The morning light felt too bright through the servants' quarters window.
Willow pulled the thin blanket over her head trying to block it out but that didn't stop the memories from last night from playing over and over in her mind.
The way Dorian had pulled her against him and kissed her like she was everything he had.
The way his hands had mapped every inch of her body with desperate need. The way he had whispered her name when he came undone.
And then the way he had dismissed her afterwards like she was nothing more than a servant who had completed their task for the evening.
"Get dressed and leave," He had said without even looking at her while she lay there still catching her breath and feeling his seed inside her.
No gentle touches, no soft words or even a moment to just exist together in the aftermath. Just a cold command that reminded her exactly what she was to him now.
