience's jaw dropped!

Who didn't recognize this hated black bicycle in the mainland?

He took ownership of it just like that?

It didn't take long for Little Mortal to come out of the main and fake castle riding on his tricycle, or his first birthday gift to be exact.

Not long after, he was at the bottom of the lava sea, going in a random direction.

The crowd was speechless.

Between all those cool-looking treasures,

He actually took this one?

The birth treasure of the most annoying god in the mainland?

Now everyone understood why, after God of Thievery was sealed in his castle some time ago, he never left.

It was because his birth treasure was taken away, and he couldn't!

As the little boy's journey continued under the lava sea,

He suddenly stopped and looked up.

The whole lava sea suddenly started shaking, and a shock wave produced from God of Thievery's angry shout echoed through the lava sea!

"Who?

Who dares to steal from me?"

And he appeared in the sky above the lava sea.

His aura was surging; his white hair and beard danced in the air from anger, and his eyes were bloodshot.

Nothing was left of his kind and benevolent appearance!

Only rage!

The little boy down in the lava sea gasped and muttered,

"Blubluulbu?"

But because it was the mainland's language, everyone understood the meaning,

"There is a thief around here?"

The audience,

"-_-"

There are two, actually, one in the sky and one in the sea.

It didn't take long before two other higher beings showed up.

One was a buffed man full of muscle, with a headband and two wristbands,

That Little Mortal gasped again when he saw his imposing figure.

And the other one was a lady, with the illusion of stars and galaxies revolving around her and a mirror on her waist.

She was Space Goddess.

The man, God of Power, said,

"Calm down, old man.

What are you doing up here?

Based on our agreement, you should stay down there."

God of Thievery responded in anger,

"Shut up!

I do whatever I want!

Don't you dare stop me!"

Space Goddess snorted, waved her hand, and sealed the space.

"The agreement is clear, you are going nowhere."

God of Thievery, who was scanning every corner of the Lava Sea to find the thief, snapped,

"You two brats!

Do you think you can stop me?"

And waved his hand.

Out of nowhere, two items appeared in his hand.

The audience's mouth twitched just from seeing him using his Law of Thievery.

Just a wave, and the two big shots lost two random treasures.

God of Power gritted his teeth and said coldly,

"You want to test my patience, old man?

Well, let me tell you, I have none."

And his figure disappeared.

Two wristbands and a headband were left in his place, which fell from the sky to the Lava Sea below.

The next moment, with a *boom*, God of Thievery was sent flying to the horizon.

A man with bulging muscles and veins all over his body like rivers was now standing in his place!

The audience was impressed!

God of Power, without any restrictions, was scary!

The little boy looked at the muscle man for a while, then at the headband, which was falling to the sea alongside the wristbands.

Then he pointed at them,

"Blubluulbu."

A moment later, under the speechless gaze of the audience, Little Mortal with two wristbands and a headband was watching the fight between the young and powerful Power God, and the old but angry God of Thievery.

Seeing the fight getting out of hand,

Space Goddess was forced to keep the seal stable with some fancy moves related to her Law of Space.

The little boy's attention was drawn to her this time.

Then he raised his hand again, pointed at the lady, and said,

"Blubluulbu."

While the Space Goddess was busy, without her notice, a small passage opened beside her, and the mirror hanging on her waist went inside.

The next moment, a happy little boy, with probably a mirror on his waist, was riding away.

The audience couldn't believe their eyes...

He just took away three birth treasures in a row and left happily!

Behind the little boy, Space Goddess, who realized her birth treasure was missing, panicked and left in a random direction through a space passage.

With her departure, the sealed space shattered in a moment.

Big lava waves began moving in every direction, like a tsunami, heading towards the mainland.

But a certain little boy didn't care at all.

He was at the bottom of the sea, and nothing affected him down there.

He only muttered to himself while leaving and shaking his head as though he was disappointed,

"Bluuub, Bulublub."

Which translates to,

"So uncultured, so savage."

The scene changed.

The little boy reached the shore.

Behind him, a big tsunami was getting close.

It was at least 3000 meters high.

A loud voice came from afar,

"What are you two doing? Stop!"

And God of Judgment appeared above Little Mortal's head, who pointed at his hammer, and left without even stopping after receiving another birthday gift.

Not long after, the angry roar of God of Judgment sounded from behind him,

"You old thief!

Now you even dare to steal from me?"

And a humongous scale appeared in the sky behind Little Mortal.

And then another angry shout,

"I never stole from you!

But I do it now!"

The whole area started shaking!

Little mortal with a trembling voice muttered to himself,

"I-is it another thief?

O-or the same one?"

The audience answered in their minds,

'The same one...'

On his way, Little Mortal saw three more people.

Two were like a couple.

God of Gluttony and Goddess of Health and Home.

They came to stop the tsunami coming this way, which was now bigger and scarier than before, ready to swallow their castles.

And while they were busy, they lost a pot and a pair of candies.

The third person was a scary lady.

Goddess of Punishment, who came here to catch the thief and punish him, but lost her punishment stick.

In this scene, when Little Mortal looked at the stick, his new birthday gift, he saw a small cage hanging on its handle.

He paused for a moment and then separated the cage, which became slightly bigger, and while hanging it on his waist, muttered,

"I didn't know they could be twins.

I got lucky this time."

On Planet Lubo, the birth treasures 'turned' to the cage and the stick.

< So these two are twins? >

< You didn't know? >

< I didn't know the cage was the same cage hanging on the stick! >

< No wonder the day the stick accidentally hit the cage,

and two of the higher beings inside were freed,

the cage didn't blame it, and the stick didn't apologize. >

< So the two are family members, and these things are meaningless between them... >

< Who would blame their family for an accident, or apologize for causing it, that makes sense. >

The birth treasures continued watching the video.

Today, they finally understood how this little monster could have so many birth treasures as his own.

It wasn't because he was special, but because World Law allows it, and in the 'eyes' of World Law, anything belonging to higher beings was part of the 'bet', and it could be taken as a 'birthday gift'.

And naturally, the owner of the birthday gift should be able to use his gifts, right?

He wasn't a thief at all, and everything he did was justified...

Even though it was ridiculous, it was the reality.

Little Mortal's journey continued.

Behind him, whoever joined the fight thought that the old thief was the one stealing their birth treasure.

However, because World Law was preventing them from remembering the 'bet', and because they hadn't caught the real thief, they couldn't mention anything about their stolen birth treasures.

That's why the misunderstanding between them grew increasingly intense.

And one of them, God of Thievery, to be exact, while he seemed to be a Level 6, he was, in reality, a Level 7.

So even all of them together couldn't stop him easily.

Those who were fighting him that day wondered why he didn't use his Unstoppable Ride to just leave.

No one could stop him on his Unstoppable Ride.

However, they have now received the answer.

He didn't have it.

He, like the rest of them, was a victim.

Mortal, the troublemaker, was actually making trouble from the first day of his arrival, not only recently!

And now, in the video, he was an invisible boy, on an Unstoppable Ride, with a Space Mirror!

All those who didn't lose anything felt lucky.

Who could catch him with these birth treasures if he wasn't a lawless higher being who can't use them?

They all thought that this was World Law's way to balance his existence by not giving him any way to absorb Law.

Or he would be an entity 100 times worse than God of Thievery just with these two birth treasures.

But a certain group of birth treasures that knew he could order them around were at a loss for words.

< So that's why he could use us all at the same time... >

< While any higher being can only use one birth treasure, because of the bet, he actually owns us. >

< Yeah, in the 'eyes' of World Law, it's only natural for him to use us. >

< But because he acted as a lawless newborn,

everyone in the mainland thinks he can't use us,

and he can only hide us if we are in contact with his body. >

< Like what he did with the crystal to record the fight in the newborn's ceremony. >

< He did a good job fooling everyone in the mainland, or he could be exploited easily! >

< Because of his Newborn identity, he is indeed always on the edge!>

The scene changed again.

Little Mortal arrived in front of a castle that seemed to be more like a fancy library.

He walked in and saw two people, seemingly unconcerned by the chaos outside, talking and laughing with each other.

One was God of Knowledge, and the other was his number one fan, Goddess of Memory.

Little Mortal parked his tricycle at the door and went inside.

Seeing them busy, he didn't bother them.

He just walked in and looked at the many books inside.

Then his eyes locked onto a certain book.

[The Theory of Lawless Divine Techniques, Judgment Category]

Little Mortal picked up the book and read it with interest.

The technique described in the book would only judge you, and the others depend on your physical condition.

It was a book that God of Knowledge wrote, inspired by Judgment Law, but he concluded that only someone without any laws can use it for World Law to support such a technique.

For the audience in the mainland, that was like a waste of time, because what was the point of judging others if you are lawless?

Even if a miracle were to happen and he could use the technique, they were stronger than he was in any condition.

But for the audience on Planet Lubo,

It was like the origin story of how this little monster found access to a weapon of mass destruction.

Wasn't he strong enough already?

Now he had his hand on such an unfair technique too, that even now many would go and watch him use it in 'guardian challenges' to beat up others with it.

After an hour, Little Mortal placed the book where it was while nodding as if he had learned everything.

He then went back to where the two were, but didn't see them this time.

Only a glasses and a notebook were left behind on the table where they had previously been.

The audience took a deep breath out of frustration.

They knew two more birthday gifts were going to join his collection...

The scene changed.

Now, glasses were added to the little boy's face.

While riding his tricycle,

Little Mortal arrived at a place with two castles, farther away, and two old higher being playing a board game outside of it on the grassland.

From the big backpack and the medkit on it,

The identity of both was evident.

The old man was God of Adventure,

And the old lady in white was Divine Doctor.

In this scene, Little Mortal just left.

The audience thought these two weren't invited to his birthday party, which wasn't a surprise.

They weren't greedy for Law like most higher beings.

But in the extended version on Planet Lubo, Little Mortal walked towards the two and watched them playing.

When they were done with this round of the game, he said,

"Hello."

And gave a heart attack to the two who suddenly saw a little boy appear out of nowhere.

God of Adventure chuckled,

"You scared me, little one."

And the old lady said,

"Hello to you, too, invisible boy."

Little mortal nodded and asked,

"I am Mortal. Who are you?"

The old man smiled,

"I am God of Adventure."

And the lady said,

"Divine Doctor."

Hearing the names, Little Mortal furrowed,

"If you are an adventurer,

And you are a doctor,

Why aren't you at work?

You should go see the world,

And you should treat the sick people."

The two laughed,

And answered at the same time,

"We are retired."

The answer that maybe if they didn't give, would change their fate, probably for the worse though.

Little Mortal gasped!

"Now I remembered you!

You are that famous guy, Mr. Marco Polo!

After 24 years of travel, you are finally retired.

And you, lady, you are Dr. Quinn.

So you retired too?"

The two looked at the little boy talking nonsense,

And start laughing, saying,

"Yes, yes, we are retired."

And then they went back to their game.

After a while, Little Mortal pointed at their birth treasures,

"So you don't use those anymore?"

And the two looked at their birth treasures,

Or to be exact, at a set of black suits and sleepwear on them, and shook their heads while going back to their game.

"No, we don't need them."

Little Mortal nodded when he heard their answer.

But he still sat down with them and watched them play.

An hour later, he got tired and left.

But now, he had a big backpack and a research team with him.

The backpack was now completely speechless.

Their master's actually thought he meant the suit and sleepwear when he asked, 'So you don't use those anymore?',

not their birth treasures!

They probably left the suit and sleepwear as a gift for the newborn, whom they bet with.

But after the bet was started, they forgot about him,

And unconsciously, they just said they didn't need them, so the newborn coming can take them away.

But a certain little boy instead stuffed them inside the backpack and took everything with him ...

...

Back in the mainland,

The censored version of the video showed Little Mortal sitting alone on the shore of the Lava Sea.

He was watching the apocalyptic fight between the big shots from a distance.

At this moment, a shining gem suddenly fell in front of him from the sky.

Feeling 'lucky', he smiled and stretched his hand to pick it up, but another hand was faster.

A lady out of nowhere appeared and picked up the gem.

Little Mortal looked at the lady in shock.

Everyone recognized the luckiest lady of the mainland, Goddess of Luck, who arrived at the shore to watch the fight and try her luck in this chaos.

The audience looked annoyed.

She just arrived, and an unknown Gem just dropped in front of her.

But it seems it wasn't enough, and while throwing a gold coin up and down, she muttered,

"I wish I could get lucky again!"

However, while standing on the shore, one of the times that she flipped her coin up, the coin never came down again.

The audience who saw the little boy snatching his new birthday gift and witnessed Goddess of Luck joining the loser's team didn't know what to think.

She wished herself luck, but probably for the first time in her life, she got unlucky!

The scene changed again.

Little Mortal seems to be lost in the grasslands of the mainland, and he was going around aimlessly on his tricycle.

But suddenly something appeared on the horizon, flying over towards him!

When he saw what it was, he became excited!

A lady with sparkling special effects around her, who was really 'entertaining' to watch, suddenly passed by without paying attention to the little boy who was jumping up and down, waving at her!

The audience was pretty sure he was invisible, and Entertainment Goddess didn't even see him.

Little Mortal wasn't disappointed, though.

He just nodded and said,

"Oh, it seems big sister was in a hurry!

But now I know where she lives!

She came from that direction!"

And so, Little Mortal jumped on his tricycle and rode it in the opposite direction from the way Entertainment Goddess was flying.

The scene ended there for the mainland audience, and nobody saw what happened after.

But it continued in Planet Lubo.

Not long after, a big screen appeared on the horizon.

Little Mortal chuckled and rode towards it,

"That's big sister's castle.

I remember she told me everyone can see it from most places on the mainland."

Then he shouted excitedly,

"Old friend, I'm coming!"

The birth treasures only now understood why he kept calling their colleague, the crystal, an old friend.

It turned out they indeed knew each other from even before the time Entertainment Goddess made a deal with him!

Or why would she trust him like that and use her divine technique to announce the bet in mainland?

Not long after, Little Mortal arrived at the big gate in front of Entertainment Goddess's castle.

The gate, as if recognizing him, opened by itself, and a red path opened in front of him.

The path led directly to a specific location within the castle.

Little Mortal didn't go anywhere else and just followed the path.

On his way, he stumbled across a manifested phoenix, which tried to stop him when it saw him and didn't recognize this intruder.

This manifested phoenix was specifically enhanced by Fire Law on one of those days that Entertainment Goddess was bored and didn't have anything to do.

She even gave it some simple tasks, like guarding the castle, which it did when it saw a little boy who wasn't its creator show up.

Seeing the phoenix trying to stop him,

Little Mortal, who wasn't invisible because he was in a friendly environment, jumped up and, with a spin kick, knocked it out.

Then he snorted and plucked a feather from its tail, as if he was dissatisfied with the phoenix.

A certain group of people in the Demoness Sect was especially speechless.

He told them the truth about the feather he had given Elder Sun...

The only thing he boasted about was the height of the phoenix, which was as small as himself, not thousands of meters.

It didn't take long before Little Mortal reached a room that seemed to be a server room.

In the room, the familiar crystal was floating at the center, and all around it were child crystals.

Because Entertainment Goddess knew if she took her main crystal with her to where the big shots of the mainland were fighting, they might avoid her or even stop.

That would ruin her content!

So she only took a child crystal with her.

Little Mortal looked around and nodded,

"That one in the center is the best one!

I remember my old friend, the best crystal big sister has, at a glance!

I chose you as my favorite borrowed crystal!

Let's go, buddy, we have things to do!"

The moment he said that, Entertainment Goddess walked in.

Or to be exact, her avatar.

She walked forward with a ticket in her hand.

But it seems her avatar couldn't find her target.

Little Mortal went to her and took the ticket from her hand.

The next moment, the avatar turned to sparkles, as if it did what it was supposed to do, and there was no need for it to exist anymore.

Little Mortal smiled, and with the ticket and crystal in hand, left happily.

The scene changed again, but this was still for those who were on Planet Lubo.

Little Mortal was now in a random place on the mainland.

He took out the ticket and tore it apart.

A passage opened in front of him, and he walked in.

The other side was a ruined place.

Looking at the debris, it was obvious that a magnificent building had once been here, which was now destroyed.

Little Mortal starts walking around looking for something.

He continued searching until he found a big but broken plaque.

On it was written,

[ Guardian Association.]

Little Mortal walked forward, and when he saw the name on the plaque, he kicked it while saying,

"What are you looking at?

Don't you see that the representative of Guardian Law is here?

Let's go, we have things to do!"

At this moment,

a 'dot' that nobody cared about, separated from the broken plaque.

The 'dot' above the word 'i' in 'guardian' word to be exact, and flew to him.

Little Mortal caught the flying dot,

and the dot changed in his hand to the familiar Guardian Token, which said with its mechanical voice,

[ Greetings, Chosen One. ]

Little Mortal nodded,

"Greetings, Mr. Token."

And then he walked back to the passage he had come from with the Guardian Token in hand.

Back in the mainland,

The scene changed again after the part Little Mortal saw Entertainment Goddess flying by.

But it was only a dark screen and a line of words.

[ I didn't have time to upload the rest of my journey,

Because I was busy fighting everyone on the mainland, one vs. +5,000.

I killed thousands upon thousands for those who are curious! ]

And the video ended for them.

The outsiders were now going to explode in anger!

They didn't even know how they lost their own birth treasures!

What did they pay for?

They thought of sending one of them after him outside the zone, but there was no point in doing that.

He would be caught by their people anyway.

So they could only join the 'diggers' for now!

...

In Planet Lubo, the extended version continued.

Little Mortal was now in a cave, with a view of the Lava Sea.

The crystal was with him, so the record wasn't a point of view anymore after he left the Entertainment Goddess's castle.

In this scene,

His body was covered with cracks.

He sat silently, watching the angry higher beings that appeared from time to time and fought for seemingly no reason.

Everyone knew that was because they knew their birth treasure was lost,

But because of the World Law interference,

They couldn't mention it,

And they could only use force to see if they could find the lost treasure.

This continued for 1 year.

Little Mortal was motionless all this time,

Not moving, not saying anything,

Only sitting at the top of the backpack.

Others didn't know,

But the birth treasures knew well,

Anything in contact with his body,

Could be invisible if he wanted to.

The only reason he used that black liquid was for the times he knew the birth treasures were going somewhere alone,

Or might be separated from him.

Like when he needed the child crystal to cover up for him in the Newborn's Ceremony, and let a fake version of him sleep close to Entertainment Goddess,

while he himself went after the newborns and the rest of the birthday gifts.

As time passed, Little Mortal's body condition got worse and worse.

Cracks appeared all over his skin.

The birth treasures didn't know, but he couldn't even move at that point in time; that's how bad his condition was.

The little boy took a deep breath and muttered to himself,

"Friends inside, please bear with it for a while longer.

We either get lucky, or everything will be destroyed today...

Either way, you can go to where you were supposed to..."

No one knew who he was talking to or who these friends were.

Time passed.

Was it because of luck, or his fate?

Another fight broke out nearby, and the cave was destroyed.

The fight was between all the God's Council members and the God of Thievery, who had two additional helpers fighting alongside him.

One of them was Blood Lord, and the other was Puppet Master.

The fight threw Little Mortal's body, which was holding the backpack, away towards the newborns' platform.

He was then thrown away, while in a mess, into a random cave in the depths of the lava sea, which turned out to be the entrance of Fairy's Land.

It was there that he was found by the fairies and taken away to their garden.

Seeing all the birth treasures with him, the fairies all called him 'Boss' without hesitation.

They knew from the mess outside that only a 'Boss' level character can take those scary God's birth treasure and run away alive!

He was a newborn, too!

The Fairy's Garden, as many knew by now,

was the real place for receiving the newborns from incomplete universes.

It was a place designed and built solely with the purpose of housing newborns until they were grown enough.

Even the first fairy was born with the arrival of the first newborn.

But because the newborns were being used as law generators in a facility now, this place was only a garden for these fairies, and they themselves were the works of the facility.

When they brought Little Mortal's cracked body to the garden, as if this place had a special effect on him, his condition began to improve.

The fairies hid him and the backpack under a special-looking tree.

Little Mortal stayed there quietly for another half a year.

One day, a familiar old fairy who always stayed with him saw from a crack on his forehead black liquid coming out.

Seeing the liquid, the old fairy hurriedly left and came back with a small container not long after, gathering the black liquid while mumbling,

"This is the boss's blood!

It can't be simple!"

The birth treasures, only now found out what this 'black liquid' that they turned themselves invisible with was!

No wonder it had such an effect...

As time passed,

A couple of times, other higher beings came to the garden as if they were searching for something.

However, they found nothing.

At some point, even the fairies no longer knew if the boss was there or not, until one day he appeared out of nowhere.

His body was almost fine at that time.

Before leaving after his five or six months' rest, he said to the fairies that he would be back to take them away.

After that,

For another half a year, Little Mortal was going around aimlessly on his tricycle with the backpack on his back, seemingly looking for other birthday gifts.

Until two bubbles in the sky suddenly clashed,

and a small part of one of them separated.

Little Mortal, who saw this scene, hurriedly asked,

"Little crystal, where is the auction?"

And the crystal showed him the scene and the path to a certain building that had just manifested out of nowhere somewhere on the mainland.

Many higher beings were moving towards it in a hurry, like Little Mortal.

When Little Mortal arrived, he saw a man with a black beard and an eye patch come out of the building, place a placard beside the entrance, and leave.

Everyone in Planet Lubo recognized the man.

He was the same person who was challenged by Guardian Mortal, Pirate God.

On the placard was written,

[ 2 Planets with life.

We start the auction in 1 week. ]

The birth treasures and many newborns could guess what this place was, and what its purpose was.

Because of the mainland's speed,

If anything were separated from it, it would be lost in infinite space outside in a second.

You couldn't find it, or even if you could,

You couldn't get back to the mainland after taking it because no one could keep up with the mainland's speed.

The only way to find what was separated was through Pirate God.

His law allowed him to lock onto any target and receive a coordinate from it.

It didn't matter where the target went; he could find it.

Every time such a thing happened in the mainland,

and a part of a universe was separated from it due to the conflict between higher beings,

He would start an emergency auction to sell the coordinates of the lost part.

After that, if the buyer had a mobile space portal,

they would go after the part themselves, and use it to come back soon after,

And if they didn't have, then they would hire Pirate God himself to go and bring what's good from the lost part of the universe.

Most of the time, he was the one being hired because he was Space Goddess's business partner,

And he could get a mobile space portal from her anytime he wanted to.

The Space Goddess's mobile portal would only work for the buyer, and no one else; that's why it wasn't worth buying at the high price she always sold it for.

And Pirate God could buy it cheaper because of his business relationship with her.

Anyway, when Little Mortal saw there was one week left, he left in a hurry to find a place with no one around.

Then he took out the gold coin, flipped it up, and said,

"I wish for the living creatures on those two planets to stay safe."

Then he left in a hurry.

Because he knew a certain Lucky Goddess would feel her treasure being used and would be here to check.

Those familiar with the brief history of Planet Lubo knew that it began with two planets.

Cultivation Planet and Immortal Planet, which were separated from their galaxy.

And now they saw how this little guardian saved them indirectly without anyone knowing about it.

His wish for luck caused the two planets to stay with their sun and not freeze in space, and this happened around 300 years ago for them!

Another week passed, and the auction finally started.

Little Mortal sneaked inside and while everyone was waiting, he went to backstage, opened a box that seemed to be protected by Pirate God,

showed the thing inside it to his space mirror, and then went outside and joined the crowd as if nothing had happened.

The auction began not long after, and God of Oppression bought the coordinate.

Little Mortal immediately locked onto the man with full body armor, who went to Pirate God and hired him for the job.

Little Mortal, after a meaningful glance at the man in full body armor, or to be exact, at his armor, smiled coldly and changed his target while muttering,

"I come after my birthday gift later, you stupid thug!"

And secretly chased after Pirate God.

A while later, the two arrived on a platform designed to teleport to or receive the higher beings from their universe.

Pirate God stood on the platform, and his figure disappeared.

Little Mortal chuckled and said,

"Let's go, little mirror.

He is going to the coordinate!

We should get there before him!"

And a passage opened for him, who jumped in with his birthday gift collection.

At the other side of the passage,

Little Mortal appeared somewhere in empty space.

He looked in front of him and saw the sun far away.

He looked to his right and saw a big planet.

He looked to his left and saw a smaller planet.

He seems to be outside of a solar system.

Then he tapped the Guardian token, communicating with it.

The token responded,

[The bigger planet can't host any guardian.

The smaller planet is on the verge of death,

it is suggested to-]

But Little Mortal kicked the token away.

Those who knew him longer than the rest were speechless.

So he actually didn't listen to this token's suggestion from the start?

And especially the people from Cultivation Planet, who felt truly fortunate.

Their guardian actually used that coin and even denied the suggestion of the Guardian token.

Or they would be dead or someone's slave by now.

Little Mortal stayed there in silence for a while.

The token returned to him, and at the same time, a passage opened, and Pirate God walked out.

Little Mortal, who saw the one he was waiting for, finally arrived, picked up his punishment stick, sneaked behind Pirate God,

and swung the stick with both hands at his right rib cage, sending him flying to who knows where!

Pirate God was hit so hard that everyone saw his eyes roll back, while his body was definitely broken from the side!

Now the birth treasures could guess how he ended up in Hunters Mainland.

A certain guardian smashed him away to them!

And he was later captured by them.

Pirate God, who appeared outside of the solar system because he naturally couldn't enter, just came to see the level of power in the two planets, and see what level of army he should send here so they can enter the planets.

All of that took him a moment, and just after he sent out the message to his troops, he was smashed away.

Everyone knew about what would happen after this, because they watched it in Guardian Journey.

On the scene,

Little Mortal, who saw the main 'obstacle' gone,

smiled and pointed at the smaller planet.

A passage opened, and he walked in.

Only a sentence could be heard from the other side of the passage,

"Little mortal, 3 years old!

Let the journey begin!"

His destination?

Planet Cultivation.
