Insects… they're truly terrifying.
Some people aren't afraid of them at all—even collect them—but I'm not like that. I hate insects with the strongest hatred possible, and they absolutely disgust me. I don't even know why. Maybe when I was little, some insect attacked me, sent me to the hospital, and then my brain wiped the trauma… though that probably didn't happen.
But even if I don't know the reason, I don't like insects—and unfortunately, the main theme of this story is insects. Those cursed insects.
This is the story of how I, the person who hates insects more than anyone alive, ended up in this damn place in the middle of a god-forsaken hell where nothing exists except insects. Let me tell you something else: if they were just normal insects, maybe I could deal with them. But no—of course not. In my great misfortune, I'm in a place with human-sized insects that walk on two legs, have hands and feet, and talk like humans.
Anyway, I guess now I'm supposed to explain how I got here… but honestly, I have no idea. One day I woke up, and I was just… here. That's all I can remember. Maybe something else happened, but it's been so long. How long, you ask? Hmm… I think a few hundred years… ahh… no, no—maybe a thousand years… I don't know. I didn't exactly have the luxury to count each day in that hell.
If I try to remember, it was something like that, I suppose.
