I sat down next to Shikamaru who sat next to chouji who had joined me, naruto, and ino at our spot under the tree. I sighed. I had done my usual blitz past Sasuke and scored 18/20 on shurikenjutsu. Still waiting for that final level. Things had been extra tiring today as I trained with might guy and rock lee. No regrets though.

Everything had gone up three whole levels... So many push-ups... so, so many. But it was all worth it. I apparently had stamina that rivaled normal chunin as said by guy himself. That made me feel a surge of pride. If I couldn't beat anyone here now I would eat my shoe.
"I see why you guys are in this spot all the time. Great shade" Shikamaru said, laying down.
"I'm still surprised you decided to join us," Ino said from next to naruto.
"Me too. Kiba got too annoying for me and kukui plays shogi" Shikamaru explained
"You play shogi?" Naruto asked, shocked.
"I got bored and learned how to play one day," I said, pulling my board out of my backpack for a second and putting it away.
"Damn you must have been really bored then. I don't know how anyone can willingly learn to play that" Ino jokingly said. She just didn't know the fun of getting your ass repeatedly kicked mentally.
"Pretty much," I said, pulling out my board. "Wanna play?" I asked Shikamaru who promptly sat up.
"Never saw you move that fast before shika," Naruto said. He heard his name called by iruka who was setting him up to fight some poor civilian kid.
"Ever try not talking naruto?" Shikamaru asked as I made the first move. He made his and we continued to clash for a few seconds as Naruto left and fought that civilian kid. Don't care enough to remember his name. It started with an N if I remember correctly
"So does anyone want to make any bets or no?" I asked and everyone promptly nodded in the negative. "Aww, I was hoping to make some money today. So who do you guys think is going to fight who?" I asked as this was the first fight of the day... "And match" I called out in reference to naruto's spar and my ass-kicking. Not in my favor.
"Let's see, You vs Sasuke is the only one I can see. It's inevitable at this point. You have beaten everyone here at least twice" Shikamaru said, making his final move on the shogi board.
"Yeah! You kicked pretty much everyone's asses other than the bastards so far" Naruto said with an emphasis on the bastard part. At this point everyone knew naruto had a one-sided rivalry with the uchiha avenger.
"I wonder who would win though," chouji said, finally contributing something to the conversation.
"I don't know. Kukui and Sasuke can both beat everyone easily. But kukui is faster and sasuke has a better fighting style, " Ino said. My strength was my speed. I was a fast guy naturally. Sasuke had better technique than me as he trained far longer than me.
"Kukui can kick the bastard's ass. You saw what he did to kiba right?" Naruto asked. Everyone sweatdropped.
"Sasuke could do that too," Shikamaru said. I reset the shogi board and we began playing again. It was a great game to stimulate the mind.
"Of course the bastard can," Naruto grumbled as I laughed.
"Sasuke really could. Even you should admit sasuke is really good" I said 'Not as good as me' I added mentally. Sasuke didn't have the advantages I had. The sharingan was still pretty bullshit though. The gamer was truly a godsend.
Naruto grumbled something unintelligible before crossing his arms and he pouted. "Sasuke bastard isn't that good" He mumbled.
"So what do you guys want to do after school today?" Ino asked. We normally discussed this so it didn't come as a shocker but sadly I couldn't hang out with them today. Neither could Shikamaru. I needed an excuse fast. Shikamaru looked slightly nervous.
"I plan on relaxing. I've spent a lot of time training recently so I want to relax. Take the night off ya know" I said in a cheerful voice. Everyone looked at me shocked other than shikamaru. I was known for my constant training.
"You're taking a night off. HAHA That's hilarious" Naruto said. Ino also laughed.
"Did anyone spike your breakfast this morning?" Ino asked.
"I'm hurt. Is it really that out of character of me to want to take a night off?" I asked in a mock hurt voice. I really wished I could take a night off though. That'd be nice! But alas duty calls
"Yeah. You train more than everyone here combined!" Naruto exclaimed.
I looked around. "Only six other people train heavily here," I said knowing two of them were in my group
"Sasuke Vs kukui" I heard iruka announce. I sighed.
"Already? The third match... Come on..." I whined. Was it too much to ask for a little longer of break? I wish I had more energy points for this

"Welp best get it out the way," Shikamaru said. Everyone nodded.
"Okay then," I said cheerfully. I jumped into the ring. I could do that now
"Good luck," Ino said as I landed.
I looked at Sasuke. I took a deep breath. I was confident I could beat the Uchiha avenger. "Hello Sasuke," I said simply. This was the day I had been waiting for. I wanted to prove that I was the best. That all my hard work paid off
"Kukui," He said simply with a smirk.
"Ready to lose?" I asked. It wasn't an "Oh I'm better than you" Type of question. But It was something between... Equals
"Are you?" He retorted. We had been looking at each other for weeks. Hoping to spar.
"Nah I've been winning every spar for the past few weeks. I want to beat you. The number one. I plan on winning" I smiled. Sasuke smirked
"We'll see then," Sasuke said, getting into the basic stance for the interceptor fist.
"I got into the basic konoha style. I was confident in my taijutsu levels

"Alright you two. BEGIN!" iruka exclaimed
I jumped back as Sasuke jumped back too. The interceptor fist was a style based on patience. Your opponent was the one that had to make the first move... Well if you had the sharingan. If not then you had to predict your opponent's moves and counter. LOTS of countering. Sasuke settled into his basic stance. I settled into mine. We nodded at each other
"May the best one win" I said as I ran at Sasuke. He looked surprised. Why would I make such a stupid choice? Well I had a plan.
I raised my fist toward Sasuke's sternum. My classic opening move. Sasuke grabbed it. Sasuke quickly punched my gut three times making me groan in pain. He let go on the last punch but I grabbed his arm. Quickly I raised up toward the avenger who tried to punch my head. I ducked and went for a jab to the stomach. Sasuke tried to grab my arm but I pulled back and punched his arm instead. A small it but it'd do.
Quickly I jumped back as sasuke jumped toward me. I ducked and dodged a flurry of blows that would hurt a lot. A few occasional hits grazed me. I looked at the Uchiha avenger. An opening I saw. He leaves a core spot open for attack. I aimed a punch toward his left temple. He looked surprised I'd go for such a bold move. He moved his head slightly just so the punch wouldn't hit his head. The punch did miss his head but my fist was beside it
I smashed my fist into the side of his head but as I had only one fist to block. Sasuke quickly dismantled my defense and punched my solar plexus, sending me sliding back. The avenger looked at me with a look of silent pain in his eyes
"Let's continue to dance," I said, recovering from the punch pretty quickly. He recovered as well and he smirked but said nothing.
"I Rushed back at the raven-headed boy with renewed vigor. I dodged a punch that went straight for my head by ducking. Copycat. I tried to sweep out his legs as I grabbed an arm. I wanted to go for an uppercut. They were damn effective when all else failed. Sasuke instead kicked that leg, putting me off balance.
"Oh, shit" I simply said as I felt my chin get a foot stuck to it sending me skyrocketing into the sky in pain. At least I now knew how this felt Sasuke jumped into the sky punching me in the gut and sending me further into the air. I saw an opportunity
"Not so fast" I muttered after grunting in pain, spinning around and grabbing the avenger by the shoulders. I knew my own move better than him so I knew the flaws better too. The bastardized hidden lotus was my technique, not his.
I pulled Sasuke closer. and spun around again. this time with Sasuke in my grasp He tried to break free from my grip I threw him down to the ground
"Oh fuck" He said. I stuck out a leg hoping to make his descent into the earth even faster.
"This is why you don't copy people. They know their technique better" I said. He managed to grab my foot. Sasuke pulled me closer. "Oh no you don't," I said blocking a stray punch.
I punched the Uchiha's fist with all my might. He let go. I spun around and stuck out my leg. Ax kick. I hit Sasuke's ribs. "FOXES BARRAGE" I screamed out. Hey, I could rename the attack too! Sasuke was sent crashing into the ground as I made a graceful landing. I expected it to be over
But Sasuke got up like a bat out of hell.
"Holy shit you're still conscious," I said in shock. Nobody should really be conscious after that kind of attack.
Sasuke just smirked. "You're good. I have never had this much of a challenge" He said praising my skill. He was breathing heavily. As was I to be fair. He hit almost as hard as ino and naruto. Almost.
"No shit sherlock. Take a look at yourself for a second" I breathed out
Sasuke just rushed back at me. I rushed at him. This would be the deciding hit. 'Sprinting I called out in my mind. I needed the extra attack speed. My fist connected to his face first. He was sent flying out of the ring by my final attack.
I collapsed onto the floor. "I won," I said raggedly. "That dance was fun. Let's do it again sometime" I added. People just looked on in shock. I had beat Sasuke motherfucking Uchiha. The unbeatable opponent.
Sasuke just looked at me. A mix of shock, excitement, and something I couldn't tell was seen on his face. None of it looked to be anger though so there was that.
"Winner, kukui," Iruka said gobsmacked.

This was all that I could get at the moment. It seemed I could buy skills with skill points. Skills I didn't have. I scrolled all over. Sadly, I couldn't buy sharingan sadly. But I could get other skills. And sensing sounded the best. Ultimately I went for

I smiled. This skill would be fucking great to have now. Even with its small range and possible drawback of chakra level. I just had to have it.
"Kukui you did it, you kicked the bastard black and blue!" Naruto exclaimed as he came to drag me back to the shade. He slung my arm over his shoulder
"I think he beat me pretty well too," I said as we went back to the shade.
"Good fight. I'm surprised you won after he copied your move" Shikamaru said as I got back.
"Me too," I said as I sat down.
"He sure did a number on you though," Chouji said, grabbing some chips.
"Yeah you look terrible," Ino said next.
"At least I won though. I'm now at the top" I said.
Little did I know Shikamaru was looking at me worriedly.
'Okay, let's see how this works' I thought. I placed my pinky finger onto the table and closed my eyes. Suddenly I could just see. See people's chakra. Small amounts as I lived in the civilian area of konoha. But still. I giggled. This feeling was wonderful honestly. I sensed someone at my door.
I heard a knock on my door.
When I opened the door I saw an unexpected face. "You're here early" I said, not letting my surprise show. Shikamaru's chakra felt calm but ready to move and strike at any moment. Like his shadow jutsu
Shikamaru looked serious. "We need to talk urgently," He said. That worried me.
I looked at him. "Come in," I said. Shikamaru entered my house and sat down.
"What is it?" I asked. I quickly put on a pot of tea. Tea was always nice.
"So I've been thinking about it. With us two we should be able to convince the Hokage about kin" Shikamaru said. I sighed I knew this could happen but I hoped it didn't. I didn't think the Hokage would listen to us at all. It would be hard to convince the leader of a dictatorship that there was a traitor with little evidence.
"I don't think so. We have no proof other than our words. It'd be a us versus her scenario" I sighed.
Shikamaru slapped me. "It's two people versus one. The hokage is a reasonable man from what I heard. He shouldn't take this lightly" Shikamaru said. I was shocked he slapped me. "You need to think rationally about this man. We don't need to fight her. Even if you think you're strong enough. You can't let your ego cloud your judgment" He finished.
"Thanks for the concern! But... I just don't know if they'd actually listen" I replied. My ego isn't clouding my judgment. I was perfectly fine... Although my confidence was at an all-time high. But I was now at least fast enough to take on kin. She couldn't be that strong right? She wasn't a prodigy like Minato or itachi. She didn't have as much skill as sasuke, all she had was that curse mark. She didn't even have stage two for crying out loud!
"They would. We could tell my father and he could tell the hokage then if you're that worried" Shikamaru offered.
I thought about it. It'd be a good idea but what if they left before we got there? "What if they leave before someone arrives? We'd look like idiots and liars. Kin and kiba would be safe too" I said, voicing my concerns. Shikamaru sighed but he looked at me.
"How about you go and make sure they don't leave if that makes you feel better? If things get bad we'd be there by then" Shikamaru offered. I smiled at his offer. That'd be a good idea actually.
"I like it. I can keep kin restrained for a while. You can take all the time you need" I smirked. Shikamaru looked disappointed
"Don't let your ego get a hold of you" Shikamaru deadpanned. I wouldn't let my ego get a hold of me.
"Oh don't worry I won't," I said.
"You better" Shikamaru said before getting up and grabbing something. "Now lets play for a bit" Shikamaru smirked
"Okay!" I cheered.
"Okay, what have you decided?" Kin asked. Kiba looked at kin. He brought Akamaru with him.
Kiba sighed. "As much as your offer of power flatters me... I love Konoha too much. I'm sorry I won't take your offer. Now... I need to bring you in" Kiba growled out at the end. He did the man-beast mimicry jutsu.
Kin sighed. "That honestly sucks. Orochimaru-same really wanted to recruit one of you. Too bad. I'm going to have to kill you now" Kin said, activating her curse mark.
Kiba and Akamaru got scared by this but they stood tall. "I won't let you scare me," Kiba growled.
'Okay time to step in" I said. I threw a kunai at kin. It raised her cheek as she dodged.
"Who did that?" She wondered.
I stepped in. In my blank mask and black coat(the cloak was too expensive sadly) "It was I" I announced.
"Hey don't butt in!" Kiba exclaimed Before I looked at him.
I clapped. "Pal I'm here to kick your opponent's ass for you and you're mad," I said disappointedly. I was impressed Kiba decided not to defect
Kin laughed. "You really think you can beat me? With the gift Orochimaru-sama gave me I can easily beat the both of you" Kin sneered. I laughed just like kin did.
"Your master must see something special in you 'cause I don't," I said. I wasn't impressed by kin. At all.
"You are a fool then," Kin simply said before rushing at me. Fast.
I was shocked by her speed but not for long. I dodged her first hit and grabbed her arm. "Tsk, tsk, tsk. You think you can hit me?" I asked. She must have been really cocky to think that would work
"That's not what I was going for," Kin said smugly. Suddenly I felt a fist crash into my stomach. Hard. This was worse than naruto and ino hitting me at once...
"You got one good hit, that's all," I said, brushing myself off with a lot of effort.
"Hmph"
I rushed at kin once more, activating sprinting. I quickly got a good hit at her solar plexus. But she stood there unphased for the most part. "What the actual fuck" I said mouth agape although it couldn't be seen. Who the fuck just shrugs that off?
"Hahaha, that's all you got?" The girl asked grabbing my arm
"Don't underestimate me!" I exclaimed Trying to sweep out her legs. I used my free arm to grab a kunai and try to stab her. She grabbed my arm before my kunai could enter her flesh. Her grip was as good as mine. I grit my teeth. I glared at her but she couldn't see it
"Tsk, tsk, tsk. You think you can hit me?" She asked, mimicking my question from before. I headbutted her nose. Breaking it.
"Don't let your guard down," I laughed out loud.
"Bastard" She threw me away as kiba watched in horror. He hadn't done shit the entire time.
'I'm going to kick her ass' I thought in glee. "Let's dance shall we?" I said before running at her with renewed vigor
