He was scaling down the wall using a thick rope. Despite the rope burns, he kept going and when he had finally reached the ground, he thought he had managed to escape. Just then he heard a voice from behind asking, "where do you think you are going?"
He shrieked and timidly turned around. It is the female bandit head. She has caught him trying to escape from camp redhanded. He smiled sheepishly and scratched the back of his head, "I am merely trying to check how sturdy the rope is. It's sturdy."
Ruo Qiu dropped her phone on her bed as she laughed out loud while lying flat on her belly.
"This male lead is so hilarious!"
Then she glanced at the time on her phone. Seeing how late it was already, she gasped. Ruo Qiu wishes to continue reading the web novel but she knows if she doesn't go to bed soon, she will regret it tomorrow morning. Not only will it be harder to drag herself out of bed to go to work, but she will also need to drown herself in caffeine to keep her eyes open.
Very, very reluctantly, she set her phone down on her bedside table. After turning off the lights in her room, she plopped down onto her bed and hugged her stuffed pikachu to sleep.
The next day, Ruo Qiu opened her eyes groggily. Seeing how bright it is already, she jolted awake. Did her alarm not ring? Or was she in such a deep sleep to have not heard the alarm sound?

Her bed is not her bed. Her room doesn't look like her room either. She wasn't even wearing the pyjamas she had gone to bed in.
"Don't tell me…" She muttered under her breath and she tried to internalise her surroundings.
