"Professor Agasa, the lights in my house are on!"
He was scared, unsure if it was those two men in black. A chill ran down his spine.
"Could it be that Ran has come to look for you?" Professor Agasa didn't overthink it like Conan.
Conan froze for a moment. Thinking it over, he understood. If it were the men in black, they wouldn't act so conspicuously. It had to be that girl, Ran.
"Phew, I almost died from the scare because of Ran."
"Shinichi, if Ran has come to look for you, you should go see her. Isn't her father a detective? Maybe you could use his identity to find those two men in black and return to normal."
Professor Agasa's words made Conan pause for a moment, then he sank into deep thought.
"Professor Agasa, I understand."
At Kudo Shinichi's house.
"Shinichi still hasn't returned."
Ran had searched the whole house, but there was no sign that Kudo Shinichi had come back.
Heiji shook his head. "Ran, does Kudo have any other friends nearby?"
Although he already had a suspicion, he wanted to confirm it. Had Kudo Shinichi really turned into Edogawa Conan?
When Ran heard Heiji's words, it seemed like she woke from a trance. Her face lit up with joy, and she ran off with her long legs. "Shinichi gets along really well with Professor Agasa next door, he often goes to his house!"

Professor Agasa's house was a modern-style villa, full of technology everywhere.
"Ran, what are you doing here?"

"Shinichi, no, he's not here."
"Not here?" Ran immediately felt disappointed.
At that moment, Heiji entered, pulling Kazuha along. He glanced at the boy with glasses, Conan, and a smile spread across his lips.
"This kid must be related to Kudo, right?"
Heiji approached Conan and stared at him.
"Ho... hello, big brother," Conan responded in a small voice. He felt an indescribable sense of embarrassment.
"Don't give me any greetings. Have you been to the house next door today?"
The house next door, of course, referred to Kudo Shinichi's house. Although Heiji didn't plan to reveal this kid's identity, a little mental game wouldn't hurt.
