Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Light That Fell

The night sky above Elyndra City was fractured — streaks of silver light tore through the clouds like divine scars. People stopped mid-step. Some recorded it on their phones, thinking it a meteor shower. Others whispered prayers.

But it wasn't a meteor.

It was him.

A body of blinding blue-white light crashed through the atmosphere, piercing the skyline. Glass shattered across the upper floors of skyscrapers as shockwaves rippled through the city. The object landed deep in an abandoned district — a forgotten place where streetlights no longer worked and stray cats ruled the ruins.

Smoke. Silence. A single heartbeat echoed.

Then, a voice — metallic, calm, and hollow.

The smoke cleared. A young man rose slowly from a crater of melted stone and glass, his blue-and-white hair swaying in the wind. His eyes — silver with threads of gold — reflected the city lights like shards of Heaven itself.

He didn't speak. He only looked up.

The moon hung above him, vast and broken by clouds, and for the first time in his immortal existence — he felt cold.

---

He tried to spread his wings, but only pain answered. Invisible light burst briefly behind him, revealing fractured wings of translucent energy, half-formed and fading.

He clenched his hand.

Felt the air.

Felt gravity.

Felt the silence of a world that did not know his name.

"…Where… am I?"

His voice was soft, empty — like a god whispering into the void.

The System responded.

> [ Current Location: Human Realm. Designation — Planet Earth. ]

[ Objective: Survive. Adapt. Reclaim Power. ]

"…Earth?" he muttered, scanning the ruined street. "So this… is the human world."

He took a step forward — unsteady, foreign — and nearly fell. The sensation of weight, the ground beneath his feet, the chill of night air on his skin — everything was strange.

And somewhere deep within the city, something ancient stirred. A presence recognized his descent.

> [ Warning: Unknown Divine Signature Detected. Threat Level — Moderate. ]

He looked up again — his calm silver eyes narrowing slightly.

"…They've already found me."

Lightning flickered across the clouds.

Somewhere above, wings of black flame spread wide — another fallen being had sensed him.

And thus, the age of silence ended.

The city would never sleep the same again.
