Chapter 40 - Chapter 40: B-Class Mission: Destroy the Base of the Men in Black Organization

Upon receiving Gin's order, a flash of doubt crossed Kir's eyes, but she didn't show it.

"You can enter, but you have to leave before nightfall."

With that said, Kir left directly.

Heiji smiled slightly, drove the BMW into the lot, and parked it in the farthest corner.

"A Porsche, a Citroën... Cars from such different ranges parked in the same place. It seems this gang is in the middle of a negotiation."

Heiji made a casual analysis; anyway, it wasn't his business.

In the underground bar!

Heiji's figure slowly disappeared from the screen. A sinister, cold glint flickered in Gin's eyes.

"Big brother, I've found him. Heiji Hattori, son of the Superintendent General of the Osaka Prefectural Police, Heizo Hattori. He's a kendo master and also a rather famous high school detective in Kansai," Vodka said while looking at the computer screen.

"A high school detective?" a cold smile formed on Gin's lips. "Chianti, have you found the body of that Shinichi Kudo?"

"No, but he hasn't reappeared either," Chianti replied.

"Keep searching. Missing doesn't mean dead. Go search his house. Oh, and take Shiho Miyano with you," Gin ordered coldly.

"Understood," Chianti nodded.

"Big brother, you gave Shinichi Kudo APTX 4869, it's impossible for him to have survived. Why waste more time?" Vodka asked, confused.

"Idiot. As long as the body isn't found, his death can't be confirmed. Keep searching."

Gin's position in the Men in Black Organization was unquestionable. With the exception of Vermouth, everyone else was under his control.

"Yes, big brother," Vodka nodded.

"What do we do with this Heiji Hattori?" Chianti asked.

"Ignore him."

The son of the Superintendent General of the Osaka Prefectural Police... Gin preferred not to mess with him. They had an important transaction coming up and it wasn't the right time to cause a big scene.

Heiji didn't know that place was a base of the Men in Black Organization; he simply thought it was some gang's hideout.

"Heiji, where have you been? We've been waiting for you for a long time."

The three girls, Kazuha, Ran, and Sonoko, had been waiting in the same spot.

"Why wait for me? Didn't I tell you to go shopping first? We could have just called each other later," Heiji said, speechless. Why wait for him? He couldn't even take a break.

"Ran and Sonoko also said they wanted to wait for you, it wasn't just me who insisted," Kazuha said smugly.

"Heiji, we've waited so long for you that you'll have to treat us," Sonoko said bluntly.

"Sonoko, I don't think that's right," Ran said with resignation.

"There's nothing wrong with it. Eating with two beauties is a real pleasure."

"Why two? There are three of us," Kazuha asked curiously.

"Silly, because Kazuha is an ugly bug," Heiji joked.

"How hateful! I hate Heiji!"

Although she said that, Kazuha clung tightly to Heiji, a radiant gleam in her beautiful eyes, full of happiness.

A shadow of melancholy crossed Sonoko's eyes, while Ran's were filled with deep envy.

"Alright, alright! Today we're going to bankrupt Heiji!"

Sonoko recovered quickly and, pulling Ran along, began to cause a ruckus.

For a whole morning and afternoon, Heiji was dragged by the three girls through the busiest areas of Tokyo, his arms laden with all kinds of bags.

"Sonoko, I don't want this anymore, don't buy anything else."

"Yeah, Sonoko, we've bought enough already."

Kazuha and Ran felt helpless. All day long, it had been Sonoko who had paid, spending more than four million yen on things, all for the two of them, well... and for Heiji too.

"Don't worry, this is an order from my older sister. You got scared last time, and this time she wants to make it up to you. My sister is already working, so if you don't accept it, it's your loss," Sonoko said with a mischievous smile.

"But..."

"That's enough. They're the young ladies of the Suzuki Corporation, are you really afraid she'll run out of money?"

Heiji interrupted Kazuha and Ran. If he let them continue, they would probably drag it out much longer. Now, all he wanted was to go back home, take a shower, and sleep comfortably.

Shopping with women is an activity that quickly drains the mind, body, and energy; not even the toughest body can withstand it.

"It's not like that. I don't usually spend money recklessly. I don't want you to misunderstand me, Heiji."

Sonoko hurried to explain, as if she didn't want Heiji to get the wrong idea.

It was already getting dark. The winter days are short, and in the blink of an eye, it was dark.

"Heiji, why did you park the car in this place?"

Sonoko was speechless. The place was gloomy and very scary.

"Didn't I tell you not to come?"

He had told them to wait where they were, but they insisted on following him. This was a gang hangout, where fights occasionally broke out and it wasn't uncommon for people to die. It would be strange if it weren't gloomy.

"It's just that I didn't want to have to wait for you for another half hour."

Kazuha said with a pout. She looked around and hugged Heiji tightly.

Ran and Sonoko hugged each other, with fearful expressions.

Meow~!!!

A black cat ran past them, causing the three girls to scream in fear.

Heiji looked with resignation at the girls on both his sides. They had grabbed both of his arms. Although the soft, curvy sensation wasn't bad, shouldn't they keep a little distance?

"I'm sorry, Heiji."

Ran quickly let go of Heiji, a blush on her cheeks.

"One is an expert in Aikido and the other in Karate, and you get scared by a black cat..."

"What are you talking about! The atmosphere here is really scary. Heiji, let's go quickly."

Kazuha, hugging Heiji, quickened her pace. She didn't want to stay a second longer.

"Big brother, Heiji Hattori is back, and there are three women with him," Vodka said as he looked at the screen.

"Ignore him," Gin said indifferently.

The way back was uneventful; no one came looking for trouble.

Once inside the car, the three girls sighed in relief and urged Heiji to hurry up and start the car.

"Heiji, let's go, let's go now!"

Heiji had no choice but to start the car and leave.

As the car passed by an underground bar...

"B-class mission activated: Destroy this base of the Men in Black Organization. Time limit: one day."

Suddenly, the system's cold voice echoed in his mind.
