Chapter 51 - chapter fifty one

Ashly stood at the top of the stairs, a sly smirk spreading across her face like a venomous snake slithering through the grass. I remembered her ominous words: "I'll snatch him away from you." Those same words echoed in my mind as tears welled up in my eyes like a dam breaking, flooding my soul with anguish. How could he betray me like this?

"I told you I'd snatch him away from you," she gloated, sauntering up the stairs with the confidence of a predator claiming its prey. "But I must give you credit - you made it easy for me." She held up her phone, and I felt my heart shatter into a million pieces like fragile glass dropped on concrete. The video of me and Michael played on the screen, and I felt like I'd been punched in the gut, my breath knocked out of me.

I tried to speak, but my voice was trapped in my throat like a bird in a cage, beating its wings against the bars. Her eyes sparkled with amusement, her gaze piercing me like a dagger to the heart. "Who's the slut now?" she taunted, her voice dripping with malice like poison.

I clenched my teeth, my finger trembling with rage as I pointed at her. "Don't you-" I started to say, but I was interrupted by the door slamming shut behind me like a thunderclap.

Ashley smile faltered for a moment before she regained her composure, her mask of confidence slipping back into place. The air was thick with tension, heavy with the scent of broken souls like the stench of rotting flesh.

I turned to face Slavvy, and my heart sank like a stone dropped into a deep well. He was a mess, clutching a bottle of whiskey in his hand like a lifeline, his eyes bloodshot red, hurt and anger etched on his face like scars on a warrior's body.

"What is she doing here?" he coldy Siad

"You're one to talk," I spat, my voice venomous like a snake's bite. "After what I just saw, you're hardly in a position to lecture me."

Slavvy's face twisted in rage, his eyes blazing with fury like a wildfire consuming everything in its path. "You have no idea what you're talking about," he snarled, taking a step closer to me like a predator stalking its prey.

"Oh, I think I do," I retorted, my voice rising like a stormy sea. " You slept with ashley again..." voice cracked

"You have no right to tell me who can I not sleep with now get hey out,"he yeller coldly at me . Bes words were like a sharp sword piercing my heart.

"I'll just go and leave you two," zikhona maliciously Siad, and she began to walk downstairs out the door when slavvy holded her.

"You are not going anywhere she has to go "he mumbled, pain filling his throat. My heart broke into a million pieces as I watched him hold her hand.

"Wow, huh, this is it mmm, yesterday I meant the world to you -" I yelled, but he interrupted me .

"You slept with Haze. Don't tell me you mean the world to me when you slept with..." he yelled, throwing the bottle of whiskey on the floor, shattering into millions of uncountable pieces just like my heart .

The room erupted into chaos as our argument escalated, the tension between us crackling like electricity in the air. Slavvy's face turned red with anger, his fists clenched at his sides like a boxer ready to strike.

"You slept with her!" I yelled, my voice echoing off the walls like a scream in a nightmare. "You slept with her, and now you're telling me to get out?"

Slavvy's eyes flashed with anger, and he took another step closer to me, his voice low and menacing. "I slept with her, yes, I did," he growled, his words dripping with malice. "And you know why? Because you slept with Haze, that's why."

I felt a stinging sensation in my eyes as tears welled up, my heart breaking into a million pieces like shattered glass. "I didn't sleep with him," I yelled back, but Slavvy just laughed, a cold, mirthless sound that cut me to the bone.

"Then what's this?" he spat, holding up his broken phone like a trophy. The screen was shattered, the glass cracked and broken like our relationship.

"You broke it," I said, my voice shaking with anger, my heart heavy with sorrow.

Slavvy's eyes flashed with fury, and he took another step closer to me, his voice rising like a stormy sea. "You broke my heart," he snarled, his words cutting me like a knife. "You broke my trust."

I felt a pang of guilt, but it was quickly replaced by anger, my emotions swirling like a tornado. "You're one to talk," I spat, my voice venomous. "You're the one to talk" I spat

Ashley eyes danced with amusement, and she spoke up, her voice dripping with malice. "Oh, do tell. What about your little rendezvous with Haze?"

I felt a stinging sensation in my eyes as tears welled up, my heart breaking into a million pieces. "Shut up," I spat, my voice venomous.

Slavvy's eyes flashed with anger, and he took another step closer to me, his voice low and menacing. "Yeah, she's not a slut like you," he sneered, his words cutting me like a knife

I felt like I'd been punched in the gut, my breath knocked out of me. "How dare you," I spat, my voice venomous. "You have no right to judge me."

Slavvy's eyes flashed with anger, and he took another step closer to me. "I have every right," he growled. "You're the one who cheated on me."

I shook my head, my eyes filling with tears. "I didn't cheat on you," I said, my voice cracking. "I was raped."

The room fell silent, the only sound the heavy breathing of Slavvy and I. Ashley eyes widened in shock, and she took a step back, her face pale.

Slavvy's eyes narrowed, his face twisted in anger. "Don't lie to me," he spat. "I saw the video."

I felt a stinging sensation in my eyes as tears welled up. "You don't understand," I said, my voice shaking. "I was drunk, I didn't know what was happening."

Slavvy's face twisted in disgust. "You're disgusting," he spat. "You're a slut. You're nothing but a cheap, dirty girl.you dont deserve to be called a women"

I felt like I'd been punched in the gut, my breath knocked out of me. "How can you say that to me?" I cried, my voice barely above a whisper. "How can you be so cruel?"

Slavvy's eyes flashed with anger. "You're the one who's been cruel," he snarled. "You're the one who's been lying to me, cheating on me."

I shook my head, my eyes filling with tears. "I didn't cheat on you," I repeated. "I was raped. And you're supposed to be the one person who's supposed to believe me, who's supposed to support me."

Slavvy's face twisted in anger. "I don't believe you," he spat. "I don't believe anything you say."

I felt a stinging sensation in my eyes as tears welled up. "Fine," I said, my voice shaking. "If you don't believe me, then maybe we're better off apart."

Slavvy's eyes narrowed. "Maybe we are," he snarled.

I turned and walked away, leaving Slavvy and Zikhona standing alone in the ruins of our relationship.

As I walked out the door, I heard Slavvy's voice behind me. "Tess, wait!" he yelled, but I didn't look back. I kept walking, the tears streaming down my face like rain.

I didn't know where I was going, I just knew I had to get away. Away from Slavvy, away from pain away from the pain and the heartache. As I walked, the darkness closed in around me, yet it was still daylight, and I felt like I was drowning in a sea of despair. I didn't know if I would ever find my way out of this darkness, or if I would ever be able to heal from the wounds that Slavvy and Zikhona had inflicted on me.

Every step I took, my heart broke into pieces. The rain didn't do much to wash off the pain; nothing did. Absolutely nothing was going to ease the pain I was feeling. I walked through the empty highway, which was always busy but today was empty and lonely.

The storm started to thunder badly, but I kept on walking senselessly. A loud beeping noise snapped me out of my thoughts. I turned around, and the lights threatened me with blindness a glimpse of light insaw before i felt like something crashing deep inside me braking my every bone.

I layed on the road as I saw a figure rush to me ...

"Someone call an ambulance!!" I heard voices in the heavy rain.

I was sure this was it. This was my end......
