Chapter 9:Fallen Dragon
"HUNTER WAIT,PLEASE!"Galvin cried out like a dying bird.His soft screeches quickly transitioned into roars of anger.Hunter was in the distance,almost fully dragon permanently.
Same with the whole of the draco clan.One of the final signs of the ILO's arrival was that the dragons would shift into true dragons completely.
So that meant they wouldn't be able to take the form of a human anymore.And Hunter?He was close and was far down that path.
His skin was scaly. He grew two robust horns on his forehead.His tongue grew longer.Hunter was more muscular and so were the other dragons.They grew in size and strength but their speed an agility decreased by a slight factor.
Hunter had previously claimed the title of,
"The Prince Of Wrath."Members of the draco clan have noticed his aura and presence alone burned brighter and warmer than any other dragon.
He was a walking furnace.A walking sun.Words couldn't express his anger against Emma's death so instead the world increased the temperature and arrogance of his flames.
It was a fire that was too hot to be put out. It was too late for Hunter to turn back. He already turned to the path of vengeance and revenge.
Nobody could stop him.Nobody could change that poor dragon's mind or heart.Not even the Overlord himself could because it was the Overlord that manipulated Hunter to take this path.
In Red's spare time,he tormented the dragon mentally and psychologically.Hunter was practically being dragged by chains of doom and despair into a pit of eternal hatred and agony. As long as Hunter's flame kept on burning,so would his anger.
The Overlord and Hunter were quite similar in terms of emotion and…maybe even goals.They had different destinations but the same goal. To get back at the world that previously neglected them.Red and Kibo were seen as outcasts by the whole world,rejected everywhere.
Hunter lost his biological parents in a fire and his adopted step sister in the bloodmoon.And his wrath swallowed him whole into desolate belly of hell.
Even his pride blinded him,resulting into the draco divide.Poor Hunter must feel so alone yet so angry.But was it really his fault?Is the Prince Of Wrath really at fault here?He lost three of his family members. He got corrupted by the flames of anger. He was manipulated by the leader of the ILO.
A literal demon that created the whole world and all of the dimensions for fun.The ILO originally made it for themselves but the Overlord got greedy.
He manipulated Lunar into joining the evil side and that left the only morally good member of the standing,Iris. An angel.Although she was described as a Navajo in the Secrets Of The World,angels fall under the category of Navajo.
And when the day of the ILO's return happens,it will be eventful.Very.
Infact,the rebellion will start before the ILO even comes to Earth for one simple reason.Greed.Humanity can't wait any longer.Outside Touhi Village,people were angry.
Emperor Maku strictly sent out a message to nearby countries that the war will be between South Korea and Japan only.
But as arrogant as these humans are,they denied Maku's offer.China became a third party and planned to attack both sides.
Places like Russia or India were too lazy to intervene so they just watched as one of the biggest wars in history was about to occur.
But the three main countries were very mad.Over a span of weeks that felt like days,everybody was getting ready.
Hunter and Galvin fought over China who was surprisingly emperorless yet the society of China decided to fight back for their land to make sure that it wasn't destroyed.But overall,China was being ruled by dragons.Furious dragons.
The Navajo were going to be awakened by Red soon.Kraven was redemption himself along with his army who were like sheep following a lion.
The Genshi trained,mentally and physically.
The public of the three sides had three different ideas.South Korea felt controlled and wanted to defend themselves.China third partied to defend their land incase of destruction.And Japan?Japan has some intense history and one reason to take part in all of this.
The reason is that they've been doing this ever since the land of Japan had been taken over by creatures. So the final conclusion is that nobody is happy.
Everybody is fighting for something in some way.
Everybody is growing and developing in some way.Everybody has a flaw and a strength.A motivation and a goal.
Kimiko observed time.Yanagi supported and pushed the Genshi further.Maku and Chief Lenny exchanged political and strategic ideas for war.Toru continued to study chemistry and medical ideas along with some plants to craft a perfect cure to save Lily's sickness.
They haven't had a lot of screentime but they do matter,you as a reader probably don't see it yet.Kraven is becoming a dove.
Irai may have been underground right now but he's gotten A LOT STRONGER than he was before.
It's his time to shine again.Everything he's been through leads up to this point.
The cities are quieter than usual.Everybody's waiting for an attack.Isura stuck with Lunar and the sea serpents while Kibo went to Lady Applejack's house,his mother's house as a last resort.Irai protects the moonstone with all his heart.Everybody has something that they want to keep safe.
Days went by of silence.Nothing.Nothing.The tension grew stronger and stronger.Constantly,everyday,the citizens and leaders and major characters had to live through constant stress.
They were careful with every single move they had.One mistake and their lives would come to an end.And it wasn't an exaggeration at all. At this point of the story,everybody has changed and will continue to change.
The story has been intense but at some points it lingered off onto other topics to let down your gaze but the day of the rebellion is so close.You don't understand how long everybody has been waiting for this.
It will come.
People are prepared.And you better be too.Because the next part of Ruptured Rebellion is going to be more intense than you think.
The chapters will get longer.The fights will get more creative and better.Chapters will be split up into smaller parts to process them.
The last 5 chapters of Ruptured Rebellion are worth it,trust me.
