Chapter 7 - Noah's Spark

His Majesty never intended for Kaiser to replace his position as "other half," nor did he intend for Kaiser to become the Wandenreich's successor. Instead, he regarded him as a spark carrying the Wandenreich and the entire Quincy civilization.

If Kaiser truly disappeared from this world one day, then he might also spread the glory of the Quincy to other worlds.

He would become a new Quincy progenitor in another world, rebuild Quincy civilization, and even create a brand new Wandenreich belonging to him, becoming an emperor as great as His Majesty.

Of course, all of these were Haschwalth's conjectures based on His Majesty's words; he couldn't fathom what His Majesty was truly thinking deep down.

Even whether Kaiser would leave this world was just his hypothesis.

Perhaps Kaiser had no ability to choose independently; after all, judging by his appearance when he first showed up before him and His Majesty, he was clearly at a loss, startled and uneasy.

Furthermore, Haschwalth was well aware that Kaiser didn't like the Wandenreich at all. He yearned for freedom, and although his hostility towards His Majesty was outwardly well-hidden, it couldn't escape Haschwalth's eyes.

That Kaiser guy constantly wanted to escape, but the moment he drank the soul blood wine, his fate was sealed, destined to give everything for His Majesty.

If he truly had the ability to escape His Majesty, Kaiser would have probably already fled.

"Haschwalth, I eagerly anticipate that child's future, but the war has already begun, and he doesn't have much time left. However, I still hope he can achieve the fastest growth within the limited time.

This, whether for me, or for you, or for all Quincy, might be a good thing."

After Yhwach finished speaking, he stood up, no longer showing any warmth or benevolence, only the iron-blooded killing intent of a war-monger and the cruel tyranny of a despot. His eyes were cold and lifeless, sending shivers down one's spine.

Although Kaiser's arrival was an unexpected event and might bring about a turning point in many matters, Yhwach would not disrupt his previous plans and deployments for him.

To achieve his millennium-long ambition, to eliminate people's fear of death, to liberate his father, whose will had become a pitiful enshrined piece of flesh, and to create a world without death or any fear, Yhwach would spare no effort.

However, if Kaiser, without interfering with him, attracted a group of people to gather under his banner and chose to embark with them on an unknown path to a new bright future, Yhwach would not stop him; in fact, deep down, Yhwach seemed to be anticipating something.

Therefore, in Yhwach's eyes, Kaiser was a spark, a chosen "Noah," Yhwach's last remaining compassion for the world he was about to destroy.

But the premise for all of this was that Kaiser could quickly actualize his true potential and build an "Ark of Noah" capable of carrying all hope before the war ended.

Otherwise, after the war concludes, at the dawn of the new world, if Kaiser has not yet awakened, Yhwach will have no choice but to mercilessly destroy him along with the current world... After a refreshing growth and struggle with a fierce, strong, wheat-skinned great shark, Kaiser naturally used his newly learned power to create a hot spring, cleansing himself and his comrades.

The warm and comfortable current manipulated by Kaiser, with its just-right impact and refreshing temperature, not only washed away the filth but also seemed to take away all the fatigue from both of them as they soaked in it. At this moment, Kaiser floated lazily and relaxed in the artificial hot spring he had created with his own hands.

"This is… my ability? Indeed, you were so eager to merge with me because you had a deeper purpose, not driven by male urges, and certainly not to release your inner desires."

Harribel, soaking in the hot spring, touched the warm water around her with some surprise, then stated with certainty.

"Perhaps you're thinking I'm too goal-oriented. Maybe I'm just a simple lecher? Don't underestimate your charm, Miss Harribel. You are, after all, the Queen who rules Hueco Mundo, a Vasto Lorde-level Arrancar at the pinnacle of Hollow evolution. You should have more confidence in yourself.

What's more, your figure and appearance are both excellent. I like you very much. I'm not the kind of ruthless person who would ignore my own aesthetics and preferences, lowering my standards for a mate just for power.

However, I was truly surprised that you were so cooperative just now."

Kaiser said casually. He entertained himself in the water, playing with the hot water as if it were the most delightful thing, like a carefree youth.

Everything he said was true; he hadn't yet reached the point where he would sacrifice everything for power.

After all, up until now, he had never considered trying to connect with a male, and even when combining with the female Quincy of the Wandenreich, he always followed the judgment of his 'little head dad' in selection.

Kaiser's standards for a mate would never be excessively lowered due to the other party's power. On the contrary, if the looks were good enough, he could disregard the other party's strength, as he never chose just one option.

"I do not intend to engage in useless battles."

Harribel shook her head. The winner takes all, and the current situation was dire. Sacrifices needed to be valuable. She didn't intend to make futile sacrifices, and given her current injuries and being in the enemy's stronghold, she couldn't resist anyway.

It wasn't submission, but rather preserving herself for future use, so she would have a chance to save more companions later. She could feel the cruelty and ruthlessness of these enemies, and she was very worried about Apache, Sung-Sun, and Mila Rose, who were still in Hueco Mundo.

However, she was somewhat surprised by the young man's words, "Mate? As a Quincy, would you actually consider a Hollow your mate?"

Hollows are poison and natural enemies to Quincy; this is an irreconcilable contradiction.

Moreover, whether it was the instinct for survival wanting to eliminate all natural enemies harmful to one's life, or the deep-seated hatred Quincy held for Hollows due to their soul-devouring, it was destined that Quincy and Hollows would only be enemies.

"I am special.

I am weak alone, but if I have a group of mates and form a large family, everyone working together, sharing burdens, supporting each other, and uniting our strength, then we will be the strongest!

Combining is forming an alliance. From today onwards, you are a member of the family, Harribel. Win-win cooperation, you should understand this principle, right?"

Kaiser manipulated the water currents to form a group of sharks and sea beasts. The sharks, working together as a family, tore apart all the sea beasts and feasted. Finally, all the sharks joyfully circled around him and Harribel.
